Consumer Complaint: XXXX Account # last 4 : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX account # :XXXX Amount XXXX I contacted XXXX and XXXX 12times. I sent in police reports, I reported this fraud. I even requested the debt verification and they only sent me three bills that are address to a address that isnt mines. They didnt send the sign contract, they never sent in the copy of identification. Nothing and they are reporting it in my report while the original company is doing so as well. When I call XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX the rep did not wan na help me when I asked why werent the requested debt documents sent to me see just estates if you have a lawyer we can speak with them. They are illegally reporting someone else debt in my report and will not help me

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I received an alert from my credit monitoring service that a collection was placed on my credit reports from a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX. I called and spoke to a customer service agent then I asked to speak with a supervisor. I spoke with a young lady by the name of XXXX XXXX. I explained to her that her company placed a collection on my reports that they alleged was placed with their company by XXXX XXXX. In order for the rep to look up my account she asked my name and SSC number. I told her that I would give her my name and last 4. I asked the rep what address they had. She said they had a XXXX XXXX address in XXXX SC I explained to the rep that her company claims this debt was placed with their agency on XX/XX/2018. I told her that I know the company was being deceitful because I was still disputing this fraudulent account with XXXX XXXX and the account was finally removed from my reports on XX/XX/2018, so XXXX could the account be placed with them in XX/XX/XXXX when XXXX still had it in XX/XX/XXXX and was communicating back and forth with me regarding the account, until it was finally removed due to fraud. I called XXXX and explained all this and they in turn informed me they did not place the account with anyone due to fraud and advised me to file a complaint and dispute the accounts with the credit bureaus. I informed them the address they have I have never lived at. I have never heard of this company, I never received any type of communication stating they were placing this fraudulent account on my reports. I may also sue this company for defamation and smearing my credit. This company is using illegal tactics to get consumers to pay collections that they can not validate and do not own

Consumer Complaint: I check my report often to make sure my information is reporting accurately. A few years ago, I was a victim of identity theft and had several accounts removed because someone fraudulently used my personal information. I received a notification from my credit monitoring service that an account has been listed on my credit reports. It is reporting under the company XXXX as a collection for {$270.00}. I have never heard of this company and have no idea who they are. I was never sent any notice or dunning letters in the mail, therefore I have not had a chance to dispute this inaccurate information before being placed on my report. This a violation of my rights and I want this account removed from my credit reports immediately!

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX put collection on my credit reports without my knowledge and in doing so, this violated the FDCPA Collection Practice by placing a collection account on my credit report without sending a letter to me. Plus there is NO verification from the LA Secretary of State that they are registered in Louisiana which is also against the FDCPA! I request that XXXX XXXX verify the following information. 1. Full original Account Number 2. Date original Account was opened 3. Any written agreements between myself and the original creditor stating this debt is owed 4. Full account summary and itemized calculation of alleged debt 5. Date of the first delinquency 6. Dates and times of any phone calls made and to what number in attempt to contact me concerning the alleged debt before it was reported to an agency, and so proving that these calls were made in the times governed by FDCPA law. If XXXX XXXX XXXX is unable to provide the above identifying account information, this account must be deleted from all CRAs. XXXX XXXX XXXX also failed to follow FDCPA by not sending a letter giving the consumer time to dispute or validate the alleged debt within the allowed 30-day time frame that is allowed by law. There was no prior knowledge of debt until XXXX alerted me to it. No contact has ever been made.

Consumer Complaint: After checking my credit report back in XXXX, I noticed items on my credit report that did not belong to me. I called the creditors and credit bureaus directly to dispute the inaccurate information and make them aware of what I noticed on my reports. This has caught me by surprise as I never received collection phone calls pertaining to any debt that was allegedly mine. Later, I was able to get this information updated and even placed a fraud alert on my credit report to be cautious. I have been in communication with the debt collection agency XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX advising them that the debt they're saying is mine DOES NOT BELONG TO ME. I have never had a contract with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - I am not liable for the collection of the debt from XXXX XXXX as this is not mine. I have been disputing this inaccurate information since XX/XX/XXXX and they have not removed this information from my credit file. This has hurt me severely in regards to obtaining credit. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX states that they have validated the debt, however, under the FCRA, they are required to provide a copy of the original creditor 's ( XXXX XXXX ) documentation on file to validate that the debt is mine ( which they have failed to do so ). XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has not provided me with a consumer contract with my signature on it validating this debt belongs to me. I have been disputing this for a while now and this has hindered my credit file tremendously.

Consumer Complaint: On or about XX/XX/2018 I received my annual credit report from XXXX which contained a number of items that did not belong to me and was seriously affecting my credit score. Among the accounts reported in error that did not belong to myself was from XXXX XXXX XXXX ( partial acct # XXXX ) in the amount {$950.00}. On or about XX/XX/2018 I drafted a letter to XXXX demanding the wrongfully reported items be removed pursuant to 15 USC 1681 ( i ) including that of XXXX XXXX. Said letter was send via facsimile to XXXX XXXX with confirmation of fax received. ( A true and accurate copy of letter and fax confirmation are attached to this complaint ). I also contacted XXXX XXXX and demanded any contractual documentation from the original creditor. XXXX XXXX told me that no such documents exist and that they go by social security numbers to which I explained the lunacy of their explanation to the rep. On XX/XX/2018 I received an email from XXXX stating the dispute was completed and that I could get my results online. After many frustrating attempts to obtain the online results to no avail, I called XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and was told that they are having problems with their system and gave me the results over the phone. XXXX deleted all of the items I requested in my XX/XX/XXXX letter except XXXX XXXX, which I was told came back verified. I told XXXX that was an impossibility because it is not my account so any verification is not accurate. The XXXX representative recommended re-disputing the XXXX XXXX account using their online dispute center. As XXXX XXXX online system was having issues, the representative filed the online dispute from their location, asking me a what basis of the dispute, which I again responded was not my account. On XX/XX/2018, a day after XXXX filed the online dispute, I received an email from XXXX stating the dispute was completed and to go online to get the results. A copy of said email is attached. True to form, after several failed attempts to retrieve the result information online, I called XXXX and received the same nonsense story about the system not working correctly, once again received the XXXX XXXX dispute result over the phone, and once again XXXX said it is verified. I explained to the XXXX rep that a proper investigation into a dispute can not be done with a 24 hour period as was done here where XXXX is obviously relying on XXXX information, which always favors the the collection agency, which is a client of XXXX, rather than the consumer. The rep said I should dispute the account with XXXX XXXX directly. I responded that it is not my responsibility to do what is deemed XXXX XXXX responsibility under the FCRA as it the credit reporting agency 's legal obligation to make sure that what they are reporting is truthful and accurate. When a consumer informs the agency that the reporting is in error or fraudulent, the credit reporting agency as a heightened duty under the statute to do a proper and complete investigation. All XXXX would have to do is demand from XXXX XXXX any original contractual documentation by and between myself and the original creditor, which they would then find out it does not exist. Also, as the account is not mine, I can give them no supporting documentation as there is none to give.
