If all of these requirements are not in order, then I have the legal right to request the deletion of this tradeline accordingly. Consumer Complaint: On or about XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I called jefferson capital at XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was asked for the reference # XXXX. I asked why they had sent me a collection letter plus increased the number of years owed to 14 years. The original debt owed allegedly ended in XXXX but I was told I was sent a reduced amount settlement. There employee stated that I agreed to pay the lesser amount and that I paid {$20.00} towards The debt. They said because of that they increased my payment end date to XXXX. I told them that I never agreed to anything with them and they have committed what I suspect is criminal fraud. I asked there employee that I'm was protesting there claim and I would like all documentation to include the court order. By the way i have never seen a court order saying I owed these people anything. Please advise.
