Consumer Complaint: I took my car to one stop automotive to rebuild the transmission in the car and when I came to pick up the car and drove it home I noticed the car was leaking transmission fluid and the transmission fluid pan and gasket and filter and the drain valve were all NOT replaced as agreed with one stop automotive. I paid XXXX dollars with my capital one card ending in XXXX. I towed the car back to one stop automotive bur all he did is put silicon on the pan valve and that is unethical and unprofessional and not as we agreed. The transmission in the car now DOES NOT shift at all and the transmission is still broken and one stop automotive did NOT repair the car as agreed and did NOT rebuild the transmission as agreed and did NOT replace the transmission fluid pan or the gasket or the filter and the car leaked all the Transmission fluid out. Now the car is NOT driving and the transmission does not shift and its broken. So the repairs that I agreed with the shop auto stop automotive to do and rebuilding the transmission were NOT done so I was charged XXXX dollars for repairs that were never done on my car. So I disputed the charge with capital one credit card and until now its not resolved in my favor as it should be. I want capital one to give me a permanent credit for XXXX dollars because I never received the services for that money and the repairs were NOT done as agreed and the transmission was not rebuilt as agreed. So I did not get the repairs for the money I paid. Capital one needs to resolve this dispute to my favor and give me a permanent refund and credit for XXXX dollars. The disputed case with capital one card is XXXX. I did not receive the repairs I paid for and the transmission is not shifting and not working and one stop automotive gave me a one year warranty which they are NOT honoring and they are not refunding my money and NO repairs as agreed were done to the car

Consumer Complaint: I ordered native XXXX jewlery on line, charged to my Capital One Credit Card ending # XXXX, upon arrival several items not in small box, {$790.00} total, i have disputed many times, hired an attorney XXXX XXXX who has written many letters to Capital One, I have continued to call, etc., c/c did refund the {$790.00} several times then reversed, there reasoning based in seller gave them two tracking numbers they said fron the USPostal Service , I investigated these two numbers & USP said No such tracking numbers was ever ran through their system, i have paperwork referring to my case since XXXX, XXXX, my credit score was dropped by 40 % because I refused to pay the {$790.00} I never received.Help please, I am XXXX & have worked hard to keep great credit.???? The sellers are showing a signature with initials XXXX, clearly not me, my name on the account is my maiden name, XXXX XXXX, ( married name is XXXX ). All documents to support were mailed by my attorney to Capital One, I was told on phone they received.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 a purchase was made from my account using my debit card in the amount of {$1900.00} and all it said on my statement was " ORDER COMPLETE XXXX TX. '' I keep a pretty good record of what I spend in my account and do know of any large purchases made, however this was not a purchase I made. I didn't discover this transaction until about a month later and panicked, immediately I called the bank, they cancelled my card and said they would investigate the charges. I had just gotten back from a trip around the time this occurred so before I balanced my ledger with all my receipts I thought a few other charges looked suspicious too and included those in my claim. My claim was denied on XX/XX/2022 stating there weren't any false charges. At that time I realized that the only charge that was fraudulent was the {$1900.00} and I called them back, asked why they denied my claim, I assumed it was because of the travel charges that were definitely mine and had those removed. They came right back and denied the claim again stating it was not fraudulent. I asked them for the name of the merchant so that I could try and contact them and get a refund through the merchant, but they could not provide me with anything other than what was on my bank statement " Order Complete XXXX, TX. '' I no longer have the same phone service so I can't tell you what dates I called on, but I called three more times asking again for the contact name and number of who the purchase was made from, all three times, one involving a supervisor, I was told the same thing, they didn't have that information. Why would a bank approve a charge that didn't provide the name of the merchant? They said that I made other big purchases so it was not outside of my normal spending habits. That is not a good reason to approve a charge or to say it wasn't fraudulent. I know exactly what I spend, especially any big purchases, but this was not one of those purchases. I did not spend {$1900.00} and I have XXXX recourse with the bank since Capital One won't investigate further or even provide me the name and number of the vendor when the purchase was made from.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem

Consumer Complaint: It's been over 30 days and the creditor, Capital One has not updated my information nor provided proof or documentation in regards to late payment. Capital One has not supplied this information and they must delete alleged payments on my credit report. Under Federal Law, they have 30 days to complete investigation. By failing to do so the items must be deleted as soon as possible. In XXXX around the first of the month. I wanted to make payment and was denied by Capital One 's new payment system and Capital One representatives. I was told to call back on XXXX XXXX to make a payment because there was no way for their system to take my payment because it is now outsourced to a third party. You can not pay when you want but when the days are best for their system? This is unfair and deceptive practices by Capital One taking advantage of people. Capital One is aware that someone is using my personal information for a bank account, that is not mine. There has been no communication or solution to someone fraudulently using my information and banking with Capital One.

Issue: Closing an account

Consumer Complaint: I first tried to close my account via telephone with Capital One in mid XXXX. I asked that the funds by send to my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX account which had an ACH / transfer relationship pre-established with the Capital One account. After a couple of weeks I noticed that the funds had not gone into my XXXX account and that the Capital One account did not appear closed. So on XX/XX/XXXX, I called Capital One and asked what happened. They told me that there was " a problem '' with transferring the funds to my other bank. Which was odd because the funds in the Capital One Savings Account were originally transferred from the XXXX account quite easily. But they never bothered to contact me or anything, they just stopped the process. So on XX/XX/XXXX, I also requested, again, that they close my account and send me a cashier 's check. Online the account is closed, but as of XX/XX/XXXX I have not received a check. I call them on XX/XX/XXXX and the representative tells me that the cashier 's check for over {$10000.00} was sent by regular postal mail. No tracking, no nothing. She tells me that she will have to " open a case '' which could take 3 to 5 business days. And that only then they will cancel the original check. Then they " may '' have to mail me, via post, an affidavit ( which I assume I will have to mail back ). More and more time. At that time it will take 7 to 10 business days to cut me a new check. Which will then be mailed again via regular mail, no tracking, no signature required. No chance for FedEx to get it to me right away since now it's been weeks and weeks and weeks I've requested my money- which is over {$10000.00} and quite a lot to me. I absolutely do not believe they original check has been cut and sent. I have never had problems receiving my mail at my location. New credit cards, important checks. Anything. Capital One needs to resolve this and send me money in the fastest way possible.
