I have nothing under this company called Jefferson capital. Yet they continue to harass me. I told them to stop calling me and they continue. I told them again that I am not XXXX XXXX and to stop calling. And they continue over 5 times a day. They called from XXXX starting at XXXX. XXXX at XXXX, XXXX at XXXX, XXXX at XXXX, XXXX -- XXXX at XXXX, XXXX at XXXX, XXXX at XXXX for today XX/XX/2022. And they're probably still continuing to be calling.

When Jefferson Capital started trying to collect, I disputed in 30 days of thr notice. Several years later they would call and then on their last call they advised that they could not collect on it anymore because of the age. I am not getting collection calls from XXXX XXXX they are advising that they are collecting on behalf of JEFFERSON CAPITAL who is listed as a company I had service with. XXXX had not sent me a collection letter and when they call, they did not want to advise where they were calling from

Consumer Complaint: Since XX/XX/XXXX, I've gotten calls from phone number XXXX once a day, every weekday morning from about XXXX to XXXX am. Caller ID displays XXXX XXXX '. I rarely pick up the phone and no message is ever left. On the rare occasions I've picked up the phone without saying anything myself, there is nothing but dead air on the line. Based on the pattern of these calls, I strongly suspect that the calls are coming from a debt collection agency. When I XXXX the number, many complaints mention Jefferson Capital Systems, a debt collection agency. However, all of the complaints against the company are more than 2 years old. I have absolutely no unpaid debts of any sort. My mortgage is paid off, credit card balances, utilities, insurance payments etc, are all automatically debited in full each month from my bank checking account. In addition, my credit scores from various sources are consistently above 800, with a completely clean credit record. Since I have no debt problem, I have no intention of personally interacting with the source of these calls. I just want the calls to stop.

Consumer Complaint: I never gave my lawful consent for anyone to furnish on my consumer credit report such as my name, my address, social security number, this is a violation of my rights due to perform or exercise because I was denied extension of credit for inaccurate and false pretenses of any person who knowingly and willfully obtains information on a consumer from a consumer credit reporting agency under false pretenses shall be fined under title 18, imprisoned for not more than 2 years, or both. If you can not provide me with proof of my lawful consent of any transaction that took place between the creditor and the debtor that means it is willfully and knowingly that this information is INACCURATE and False and I DEMANDING that you DELETE all FRAUD thats reported on my consumer credit report or their will consequences and penalties for the violations. Your firm has failed to send the legally required validation of this debt. You have been notified that your actions are detrimental to me and that your firm has violated ( including but not limited to ) the Consumer Credit Protection Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Your firm knew or should have known that the actions taken against me and the information collected about me was inappropriate and damaging to me. Failed to use reasonable care in the course of business and failed to use even minimal procedures to ensure that I was not harmed.
