Consumer Complaint: This letter is in response to your letter on XX/XX/2021 related to the debt referenced above. I wish to save us both some time and effort by settling this debt. Please be aware that this is not an acknowledgment or acceptance of the debt, as I have not received any verification of the debt. Nor is this a promise to pay and is not a payment agreement unless you provide a response as detailed below. I am aware that your company has the ability to report this debt to the credit bureaus as you deem necessary. Furthermore, you have the ability to change the listing since you are the information furnisher. They have failed to even investigate or send me correspondence back indicating they did an investigation and what the out come was. I have no knowledge of these accounts XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ... XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ... XXXX XXXX XXXX that listed on my credit report. Further more, this account can not be 100 % accurate as there are open dates they have listed on my credit report varies between the 3 bureaus. How can one account be opened on different days? I want there alleged accounts in question to be removed from my credit report immediately.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX a debt verification letter was mailed to Jefferson Capital Systems via Certified Mail. On Monday, XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from Jefferson Capital dated XX/XX/XXXX. There was no postmark on the letter. The letter states only that they have puchased the debt in question, and that verification is enclosed. The only enclosure was a photocopy of a bill from the original creditor dated XX/XX/XXXX. The information received from Jefferson Capital is not enough to verify the alleged debt. They failed to provide further information that was requested in my debt verification letter, such as the date the debt was purchased. In addition, the account is reported as opened XX/XX/XXXX, over two years past the date on the photocopy of the bill provided. I believe the debt age is being incorrectly reported to the bureaus, which is in violation of the FCRA. Until recently, I was unaware of said alleged debt, and Jefferson Capital Systems has failed to provide adequate documentation to justify further collections efforts.

I requested they verifiable documentation from this company that I have an account with them i.e signed contract with my signature.And if this info cant be verified be removed from my credit report. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, SECTION 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), you are required by Federal law to verify through the physical verification of the original signed consumer Contract any and all accounts you post on a credit report. Otherwise, anyone paying for Your reporting services could fax, mail or email in a fraudulent account. I demand to see verifiable proof ( an original Consumer Contract with my Signature.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2018, someone opened a fraudulent account at XXXX XXXX, which owes {$290.00}. I have never opened an account with them and I have no relationship with that company, it is identity theft. I called the debt collection agency which is Jefferson Capital, and they told me that I had to send evidence that it was fraud, I asked them what any necessary documents they need, and they only repeated that should be documents that proved to be fraud and they did not tell me nothing more. I called the police to file a complaint and they couldn't help me either. In XXXX XXXX they put me in Derogatory Mark and the account in collection. And I called XXXX to notify it, and I made the dispute. But it couldn't be fixed.
