Consumer Complaint: I moved to a new state in XX/XX/2023 and in order to update my registration and get a new license plate, the DMV is requesting I have my loan agreement. I called capital one in XX/XX/2023 requesting this document. They said i t takes 7-10 business days to send. I waited the 10 business days with no sight of the document so I called back. The next person confirmed the first representative did not process the request and did it again ( restarting the 7-10 business day wait ) during this time my previous registration e xpired in XX/XX/2023 so this delay has caused me to drive with expired registration in an incorrect state. Another 7-10 business days passed and I still did not receive the document. I called back a third time and they said they will try to send again and to wait another 7-10 business days. It is now XX/XX/2023. There has been no urgency to assist this issue and when I called back a 4th time today to check on the status the gentlemen told me he didnt have access and hung up on me. I am running out of options and this delay is causing me to drive illegally due to the negligence of capital one.

I called to find out what is the balance for. come to find out it is due to an annual fee. I never got an email. she said sometimes they fall into spam. I told XXXX XXXX ID XXXX No this is not ok. look at my history I have never been late. what can we do to remove this from my credit report. I will gladly pay to have this removed and close my account as I have NOT used this card in a very long time! She said she could not do that. I told her ok let me do some things and get back to you. Can you help me? This is completely unfair. I have a great history with them in the past. Never late This is not right that due to an annual fee this is on my report. Consumer Complaint: This matter centers on a credit card I had with Capital One which I had paid off in XXXX. Some time later, I learned Capital One was reporting a balance owed. Cpaital One and I were in contact in XX/XX/XXXX about how to resolve the issue. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter via USPS regular mail from XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX ( see attachment # 1 ). This letter notified me of their intention to file suit against me, with no instructions or opportunity to discuss or remedy. This letter also informed me that XXXX XXXX XXXX are not legally licensed in California as debt collectors. The letter is not signed by an attorney, the name is crossed out and the name of XXXX XXXX is handwritten in the salutation. On XX/XX/XXXX, four days following receipt of their letter, I sent a validation notice response to XXXX XXXX XXXX via USPS Certified Mail. According to USPS tracking website, my letter was delivered and received by an individual at XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. ( See attached letter, USPS receipt for transmittal and USPS tracking printout confirming my letter delivered to an individual at XXXXXXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX attachments 2, 3 and 4 ). . My validation notice to XXXX XXXX XXXX sought validate information as provided for me as a consumer by the FDCPA. Specifically, 1 ) Verification of the creditor they claim to represent. 2 ) Validation of the basis for the debt. 3 ) Provide a copy of the last billing attempt by their alleged client. 4 ) Verify what payments may have been made since the last billing. 5 ) Verification that XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX have a debt collection license in the State of California. 6 ) Notifying them I disputed the debt. As of today, XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has not responded to my validation notice. Their failure to respond to me within 30 days is a violation of my rights as a consumer according to the FDCPA. Instead, they chose to file a complaint in Superior Court ( Superior Court of California , County of XXXX, Case # XXXX attached ) on XX/XX/XXXX. I was served at home in front of my wife and children. I consider this to be an attempt to intimidate, harass and coerce me into paying an unverified debt they are not licensed to collect. As required, I have filed my response to my to their complaint on XX/XX/XXXX ( attached ). In addition to this response, I am filing complaints with the CFPB and Attorney General of the XXXX of California.

Consumer Complaint: I called Capitol one ( my credit card company ) and ask them if they could add my account information to XXXX Credit Bureau Agency so i can have a longer credit history on my XXXX credit report. Capitol One reply 's that I need to contact that credit bureau and have them add it on to my report. And I called Cap One and XXXX least 3 times Each and almost XXXX hours later, both parties claim that there's nothing more on their end they can do. My question to cfpm is what can i do on my part to get my Cap One credit card info on to my XXXX credit report? i have excellent payment history gone unnoticed and 11 years of great credit payment history. Please advise

Consumer Complaint: I am seeking your assistance to have Capital One Bank refund the amount of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX ( {$1100.00} ) plus interest that I have paid to my account. The amount is for unauthorized transactions made on my credit card. The bank has refused to refund my money claiming that their research found insufficient evidence of fraud. This claim is unfounded because my credit card is always with me, and I never used it or gave it to anyone else to make any of these purchases. These transactions are completely outside of a spending pattern that I have maintained for the past XXXX years, additionally the spending pattern ( please see attached ) is synonymous with fraud. I called Capital One on XX/XX/2023 and requested the time of day that these transactions took place as well as evidence showing that the XXXX chip on my credit card was used. Capital One also refused to provide me with this information. Capital One is trying to evade their responsibility of being negligent for allowing these transactions to be charged to my credit card. They should be held accountable for their negligence.
