I attempted to contact them in order to see why someone had created an account in my name. This is a serious matter, and I'm disappointed that it's now having an effect on my credit score. I do not give anyone permission to use my name, date of birth, or any other personal information since it violates Data Privacy. They must determine who started the account in my name and simply transfer the information to that person. Kindly help me in fixing this issue.

I hired an attorney to assist with getting negative, fraudulent debt in my name removed from my credit report only for the same information to be reported again months later by different vendors but same debt information that doesn't belong to me. I've reported it to all three credit bureaus to no avail. Example : Fraudulent Debt Showing on XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX amount {$480.00} removed XXXX 20222 after dispute however purchased by new company XXXX XXXX amount {$480.00} and added back to credit report as XXXX 2022 XXXX XXXX XXXX acct XXXX amount {$800.00} removed XXXX 2022 after dispute however purchased by new company XXXX XXXX amount {$800.00} and added back to credit report as XXXX 2022 XXXX XXXX XXXX acct XXXX amount {$1000.00} removed back in XX/XX/2022 and added back in XX/XX/ 2022 this is fraud XXXX XXXX XXXX acct XXXX amount {$220.00} removed back in XXXX2022 and added back in XX/XX/2022 this is fraud. I have attempted to contact these companies to validate debt to no avail. Information in credit report in dead phone numbers and bogus addresses.

Consumer Complaint: Back in 2017 I had my identity stolen and they charged a XXXX account using my information. From the account, XXXX sent the debt to collections before even reaching out to me ( which I had no information or access to the account ) and ever since then, the collection agency will call multiple times a year and sent letters about the amount owed. I have contacted the agency to tell them my information was stolen and sent them online police reports and that I should be fine now but they are still trying to collect. I have checked my credit report and there is no such outstanding balance/debt on my record so I am unsure why they keep sending me letters. The agency is called Jefferson Capital, with reference # XXXX and this has been ongoing since 2017. If there was an actual outstanding balance, it should show on my credit report and affect my credit but I am not seeing anything.
