Consumer Complaint: I placed an order to transfer {$1400.00} from my linked bank account to buy XXXX on the Coinbase XXXX mobile app. When I submitted the transfer an error message came up stating it was unable to process. So I then placed the same exact order for {$1400.00} again because the first transaction didnt go through. After the order processed I noticed Coinbase had processed 2 withdrawals for {$1400.00} each even though the first one came back in error. I didnt have enough funds in my account to cover this so I attempted to contact Coinbase and all I could get a hold of was automated messages same with email I received the same identical responses twice. After contacting my bank the said they couldnt stop this transaction therefore I got overdrafted for a {$30.00} fee from my bank. Coinbase Inc. tried to process the order again and I got overdrafted for a second time for {$30.00} from bank and I literally had no one I could get in touch with this whole time from Coinbase. Not to mention I also got charged a {$21.00} fee on a transaction I never even submitted then another {$21.00} when they made me overdraft twice. I get there is issues that occur but it is ridiculous I couldnt get a hold of anyone to solve this before losing more money I never even transferred in the first place. Coinbase owes me ( 2 ) {$21.00} fees for a transaction that came back in error but somehow still went through. They also owe me ( 2 ) {$30.00} overdraft fees that my bank charged me on. At the very least Coinbase owes me {$100.00} and a big apology for ZERO communication.

Consumer Complaint: At about XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX there was a flash crash in the crypto currency market where many coins were down over 20 %. I watch this happen and prepared to capitalize on the great buy opportunity. Initially I added {$1000.00} to my coinbase account in preparation to buy some XXXX and XXXX class among other coins. However coinbase canceled every single one of my orders when I tried to purchase the coins. Time is of the essence when trying to buy these cryptos and I had timed it very well however coinbase blocked my orders without offering any reasoning as to why. As it turns out they did this to many of their customers on that particularly critical day causing large losses and missed opportunities. Many others have significantly higher loses as their stop loss orders were canceled, again without any explanation. As a cryptocurrency brokerage, coin base 's primary role is as a liquidity provider and they have utterly failed at one of the most crucial moments. It seems awfully suspicious that coinbase would fail at such a crucial moment then offer an after the fact and vaguely worded email after the fact that was clearly written by a lawyer to deflect blame and suggest taking no action against them.

Consumer Complaint: I awoke XX/XX/2021 around XXXX XXXX. to find my coinbase.com account emptied along with {$700.00} from my XXXX XXXX account used to buy more cardano coins before they emptied my coinbase account. The scammer took me for {$4300.00}. I have reached out to coinbase.com for help getting my money back. I have emailed coinbase.com multiple times and have got no where with them. The only thing they did was reset my coinbase password and told me I was out of luck. The case number they gave was # XXXX. I just want to hopefully get my money back and I will never do business with them again. Please help and God bless

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2021 i invested {$1000.00} in XXXX through Coinbase Pro.com website. The {$1000.00} was two transfers of {$100.00} and {$900.00}. I completed the coinbase login requirements with photo and two level account verification. I did not regularly look at the coinbase balance because the value of XXXX was declining and there was not much to deal with. In XX/XX/2021 with the value of XXXX improving I went to my account and found that the account balance was on {$12.00}. I sent a request for support to the Coinbase Support group. They locked my account and told me that they would recover the account. XX/XX/XXXX Support told me that the account was successfully recovered. When I went to the account the balance was still {$12.00}. I sent the support group a copy of the transfer out of my account on XX/XX/2021 for XXXX that was not authorized by me. Support can not tell me who made the transfer or where the money was transferred to. Support has closed the account fraud request with NO RESOLUTION>

Consumer Complaint: On aprox XXXX XX/XX/2021 i was scammed out of XXXX on my Coinbase account,,, on that date i seeked help on Coinbase support page and a box came up they said they was Coinbase support, ,keep in mind this happened on Coinbase support line. Anyhow it was a first time to contact Coinbase so i didnt know how it worked they have no phone just the support line which i was using,,, i wanted to know if i could change a withdraw i just made. They said yes so i went thru the process yes i gave my password but i question it, they said they are Coinbase and if i wanted the help i needed to do so they also said i was typing the password into a bot which no human can see. After that my account was froze and over a 3 day period withdrew XXXX out of my account.I contacted Coinbase after may times and no help... Like i said they have no phone, the only thing they have for customers is a support line which is what i got scammed on. i can prove this as i took parts of their scam i took screen shots, Also after i was scammed they added support to the support line meaning now you need to submit a code from your e mail to send a support question. If that was in place i never would of got scammed,,, they also added a somewhat phone support meaning you apply for a card from Coinbase and when you get the card you can call them now,, which if that was in place i wouldnt of got scammed i would have called first. Thanks XXXX XXXX
