I copies of the promotional bonus plan detailed in my Welcome Package as proof. These are attached to my complaint. Please contact Citi to payout the {$450.00} bonus that Ive earned.

Consumer Complaint: Dear Sir/Madam, This is a follow-up to my complaint against Citibank ( Case # XXXX ). I received a response ( dated XX/XX/2023 ) from Citibank claiming the wire which was initiated through XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2023 was was sent to XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX on XX/XX/2023. The letter ( Citi Reference Number : XXXX ) advised that if the money ( XXXX ) has not been credited to the beneficiary ( XXXX XXXX ), to reach out to XXXX using the reference number XXXX. Today ( XX/XX/2023 ) I called XXXX XXXX who confirmed they had not received the money. I also followed up with XXXX who claimed they had not received the money on XX/XX/2023 ( as claimed by Citibank ) or any day thereafter. XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX advised that I ask Citibank to provide a proof of payment ( beyond the reference number ). I followed up with Citibank ( Citi Executive Response Team ) on XX/XX/2023 and spoke to a representative who had investigated this case. The representative was courteous and professional, but he said he could not do much more other than advising that I continue following up with XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ( the same bank that states they have not received the wire ). Citibank also indicated they are unable to provide any additional proof of payment beyond the reference number. This is certainly unacceptable. I am of the view that Citibank has the ability to reach out to XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, with whom they have a professional relationship, to settle this issue and have my money returned to me. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Card was charged for something you did not purchase with the card
Consumer Complaint: I opened a new account with Citigroup and it has been nothing but a hassle to get the account working. It took about a month before I had a working card because they sent a card after they had already cancelled the card because I had not received it. The almost immediately there is a fraudulent charge for {$47.00} on XX/XX/30 with XXXX I reported it as a fraud and they initially reversed it and then reversed the credit because the merchant says the charge is legit. I have not gone to XXXX and have not even been in one of their physical stores in many years. When I tried to call Citi about their reversal of the credit all I get is hung up on before anyone speaks to me. The charge is fraudulent and per their customer agreement I am not responsible for fraudulent charges yet they refuse to permanently remove the charge and have not even provided me with the merchant 's response even though they say they have. I would like this charge permanently removed and this merchant permanently blocked from charging any of my Citi cards

Issue: Problem with a lender or other company charging your account
Subissue: Transaction was not authorized
Consumer Complaint: I filed a dispute with Citigroup banking regarding several transactions made on my account through XXXX that I had not authorized. Citibank immediately closed out my account which then prohibited any refunds that would be made from XXXX. For several months I've gone back and forth between XXXX and Citibank about the XXXX transactions to retrieve funds illegally taken from my account. Citibank informed me that they have closed out my dispute and did not side with me in regard to the transactions. I asked Citigroup for evidence of the investigation. months later I received a letter in the mail of login screenshots that were not legible to read. after calling them to ask for a better explanation I was told the transaction was outside of their timeframe for a refund. I then asked if the case could be escalated and if I could appeal reasoning or if they could point me in the right direction of where the timeframe policy could be located online. The agent then informed me to call a bank and they could further assist me. After searching for several hours through consumer manuals, disclosures, and regulations I could not find this stated anywhere in the illegal transaction timeframe policy. I then called a branch location on XX/XX/23 and the representative to was unable to assist me with finding this policy. Banks are misinforming customers of knowledge that do not exist. I am filing a complaint in hopes of further assistance with my case.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: I have a Costco Visa card with Citibank. On XX/XX/XXXX I was in XXXX XXXX when my card declined for my rental car deposit. This did not make sense, as I had paid off my card earlier in the month and should have had plenty of credit to cover the charge. I called Citibank and was told that my credit limit had been lowered that morning due to " derogatory information on my credit report ''. ( No notice of this change was sent to me until the following day, XX/XX/XXXX, via email. ) When I insisted that no negative entries existed on my credit report, I was told that I had late payments and to contact XXXX. Upon returning, I contacted XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and obtained the credit report attached. The XXXX representative ( and a supervisor I spoke to ) stated that there were no late or missed payments on my credit report, nor any other derogatory information of any sort. This was also confirmed by the copy of my XXXX report I downloaded that day ( attached ). My XXXX XXXX score with XXXX was XXXX on that day ( currently XXXX ). I then called Citibank and spoke to a representative and then a supervisor. I explained the situation, and was told that I would have to dispute any wrong information with XXXX. However, there was no incorrect information showing on my XXXX report, so there was nothing I could dispute with the credit bureau. I also pulled up Citi 's XXXX score page on my Visa account, and it showed that the XXXX score they were using was XXXX ( currently XXXX ) and that my score was reduced due to late or missed payments ( attached ). The supervisor I spoke to ( XXXX, employee ID XXXX ) stated that he would submit a review request to the Citibank credit department to investigate the discrepancy. As of today, XX/XX/XXXX, I had not gotten any response from Citi on this review, so I again called and spoke to a supervisor ( XXXX, employee ID XXXX ). XXXX stated that a review had been done and nothing had changed. When I asked why the Citi XXXX score page states that my score is reduced due to late or missed payments that XXXX does not show, XXXX said that I would have to dispute the information with XXXX. ( However, as stated, I can not dispute information that does not exist at XXXX. ) XXXX stated that Citi would not provide me any further information about where this derogatory information currently exists. Therefore, I am requesting that CFPB require Citibank to explain where they are obtaining erroneous information on " late or missed payments '' on my credit report.
