Consumer Complaint: -On XX/XX/XXXX I sent a Certified validation request letter for collection on my account for {$970.00} from Jefferson Capital Services . In my letter I asked for all validating documents I have the right to see and gave 30 days to them. I waited months For a response yet they continued to report on my credit file. Come XX/XX/XXXX I still hadnt heard from the company yet my credit remains so I decide to resend another certified validation letter which was delivered XX/XX/XXXX & still until this day they have not validated this debt and not supplied not one peice of proof showing I owe this debt yet they continue to report on my credit reports. I waited another 30 days for response and nothing still. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent another certified letter requesting/demanding removal of this debt from my reports given they have not supplied bo evidence of this debt being owed in the past 5 months. I also sent my information to the actual bureaus requesting removal. As of today nothing had changed and still no proof of this debt being owed and now Im here.

I was made aware today via my report online after having made contact with debt collectors and doing research to follow the proccess to remove these unfair judgments and after being phoned repeatedly about these debt that I can dispute them in more effective ways, I did not incure these debts. I wasn't aware did not understand at the time I could dispute it or tell issuerer this debt is not mine.

Consumer Complaint: I received a letter from Jefferson Capital Systems , LLC, attempting to collect a debt of {$520.00} related to a XXXX Account. I called the number on the letter to inquire further, and they informed me of an account that was opened in XX/XX/XXXX and used in XX/XX/XXXX, which does not correspond to any actions on my end. JCS has my name and home address, but when pressed to verify my SSN I declined. When pressed to verify my email address, I also declined, but the representative read off an address that had no relation whatsoever to me. I don't know how they obtained my information in the first place but this is either a scam, or the result of identity theft.

My current credit report shows that a XXXX collections was opened on XXXX XXXX, however, I have a credit report from XXXX XXXX that shows XXXX was in collections from XXXX and charged off in XXXX XXXX so they have re-aged the account and should be removed for illegal practices.

Consumer Complaint: Jefferson Capital Systems , LLC has been harassing me despite having paid them off already. I set up a payment plan and settled. I completely paid them off in XX/XX/2021, last week, they send me a letter stating I now owe {$50.00}. I called them and they told me I don't have a balance. I informed them of the letter, they then stated oh I do have a balance then. I asked why when they just told me initially I am paid in full. They began to ask me questions on when did I pay it off. I informed him the dates should be right there in his system since he just told me I had no balance at the beginning of the call. I asked for a supervisor and the agent laughed and put me on hold for over 5 mins. I called back and the same thing happened, I was told I have no balance, informed of the letter and again, all of a sudden now I do have a balance. Then the agent began talking about a debit for XXXX, I have never had any service of any kind with XXXX. I could barely get a word in, the agents kept cutting me off, raised their voices over mine. All I wanted was for the to validate this new " debit '' I owe. But they couldn't seem to answer any of my questions, explain anything, and would refuse to let me speak to a supervisor. These people are scammers and need to be looked into.

Consumer Complaint: This is in reference to a fraudulent charge recovery request from numerous collection agencies, which XXXX XXXX is fraudulently claiming I created on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX has never tried to contact me by phone, or at the address where I reside concerning this account in any way whatsoever. I have never opened an account with XXXX, or been in a XXXX store, or ever contacted XXXX concerning service. I had refuted the charges to XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. XXXX and XXXX did remove the fraudulent charge, but XXXX will not remove the fraudulent charge without consent from XXXX XXXX. This charge has been tossed around from XXXX debt collector to another. When I got a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I refuted the charges and sent them a written notification that I do not own the debt and will not pay. The charge is then passed on to Jefferson Capital Systems LLC., I refuted the charges and they pass the fraudulent charge on to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX again, I refuted the charges. And the circle continues. I have contacted XXXX fraud department by phone ( XXXX ) and was told, by a representative, XXXX, on XX/XX/XXXX that the account exists but has not been used. I was told, by XXXX, that my name and social security number will be removed from that account, and the reporting agencies notified, and that I would receive an email stating that it has been cleared. I informed the XXXX representative that I have never lived at the address listed on the fraudulent account, and I have never seen, or not familiar, with the telephone number listed as the contact number. I have not heard from or been contacted by XXXX fraud department since this call. I recently received a threatening letter from Jefferson Capital Systems concerning the debt and that they can sue me and will continue harassing me about this charge. ( Letter attached ). I need my name and social security number disassociated with this fraudulent charge and the credit reporting agencies updated. See attachments :

Consumer Complaint: I received a notice in the mail today XX/XX/21 even thought the notice is from XX/XX/21 about a debt to XXXX. The amount is for {$590.00} and they were willing to accept {$410.00} to resolve the debt. I checked the company which was Jefferson Capital Systems and the phone numbers did not match. I also checked the account number on their official website and there was no record of the debt. I also checked my XXXX account for transactions over the past 10 years starting from today and there is no transaction of such amount. I have never been sent a letter about this debt prior to the one I received today.
