Consumer Complaint: I submitted a dispute over a fraudulent charge via the phone. There was no place to do it online the person says that they submitted the dispute, gave me the credit because the charge was fraud. I ended up canceling the card because they do not have good buyer protection whatsoever and what a headache. It was just a dispute a fraudulent charge. Well, the person lied to me over the phone never even disputed the charge and was making anti-Semitic remarks. This company needs to be shut down.

Consumer Complaint: In trying to convert my credit card reward points to an external transfer partner, I'm being asked to go through a 2-step mobile authentication process. It asked for my cell phone number to send a verification code and then tells me my phone number is not on file ( it is ) and can not be used for verification. When I call CapitalOne customer service they say it's a know issue and they are working to resolve but they have no solutions.

I called customer service who told me the only way to change it was if a random offer was computer generated. I then escalated to the next level of customer service and had an incredibly rude conversation with that team member who refused to help and spoke to me rudely.
