Consumer Complaint: I have been fighting this for a few years now this is not my account Ive never used it I never opened I have asked for them to send me proof which I my right I want original documents proving this is mine. And no response. It keeps getting sold from one company to the next and no one will help me they have the originating date in 2010. So I have been fighting this for a long time now its not mine. Consumer Complaint: I contacted this company on XX/XX/2021 to validate the debt on XXXX accounts. They responded to me stating they were unable to validate the debt and they would no longer be trying to collect on the debt and they would be contacting the credit bureaus to have the debts deleted/removed. The company removed the debt from one credit bureau and then placed it back on my credit report, so it is still showing on all credit bureaus even after they stated they couldn't verify and would be having it removed.

I requested debt validation along with my request for information outlining their right to collect a debt from me. Jefferson Capital Systems responded by providing information outlining a debt owed to an entire different entity along with a created document from themselves that ( says ) that they purchased a debt and I am liable. Jefferson Capital Systems failure to produce the purchase agreement and or quit claim, in which I specifically requested leads me to believe they are attempting to collect a debt under false pretense which is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practing Act.

Consumer Complaint: I had a call which I answered telling me that a lawsuit has been filed against me to press one for more information. I pressed one and a rude individual asked me for a case number. I informed them that I didnt know but expected them to know when they called my phone. She told me that my logic was ridiculous and that she did not call. I informed her that someome from there called and asked me to hold. She hung up. I called back and told her that she was completely unprofessional and in violation of the fair debt collection act. She told me I had " too much energy and that she was not the irresponsible individual who did not pay their debt. '' She hung up. I calle dback and she lets the phone ring. With XXXX, I have learned that the number is registered to Jefferson Captial. I want to pursue this violation and be compensated for their behavior.
