Consumer Complaint: I called a credit card company XXXX credit it was placed on my report for {$450.00} Ive never applied for a card with this company so I called the company and ask them to remove it they told me I didnt exist in the system yet Im on there on my credit report of called again and they gave me a phone number to contact that number was a fraudulent email address I tried to call attempted to call back and try to rectify the situation I just dont wan na be charge for something that I didnt apply for nor did I use they told me that no I dont have no information in the system and Im just trying to get this removed from my credit report

They have put a collection account on my credit reports that is not my debt and never had that account opened. I disputed this debt 6 times and the creditor has yet to provide me the proof of debt, and is now illegally still pursuing and reporting the collection against the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). Consumer Complaint: Jefferson Capital Systems is reporting a debt on my credit file that needs to be removed. There are so many things in this account that are wrong and I'm sick on having it on my credit. I called years ago and they told me it was for internet or something out in XXXX. I have no idea where XXXX is, I have never lived there. This account is surely not mine and I told them that in our conversation but they insist in putting fraudulent accounts on peoples account. Not only that, this account would be past the statute which is irrelevant because it is not mine. This needs to be removed immediatley. Remove false debts on credit can be considered fraud under both federal and state laws and I will not hesitate to bring legal action against Jefferson Capital Systems.

Consumer Complaint: I believe I am a victim of identity theft. Due to the Pandemic, we have been facing a lot of problems in terms of financial, emotional, and physical aspects. Also, I have been hearing a lot of recent news that the Bureaus are having data and system issues. I disputed the fraudulent information from my credit report. I have no idea how the theft took place. I also have no knowledge of any suspects. I did not receive any money, goods, or services as a result of identity theft. I have done many attempts to reach out to the 3 Credit Bureaus but they failed to give me any results or feedbacks about this concern. Please investigate and remove it from my personal credit file. Consumer Complaint: I received a collections notice dated XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in an attempt to collect debt in the amount of {$550.00} for XXXX XXXX Credit Card. A discount payment of {$360.00} was offered within the notice. On XX/XX/XXXX a certified debt validation letter was sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX via United States Postal Service. No further response was received by the collections company for the month of XXXX. I received a collections notice dated XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with a balance of {$550.00} with a now discounted payment offer for {$330.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX a debt validation letter was sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX via certified mail through the United States Postal Service. Upon my second attempt in validating the debt, communication ceased from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for the rest of the year. I received a collections notice dated XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX, XXXX in an attempt to collect debt in the amount of {$550.00} with an offer to resolve the account for {$360.00}. Knowing that two collection agencies can not collect on the same debt, I placed a phone call to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to confirm if they are indeed the collections account holder. I was told by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that they no longer held the account and was referred back to the original creditor, XXXX. I then placed a call to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to gain clarification and obtain debt verification, a XXXX representative stated the account was no longer with XXXX and was placed in collections to Jefferson Capitol ; contact information for Jefferson Capitol was given. I requested for a statement or documentation showcasing the amount of {$550.00}, the representative asked for updated contact information, I complied and provided updated contact ; I was told a statement would be sent to me for validation purposes. No statements were ever sent by XXXX. A call was placed to Jefferson Capital Systems , LLC on XX/XX/XXXX to obtain the address and account information in which to send a debt validation letter. A representative from Jefferson Capital Systems , LLC communicated that the account was with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, when asked for clarification on the account being held with Jefferson Capital Systems , LLC as the collections agency but the collector is with another agency, I was prompted to update my contact information. I complied with the request, gave my updated information I was then told to contact XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for further information on the account. I received a phone call on XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in regards to a XXXX XXXX XXXX Credit Card XXXX in the amount of {$550.00}. I communicated to the representative that I have not received any statements or paperwork indicating I indeed owe {$550.00}. I furthermore explained that I have the last billing statement from XXXX and I did not owe an amount of {$550.00}, I let the representative know that I would be sending a certified debt verification letter to the collections company. I sent a certified debt verification letter dated XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX via United States Postal Service. I never received debt verification from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX neither did I receive further communication from the company in regards to this debt. Upon reviewing my credit with the three bureaus I noticed that XXXX was reporting the debt as charged off but with a current and past due balance of {$550.00}. XXXX did not indicate on my credit file that the account was in collections. With my last bill statement from XXXX in the amount of {$570.00} and the inconsistencies in XXXX 's practices of obtaining the debt I decided to file a dispute directly with all three credit bureaus. A dispute letter dated XX/XX/XXXX was sent to XXXX XXXX and XXXX highlighting the inconsistencies that were being reported by XXXX, I sent copies of the collection agency documents and the last billing statement from XXXX. Nothing was resolved, XXXX and XXXX did not investigate the dispute and XXXX sent me notification stating the dispute was resolved by data furnisher however nothing has changed.
