Consumer Complaint: The same problem I had in XXXX I believe with Capital One failing to pay my bills after deducting the funds from my account is happening yet again. I set up bank bill pay through Capital One to pay {$210.00} to XXXX to pay my XXXX cable and internet bill. Payment was never received and they are threatening to cut off my service. The funds were deducted from my account XX/XX/XXXX, but Capital One is unable or unwilling to provide a receipt from XXXX showing that they paid XXXX. I asked on XX/XX/XXXX for Capital One to re-submit the payment. As of XX/XX/XXXX XXXX still shows zero payment and is still planning to shut off my service due to non-payment from my bank. When I call Capital One they can not provide confirmation that the payment was re-submitted as was agreed to on my XX/XX/XXXX phone call with them, and they still can not provide any proof of payment from my initial bill pay request from XX/XX/XXXX. Yet the funds have been deducted from my account. When I ask representatives on the phone today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) to please just pay the bill, all they say is that there is an investigation and can not pay the bill today. This same issue happened with my electricity payment in XXXX. Capital One will not help me pay my bill, even though they deducted the funds. I asked Capital One to join me and XXXX on the phone together on a 3-way call to resolve the issue, and the Capital One representative on the call today ( XX/XX/XXXX ), refused to take part in that call.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX of this year XXXX I had a dispute with Capital One over whether my account deserved a late fee. It was established that I did not deserve the late fee and it was refunded after the fact of me closing the account and being told on the phone that I would not be charged anymore service fees or late fees due to I closed the account I have paperwork stating I closed the account on XX/XX/2023. My account balance was below {$300.00}. Which was my credit limit. Capital One after they closed my account took {$40.00} out of my cash app account which I have yet to receive back because cashapp support will not do a proper investigation. My complaint is I have now been charged {$110.00} in extra fees from Capital One Oh my account which reports on my credit report. I was informed by Capital One over the phone that when my account was closed there would be no more fees or charges added. What was the point of closing my account if they're just still gon na continue to charge fees

Please call us at XXXX so I called and requested a supervisor, they said my account is going to be closed they chose not to do business with me anymore, and I said okay when will I receive my funds they told me they do not know, due to investigation once their investigation is over they will send me a check with my remaining balance, then I said how long will their investigation take, they said they do not know, I told them its XXXX and I really needed these funds to go XXXX shopping and pay bills so I had to tell my family and kids that we couldnt have XXXX this year due to this problem, I just want my funds to be here now.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased event tickets for a specific date, XX/XX/XXXX, which is a Wednesday. In reviewing the tickets it correctly shows XX/XX/XXXX but it can only be used on used on the weekend and holidays. I reached out to the company, XXXX, to have the ticket amended. They refused and said there are no refunds. This was a error with their system. I disputed the charge with Capital One who requested more information from me after they received a reply from the vendor. Information provided from vendor shows information from someone else and for a different activity. Capital One closed dispute and asked me to work with vendor. Vocher.pdf file shows ticket only good for fri, sat, sun or holidays, but only valid for XX/XX/XXXX making it useless Dispute Update XXXX file shows on page 6, the same information as the useless voucher. And page 7 shows information for a different customer and different activity

A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose.
