Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I paid off the full balance on my Capital One Quicksilver card, ending in XXXX. Three days later, on XX/XX/2023, they charged {$43.00} in interest to the prior balance that had been paid off. It is important to note that when I paid off the balance, there was no indication that interest would be charged after the fact, or any notice of what that interest was so that I could have chosen to pay off the interest at the same time. I had an identical issue with XXXX, and when I spoke with their representative, they removed the interest charges. Today, XX/XX/2023, i called and spoke with a rep at Capital One and explained what had happened. I was placed on hold and ultimately told there was nothing they could do. I advised that there should have been an option to pay off the balance plus any accrued interest at the time i had made the payment and that there was no indication that any additional payment would be needed. I have several cards with Capital One, all of which were paid off on the same date and this is the only card that had interest applied thereafter. I am simply asking that they remove the interest charge, applied to a {$0.00} balance, of {$43.00}, regardless of when that interest accrued. If the policy is that this interest be paid, then the system should offer the option of including any accrued interest when you pay off your balance. The screen clearly stated that I was paying off my full balance when I made my payment of {$1900.00} on XX/XX/2023, and that was clearly inaccurate information and misleading.

I sent them a letter regarding the inaccuracies in my report such as the date of last activity, date opened, date reported, payment status etc. They took more than 30 days to complete the investigation and they claimed that they did a thorough investigation. However, when I checked my report, I did not see any changes made at all. The inaccurate information are still reporting. My rights have been violated numerous times. 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. Consumer Complaint: I opened an account with Capital One Auto Finance in XXXX and carried a relationship with them until XXXX of XXXX. I have made it a goal to make payments on time. There was a point in time where I had a mishap and unfortunately made a late payment in XXXX, I was affected tremendously by XXXX. Since then, and even before, I have always made timely payments. I am asking for a goodwill gesture based on the standing relationship I had with your company for 4 years. This one late payment is causing me extreme hardship. I am hoping that Capital One Auto Finance can submit a Universal data form ( AUD ) to the credit reporting agencies requesting that they remove the late payment in XXXX of XXXX. I have really enjoyed doing business with Capital One and a quick look over my account will show that I was always on time. I would greatly appreciate this goodwill gesture. Consumer Complaint: In review of my credit reports, I noticed that there was a " Charge-Off '' account for Capital One Auto. I contacted the creditor to request documentation on the " Re-Sale '' of the repossession of the vehicle. I received a letter from Capital One Auto stating a balance only but with no other documentation. ( See Attached ) I am trying to " Validate '' the said balance with what they are indicating is due. I ask specifically for information on what happened to the " collateral '', what did they receive as settlement, how much did the insurance company pay. I'm at a total loss of this balance and would like for Capital One Auto to provide me with " ALL '' documentation that pertain to this account. A simple letter does not suffice.

Consumer Complaint: There is a feature on the Capital One credit card that allows you to do virtual card purchases. Everyone has it even my husband. I have been using this feature for longerthan 4 years.I got on today to purchase my college transcripts andthe button was removed from my account. I called Capital One to find out what was going on and was told that the button was removed from my account because they were concerned about security and a bunch of other excuses. When I asked them why my account wasn't Frozen advising them i work in XXXX and also know aboutXXXX for my account and if they were concerned about security they started to back pedal and say it wasn't a security concern that they just had removed it from my account. I feel like I am being discriminated against since everyone else has the ability to use this. My husband still has this feature on his account so this is not some kind of privacy I was blatantly told this button was perfectly removed from my account and they will not give me an answer as to when I am going to get it back. They just tell me to check back from time to time. The other problem becomes that when I regenerate my virtual card numbers it ends the card before that. I can not end the card that I opened yesterday because they took away my ability to do that. I've talked to two senior-level people in this company and I advise the last one that I think that this is discrimination since everybody else has this ability but they have taken it away from me. It is not fair I have had a long and good standing account this Bank I currently hold over {$5000.00} and have never had a negative account.They advertise tremendously on their website and all over on my credit card page about this virtual card ability to be able to get a virtual card whenever I need it for the protection of my account and now they are doing things like this to people?

Consumer Complaint: The treatment that the consumer ( myself ) received from Koals charge card 's support team is simply unacceptable. Despite making multiple attempts to reach out for assistance, the consumer was repeatedly met with unresponsive and unhelpful representatives. To add insult to injury, when the consumer was finally able to get through, they were blocked and prevented from making a payment. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but also downright callous. The consumer was dealing with a XXXX diagnosis during a pandemic, which made their situation all the more difficult. A company like Koals charge card, which is entrusted with handling people 's finances, should have displayed compassion and understanding towards the consumer 's situation. Instead, they chose to exacerbate the consumer 's stress and XXXX. Furthermore, the refusal to provide payment receipts or proof of payment is a deeply concerning practice. It's essential for consumers to have documentation of their payments to protect themselves from potential disputes or issues with their account in the future. The fact that Koals charge card is not willing to provide this basic level of transparency is not only a violation of the consumer 's rights but also highly suspicious. It is imperative that the Consumer Finace Protection Bureau ( C.F.P.B. ) Investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to hold Koals charge card accountable for their actions. The bureau should send a strong message to Koals charge card and other companies like them that treating consumers with such disrespect and disregard will not be tolerated.
