Consumer Complaint: Please see previous complaint # XXXX. Capital One has either stolen or is fraudulent in a sum of {$1.00} for a transfer that was taken out of my account but never received on the opposite side of the transaction. They have only reached out once for my XXXX account numbers, that is it. XXXX from capital one called. I returned his call on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX at XXXX. They have not contacted me any other time or in any other way. I gave XXXX this information and he said he would be in touch. Im exhausted from capital ones excuses. Why would I not want my money of {$1000.00} back. This issue is not resolved and will not be, until I get my money plus the interest that they would have charged me for this very lengthy time. XX/XX/XXXX!!!! please let me know how I can take further action on this matter and get my money without getting an attorney.

Consumer Complaint: I submitted disputes with XXXX and XXXX to have the account removed early via early exclusion. The creditor then updated the account status to only show that it was charged off and subsequently removed all late payments and on time payments. An account CAN NOT BE charged off if there were never any late payments. I have screenshots of previous reports. I have reached out to XXXX, XXXX, and Kohls ( capital one ). Capital one has said they are unsure why the payment history changed and are opening an internal investigation. This account is going to be falling off in XXXX and XXXX based on what dates each credit reporting agency has. I would ask that capital one or kohls please allow early exclusion of this as Im in the middle of a getting mortgage and the careless and frankly shockingly alarming error that Kohls ( capital one ) has made here has tanked my score by XXXX points for my regular XXXX score and almost XXXX points for my mortgage score. If they didnt want to approve it being removed early via early exclusion then they should have simply said that and not tried to fix something that wasnt broken in the first place. This is going to mess up my entire mortgage application and Id like this fixed by either putting the payment history back to what it was or by removing this account from my report all together. Im not sure if at this point putting the payment history back to what it was would even remedy the amount this has tanked my score.

Consumer Complaint: I have had my Capital One Mastercard for many years. I admit I have missed some due dates but I have never been 30+ days over making a payment. I have always paid either the amount due or a few dollars over the amount due but never less. I have been unfairly charged on my credit report of not paying {$10.00}. If I have paid the amount due on each bill, how am I short {$10.00}? They also have charged me a late payment fee which is fine because I have missed the due date, but this company can not charge me this fee and make me pay it as part of my balance. My balance consists of charges I made making purchases using the credit card. I pay my monthly bill based on those charges and my payment due should not include the late fee. That is not a charge I incurred during a purchase at a retailer when buying merchandise or services. They are making their customers pay these fees as part of their monthly payment due. They are also charging this fee when it is convenient. There have been times where I missed the due date but paid the bill before the next statement was cut and there was no late payment fee. This is inconsistent practices that the consumer should not have to bear the consequences for. Because of this practice, they unfairly marked my account as past due for 2 months and caused my credit scores to drop. My payment history has always been 100 % paid as agreed.

Consumer Complaint: I received an email saying that my phone number had been updated on my Capital One account. I forwarded the email to their Fraud department in accordance with their website. A few days later, I received a Capital One credit card in the mail which I did not apply for in any way. I called Capital One and told them the situation and asked that they immediately close the account. They finally agreed to close the account, but refused to tell me if any charges had been made so far. My fear was that the card info was being used for online purchases. Anyway, I don't know if charges have been made before I contacted them, or if I was sent this card as a deceptive practice performed by Capital One.

Consumer Complaint: This issue has become a life changing unfortunate event in our lives and we humbly request that this wrong be alleviated by reporting honest and truthful information on my credit file. Moved from Utah to Illinois at the time, and was coerced into applying for a Kohls card account to save on my purchase, against my better judgement went ahead and submitted the request and found out that the Kohls system could not process this request. Paid for my purchases with my personal credit card. Never received a bill from Kohls and did not expect one as I have never made a purchase using my Kohls account or Kohls card as I did not receive one. Ran my credit report and found {$1.00} in collections, which dropped my credit score significantly. Paid the {$1.00} immediately, dealing with Kohls has dropped my credit score on three different occasions for the {$1.00}. I am demanding that the amount of {$1.00} that was charged on a card be removed for late payment as I did not know that the {$1.00} was charged on my account. Spoke to customer service on several occasions and this issue is still not resolved. Please help us, as I served this county in the United States XXXX XXXX for 20 years, and the biggest set back is this false credit reporting made for {$1.00}. My wife enjoys shopping at Kohls and we do not want to put the Kohls company on our do not use list, or warn our fellow veterans to avoid Kohls as it could potentially destroy their credit report. Please help us correct this incompetent and unfair credit reporting practice.

Consumer Complaint: I have been a loyal capital one customer going on 6 years I have two credit cards with them I applied for an increase on XXXX rewards card in XXXX on 2022 and I got denied citing reasons of low credit utilization and that I had a recent returned payment on that card but it was due to mistake ordering online so I shouldnt be punished for that if I got approved for an increase I would spend more money at XXXX on a monthly bases Im asking that my XXXX rewards card ending in XXXX gets reconsidered for an increase to {$3000.00} also today I applied for a credit limit increase and got denied again for my capital one quick silver card because my credit utilization is too low the only reason its low is because once again my credit limit isnt high enough to spend what I would like to spend on a monthly basis if I got approved for more I would spend more thats why Im requesting an increase and I also dont know why Im being punished for paying card balances on time I thought capital one would reward me by increasing my limits so I can spend more I wish to have my quick silver ending in XXXX to be increased to {$5000.00}

Consumer Complaint: I have mailed all 3 credit bureaus certified mail an affidavit for account validation on XX/XX/2023 and mailed all 9 collection agencies below an affidavit for validation on XX/XX/2023 I asked them to provide documentation and write me back to mailing address about how I am the the debtor and show me all documentation as well as how they proceeded to verify this informations via certified mail, only 2 accounts got deleted and all the other accounts just continued to say they verified it was me and did not even contact me via letter through mail, they did it through XXXX and said they verified the debt without showing me any information or documentation on how they verified me as the debtor, I included copies of my social my license and an irs identity theft affidavit to each bureau and each collection agency and demanded paperwork or any kind of proof to show me how they verified the information and they couldnt even do that, these companies are not complying with the law and my rights nor is the credit bureaus, they decided to reach back out to me online through XXXX and just say it was validated and verified with no documentation and no mail back to my address, I have been demanding them to show me documents and how they verified me and they will not answer me nor show me any evidence of how they verified anything, I know my rights and I know that they are in the wrong by furnishing these accounts to the credit bureaus because these are not my accounts or my debt, they continue to Harass me and call me but wont do there job after I sent them certified affidavit letters of account validation, they continue to just say these debts are verified With no documentation when Im asking them thoroughly that they show me all the documents and how they proceeded to verify these accounts are mine, please help me because I am not only trying to repair my credit and do things the right and legal way and they continue to do illegal activities and not give me any type of explanation or documentation. CAPITAL ONE ( XXXX ) I have attached just the XXXX credit bureau affidavit but I did send the same affidavits to XXXX and XXXX, I am also attaching what capital sent me back via by mail with no documentation at all, Just simply says they verified the debt when I specifically asked for all the documentation and documents to show me how I am the responsible debtor, I also attached and irs fraud affidavit that I sent to the irs to them as well and capital one sent me 2 letters with no evidence or documentation as asked.
