Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2020 Jefferson Capital Systems added a derogatory mark on my credit report. Thi account was originally a medical bill which was paid by my insurance prior to the creditor selling it to a collection account. I am no longer responsible for the account. I have had many unsuccessful disputes with the credit bureaus in reference to this fraudulent account. Also, there was NO written form of communication, contract or signature for this accused debt at all. A bill without a signature does not validate the debt. According to the FCRA, Jefferson Capital Systems has violated my rights as a consumer And Im requesting legal action to remove this account immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I had an account with XXXX XXXX over 6 years ago. One day I received an alert that my account information had been changed. I immediately called XXXX and was told that someone apparently had got into my account and ordered several XXXX and XXXX to be delivered to an address in New Jersey. I am in California. I was assured that I would not be charged for this identity theft. I continued to battle this with XXXX for the next year. I finally dropped XXXX and signed up with a new provider. This fraudulent debt has remained on my credit report all of these years and has never been corrected after many, many attempts to resolve. How can I be punished for someone else 's criminal act? Unbelievable. They are also showing this account as " open ''!?? and that it was opened one year and eight months ago.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I was alerted by the 3 credit bureaus that Jefferson Capital Systems and XXXX XXXX are illegally reporting a negative collection account on behalf of XXXX. I have not had any business dealings with any of these companies and have been disputing these fraudulently acquired collections as identity fraud for months. I am filing this complaint requesting assistance in having the collection of these accounts stopped and deleted from the bureaus permanently, as they have negatively impacted my ability to get home financing. The reporting is inconsistent and stating the debt is {$890.00} with one bureau and {$270.00} with the other two. If this can not be rectified soon, I will be forced to pursue civil action as this violates my Fair Credit Reporting rights.
