For many years I have responded phone calls to provide proof of ownership, with no responses. Since you have not supplied the demanded proof of the alleged debt, under the doctrine of estoppel by silence, I may presume that no proof of the alleged debt, nor therefore any such debt, in fact exists.

Consumer Complaint: I keep getting calls from XXXX. Today XX/XX/XXXX, at XXXX est I get a call asking for XXXX and saying I have a XXXX loan from XXXX from Indiana . This is incorrect. I never took out a loan. I told them if they have my number, they have my address to mail an itemized bill to me. He repeats an Indiana address that is not mine. I told him he has the wrong person, to which he gets annoyed and says " I gave you the information bc you said yes ''. I tell him that I never said Yes. Asked him to repeat the name and I hear a name XXXX. I think? I said that is the wrong person. He claims he will put me on a no call list but I'm not sure. He seemed like he was trying to scam me.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXXI sent a leter regarding inaccurate and unknown things on my credit report to this day over 60 days later I have not received a response yet. I feel like Im being taken advantage of and being ignored of my disputes. Section 611 ( a ). It is plainly stated that a failure to investigate these items within 30 days gives a reason to immediately remove those items from my credit report I has been over 60 days so they should be deleted promptly. I demand these accounts be deleted immediately or I will file for ligation due to the stress you caused me. My information was also impacted by the XXXX data breach and may have got into the hands of the wrong person.

Consumer Complaint: On my credit report Jefferson Capital Systems inaccurately reported the date my debt was opened as XX/XX/XXXX, when they confirmed over the phone that it was XX/XX/XXXX. They refuse to correct it because they have to list the date they acquired my debt. Thats not at all what date opened means when looking at a credit report. Date opened means the date the account was opened not the date some company acquired my debt. Every other debt company works the same way but Jefferson Capital Systems.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, Jefferson Capital Systems opened a collections account for a debt that they claimed I owed for an old phone bill. Several agencies have attempted to collect this debt in the past, and each time I have requested a copy of the contract to verify the debt. When Jefferson Capital first contacted me, I replied to their request on their website, disputing the validity of the debt and requesting a copy of the contract. They provided nothing in response but instead have added the account to my credit report at all three of the major bureaus. I have disputed the entries with those bureaus, but each time Jefferson has " verified '' the accuracy of the information with them and the items remain on the reports. On or around XX/XX/XXXX I called Jefferson Capital to request that the items either be verified properly or removed and again I have received no response. Jefferson Capital is refusing to provide proper verification of this debt and as such should be required to cease its collections efforts and remove the offending items from my credit report.
