Consumer Complaint: The company XXXX XXXX XXXX contacted me regarding a debt I was not aware of. I advised the representative I need a validation of debt and wanted to debt the debt. The representative advised me I could not dispute the debt until after I received my validation of debt. I informed the representative this was not true and I had the right the dispute the debt as well as request a validation. The representative continue to argue with me and cut me off then eventually hung up the phone after asking for a manager. He advised me no manager was available and the call dropped. I called back to speak to manager XXXX XXXX, I asked him to listen the call since he seemed to not believe his representative told me false information. I asked him to listen to the call and call me back or I can call him back so we can resolve the situation. He told me it was none of my concern and refused to set a follow up to discuss the call. The manager told me he went ahead and put the account in dispute. I informed the manager if I didnt know my rights I wouldve thought the only way I can dispute the account is after I received my validation. He did not seem concerned about my situation. I asked him for information on upper management and Human Resources to submit a complaint, initially he refused but after pressing a while he eventually gave me a general number for the company. The representative also did not provide the mini-Miranda.

Consumer Complaint: Contacted Jefferson capital on XX/XX/21 to see why I havent received a pic ltr and email.. spoke to a supervisor # XXXX XXXX XXXX from Jefferson capital he told me he received my check for {$150.00} that on the back of it stated by cashing this check you agree to pif and remove from my credit within 30 days he started getting loud with me and said that was never a green upon I let him know I spoke to XXXX agent # XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and agreed on a XXXX balance. I made an agreement placed it on the back of a check and they cashed it XX/XX/XXXX agreeing to the terms and now they are trying to send me a settlement in full instead of a payment in full and havent removed it from my credit.

I have let them know that this is not my debt and that they need to stop contacting me ; yet they are still sending me letters. When I tried to call them he asked me for my Social Security number which I absolutely refuse to give over the phone to anybody they need to stop bothering me with the stuff thats almost 10 years old its not mine.

Consumer Complaint: I received a court summons to appear on court for {$3400.00} credit card debt from a collection agency in Colorado. I called the number on the summons I explained to XXXX that I never received a XXXX credit card. He told me that ( XXXX ) XXXX had been sold to XXXX in XXXX. I reviewed my emails and bank account transactions. I did have a XXXX card since XXXX and had paid through automatic withdrawals from my bank account. I had never missed a payment. Also, I explained that I did not receive any notification from XXXX and that there is no record of a balance. XXXX had no record of my credit card and that I wanted to know why the amount was so large. By going paperless, I am not able to retrieve the card number or the monthly statements Emails are the only source of communication with XXXX. The maximum credit granted to me was {$1500.00} and I had stopped using the card and wanted to pay it off XXXX told me that he could reduce the amount I owed to {$2300.00} and I must pay in one or three payments. I explained that I could pay {$250.00} a month to settle this debt. XXXX threatened me by saying you owe this money and reminded me of the court date. Another person came on the call and told me the only offer available to me to settle this debt was {$360.00} for 8 months, I reminded him that I did not have any statements and still needed more information. XXXX told me that this was the only option for me. So, I agreed to his terms Please let me know if this is a legitimate XXXX legal process for a person in this situation. Thanks in advance for helping me. XXXX XXXX XXXX
