Consumer Complaint: I requested a letter of validation of debt twice now and they have not sent it to me, it has been over 30 days and they claim to have sent it to me but the letters I got and saved only show the total amount owed not what I requested. I called the company and they are telling me they sent it when they have not. I requested a email and one was not sent. The When I was requesting the debt over the phone the woman kept trying to convince me to pay before getting that letter and almost refusing to provide it. This has been removed from my XXXX already as well due to meeting the FCRA requirments.

Consumer Complaint: There is an old account that has been flagged as a charge-off and removed from my credit report. The collection agency ( Jefferson Capital ) has been calling me multiple times each day, with 2 of the calls being around 11 pm. They keep calling from multiple different numbers, and they have once tried announcing themselves as an IRS representative, prior to them stating that the address to mail payments to is XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX Minnesota, which upon further research, ended up being the address to Jefferson Capital. They have now sent a letter in the mail that shows an incorrect balance that is different from the balance XXXX shows. In the letter, it also includes them stating that I need to contact them, or else they will interpret failure to contact as an admittance of all of their information being correct, which I feel is an attempt by them to reset the legal clock of the time a debt expires.

They re-aged the account incorrectly on my report. Also on my credit report they have the account number as XXXX and I don't have any record of this account number. Consumer Complaint: HEY XXXX XXXX ; JEFFERSON CAPITAL SYSTEM ; Im confused and stressed and shocked when I reviewed my credit report this week and I found multiple inaccuracies on my credit report from the 3 major credit bureaus from a collection company that I never have dealt with before. I've attempted several times to ratify the issue with the original creditors and credit bureaus and they still reporting inaccurate, unverifiable information. I have disputed this item with the credit reporting agency and they reported you confirmed the account as valid. I honestly do not believe to ever have any relationship with this collection agency or original creditor. Also there are several inaccuracies with this account the way it's reporting and that's a total violation of FCRA and FDCPA laws and regulations. In a good faith effort to resolve the matter amicably, I must demand proof of this debt, specifically the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature, as well as proof of your authority in this matter. My identity has been stolen a while ago someone was taking my mail out of my mailbox I did everything i was told to do and all the things where removed from my credit know they are coming back on my credit this is not my debt. Consumer Complaint: I had a XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card they submitted it to Jefferson Capital debt collector and I paid off the balance I actually settled with them for a lesser amount back in XXXX of 2021 they told me once I paid it off and I settled it it will be removed off my credit report and they still have not done it because of that they lied to me I am being refused an apartment And if they can't remove it then they need to change the language and say that I settled the account in a lesser amount and remove the charge-off / collection language off of the three credit bureaus
