Consumer Complaint: Purchased windows for my home, for late spring installation in XXXX, on XX/XX/XXXX via written contract in my home with sales person of XXXX XXXX XXXX with credit card purchase of {$5000.00} toward the total due. After re-examining conversation with XXXX XXXX XXXX sales person we felt there was something shady about the company so we followed their policy and filed a declination of contract form they provided us with according to their own policy. XXXX XXXX XXXX had a certain amount of days to refund our credit card, per their own written policy. Refund was not received so we disputed the charge with the credit card company. Called the credit card company 3 times to discuss status of the investigation and was told someone would be instructed to call us to discuss further. Each of the 3 times we never received a call back from anyone investigating the disputed charge. Then we received a letter from the credit card company stating we did not follow XXXX XXXX XXXX declination policy and they wanted to know the date we contacted the company and what the company 's response was from that contact. However, we followed the policy to the letter and provided all proof necessary to void the charge on our credit card. The credit card company said they would reinstate the {$5000.00} charge and the fees and interest related to that charge going back to the date of the charge. We have no reason to contact the credit card company any further since they ignored the proof provided that we followed XXXX XXXX XXXX policy and were wrongly denied the dispute of the charge. We desire the {$5000.00} be removed and any related fees and interest related to that charge be reversed as well.

Consumer Complaint: I sent the complaint before with my other email address and the Citi bank doesnt recognize it, So I sent complaint with my email. On XX/XX/2022 I had a spirit flight, who ever at the airport doesnt allow me to check in before XXXX minutes. So I had to buy another flight ticket on XX/XX/2022. After I go home I ask Citi credit card dispute the amount of {$160.00}, and then bank ask me upload the documents before XX/XX/2022 for this case. I didnt receive any email or mailing says that I need provide document, so I missed that part. And now Citi tells telling to find merchandise spirit which they arent willing to refund me back for my {$160.00}. I just feel not right, I dont even got my flight, I have to buy another ticket.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX Friday of 2022, I went into Home Depot with my wife to purchase some goods. After we had made it to the checkout, a lady began ringing our items and then asked about credit card applications. I said I was interested and she began the process. The issue begins after that when I saw the XXXX was XXXX % and I said absolutely not and wanted to cancel. The Home Depot employee then put her body between me and the credit card reader and typed a bunch of stuff quickly then left to get another employee. Once the other employee got here, she said ok bye and left. I asked what had happened and if the credit card was cancelled which the lady said she had no idea about and that it should have been. Well it wasnt. The lady ignoring me, decided to continue with the whole application and send it even after telling her to stop. Once I got the mail that I had attempted to open this CC, I talked to XXXX XXXX chat who said someone with XXXX XXXX would contact me to help deal with this issue. Well, 3 months later and not a single call. I have tried contacting, but all I get is hung up on constantly. I even had Citi bank who deals with XXXX XXXX 's XXXX try to help me contact someone and they had the same issue. XXXX XXXX 's Own partners couldn't navigate the support lines. This is absolutely unacceptable and will be pursuing fraudulent Credit Card charges against XXXX XXXX for this. I attempted to talk to them and get this all taken care of, but they are nowhere to be found.

Consumer Complaint: Initially when I opened the dispute, I was only disputing {$260.00} which was the amount of money worth of work not completed. However, after the dispute was filed, the grout began to deteriorate that they had installed around the XXXX and in several other areas and the sealant no longer useful. So I called on XXXX to dispute the remaining amount of {$780.00} because the other part of the work that was performed was done poorly as the XXXX has different XXXX, cracks in it, most of it has deteriorated in sections, there was an overuse of grout ( sloppy workmanship ) which I have had a hard time getting off my tile and the merchant is unwilling to make any additional attempts to correct the issue. This has left me with part of the work not completed ( {$260.00} ) and the remaining work poorly done as stated above and cracks/loss of grout they installed not as expected. Since informing them of this on XXXX, I have called back several times in an attempt to get a temporary credit for the difference and have a feeling that it wasn't actually filed for the difference until XXXX.

I did not have a reservation my self but share a room with other friends. One of my Friend asked for help to pay For The Room and they needed {$1000.00} which I will get back from them after they collect that amount from the team members, So I went a head and made that Payment from my Credit card Citi Visa Credit Card. then I had left the XXXX Early morning of the XXXX of XX/XX/2022 around XXXX XXXX in the Morning of Monday going back home to XXXX Arizona, after about 45 days I discovered there are unknown charges to my account one on the XXXX of XXXX of {$6000.00} and XXXX on the XXXX of XXXX So the total Unauthorized Charge is {$6000.00} which I did explain to Citi bank about the whole story, The credit card company Gave me a credit For that A mount For about a month and reverse it back, and ask me to deal with Hotel my self

Consumer Complaint: I applied for a Macys American Express card and was approved today. I have tried to purchase a new sofa directly through Macys numerous times today using the card I was approved for and Citibank continues to deny the purchase. I have called 3-4 times and have spoken with every department. I have answered all their questions and have had the restrictions removed per my conversations and still can not use the card. I had my credit ran and received approval for this card and am being denied use of it. This is fraud. I would like the account closed and the credit inquiry removed. This is extremely frustrating.

Consumer Complaint: My intent was opening an account with CIT Bank which already I have an account with them and I was opening a Certificate Deposit with No Penalty Account. XXXX redirected to CITI Bank, I opened the account and realized it was penalized if I Have to with draw early. I called one week after opening the account immediately and explained the situation XXXX redirecting CIT Bank accounts to CITI Bank. There were no proper explanation all they were saying account opened online, to with draw it will be penalized. Now I have situation I have to pay my daughter tuition fees, there are penalty. All CITI Bank associates spoke to me are rude. I would like to escalate to this bureau to investigate on XXXX and CITI Bank and close my Certificate Deposit with interest incurred with out any penalties.

Consumer Complaint: Citi Bank..I took out a XXXX XXXX..Citi XXXX Plan XXXX thinking that when they reported my loan to credit reporting agencies that it would raise my credit score..Low and behold they told me afterwards that they do no report loans to credit reporting agencies..My XXXX XXXX was $ XXXX 10.99 % there was also a special purchase which when I called customer service and told them that I was going to pay off the higher interest rate charge, I was told that the balance was $ XXXX.I made a balance transfer to my XXXXXXXX XXXX and Citi Bank received the money on XXXX XXXX.Now their " rules '' are, any payment made with this balance transfer will go to the higher interest charge which is my standard purchase that 0 % ended on XX/XX/XXXX and thats why I did a balace transfer..I see that they want a payment of {$100.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I called XXXX customer service to say that everything was paid off in charges with the balance transfer and that my XXXX XXXX payment is {$66.00} per month and thats what I'm paying in XXXX ... WRONG!! i have paperwork stating that the higher interest charge gets paid off first ... Well she says, its going to take up to five business days to correct the error and in the meantime that I need to pay the {$100.00}, I said I will not because Citi Bank made the error and all I owe is my XXXX XXXX ... I cant stand Citi Bank and cant wait to cut up the card..Not reporting my loan to credit agencies and then after several calls to customer service to find out the PAY OFF for standand purchase, was verified at {$270.00} which was confirmed on XX/XX/XXXX ... I have an email from Citi Bank stating that a payment was made to my account on XX/XX/XXXX, they posted it to the wrong account!!! So therfore my XX/XX/XXXX statement is incorrect..Payment in XXXX will be a {$66.00} XXXX XXXX payment... Remaining Balance $ XXXX Monthly Payment {$66.00} Remaining Payments 22 A {$270.00} payment posted to the account on XXXX XXXX XXXX per Citi Bank email. Please let consumers know that they hire people in other countries to answer customer service calls. I called one afternoon and spoke to XXXX, I asked him where are you speaking to me from... He said XXXX and that he had just clocked on to work and it was XXXX in the morning in XXXX XXXX I spoke to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX and he verified the balance transfer, I requested that he send me an email stating that I only owe XXXX XXXX he never followed through like he said he would. I called on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX EST to XXXX on the phone and on hold for over 25 minutes trying to resolve once again an issue with Citi Bank and their customer service obviously no taking notes as to my numerous call about this balance transfer ... BAD company

So I called them that i will make payments starting on XX/XX/XXXX if they could waive the XXXX $ fee per month, she said yes will waive it so start paying XX/XX/XXXX i paid XXXX my monthly of XXXX because I was trying to cope up with my missed payment but on my Citibank app I have payment due that is coming more that my monthly amount of XXXX $ XXXX paid it anyways because I don't XXXX XXXX be charge with fees, then I tried to contact them but never had the chance to talk to someone from the loan department because they will put you on hold for more than XXXX then it will hangup. I went to XXXX of the branch to talk regarding my loan it's my last month of payment but I told them I believe I paid more than enough on my loan, Citi branch XXXX called the loan department they talk and suggested to me to pay the last payment and if there is something wrong or they maid a mistake they will refund it to me, so I paid that day XX/XX/XXXX, then i ask regarding those multiple payments that i paid where did it go, from the loan department said they can not see it on my file because it's more than a year but we can request it and it will available after XXXX hrs. Then I went back to the branch XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX the XXXX called them and was able to talk to someone from the loan department her name is XXXX so he handed me the phone to talk to her and I was asking about the multiple payments that I made where did it go? And still no answer to it was given to me instead she said I will call you on Friday I will investigate on it. Friday comes no call from her until now. Then I send a certified mail on XX/XX/XXXX requesting my statements from the my loan start until my last payment, and I also ask on that letter about my multiple payments that I made but until now I didn't received any letter or call from them.
