Consumer Complaint: Capital one has previously responded to my inquiry regarding the account be closed and the checks bouncing back, now today the XXXX of XXXX I recieve a email at about XXXX that the check has been deposited, the same check that had bounced back. Doesn't make sense my account was closed and I can't access anything on my account and I need answers to this. I left previously on your voicemail many voicemails to get me a call back and nothing or anything has called. I need answers towards if that deposit was made and my missing money on my account and when will I receive that funds left in my account, because capital one is stealing my money right now, I have pictures and proof of the emails and deposits and I will attached to this complaint. I need answers, and please respond to my complaint accordingly, Account number XXXX Don't know why banks are like this and always fail to provide answers and we have to go to this extreme. I'll be waiting for a response.

Consumer Complaint: Hello I wanted to sell a dress only which I had listed in XXXX XXXX for {$590.00}, I seen someone who you would think is a real person to my thought this fraudulent sick person made it seem so real, he sent me emails & it looked so real after me sending {$300.00} via XXXX, XXXX sometimes asks are you sure this come be a scam before sending something along those lines of course i wanted to sell the dress & i sent {$300.00} without knowing minutes later this man kept the money asked me for {$600.00} i said no & searched up the scammed which is daily XXXX scams online on XXXX XXXX who are scammers who hack into people accounts. Capital one Bank took 10 days to tell me my claim was DENIED .. XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Last month I applied online for a Capitol One Savor credit card and was instantly approved. I used the card for one month. When setting up online bill payment to pay my first bill, and after linking my personal checking account to Capitol One 's portal, I discovered that a fraudulent cellphone number was pre-populated into my account and made primary. Unbeknownst to me, Capitol One said that in 2020 a fraudulent application was made in my name for a XXXX 's credit card, and was denied. However Capitol One migrated this fraudulent cellphone number into my new account, and set it as primary - meaning that it would be the one used to make all changes to my new, non-fraudulent account. I was unable to delete it myself. Ultimately Capitol One deleted the fraudulent number. However my complaint relates to the process that allowed this to happen. I request that this agency follow up with Capitol One to ensure this process is changed, as this automatic upload of a fraudulent cellphone number put my personal and financial info in jeopardy.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 Kohls contacted me via telephone state I owed {$140.00}. Arrangements made to waive late fees if I paid the balance {$80.00} that would bring accout to zero balance. I paid using by debit card. XX/XX/XXXX I received a statement in the mail showing I owed {$72.00}. I called immediately and spoke with agent XXXX who reassured me that they would take care of it. On XXXX XXXX I received a phone call from Kohls stating that I now owed {$72.00} plus late fee of {$40.00}. I explained to the agent in detail the situation. I was placed on hold for over an hour. During that hour I would get a message stating to continue to hold and then I was able to left a message to unknow agent. I called back on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to agent XXXX who once again stated this would be zeroed out. I receive calls at least three to five times a week. I just received another statement stating I owe late fees of {$41.00}. which a dollar is interest they are charging for the late fee. I would like to add they contact me demanding money prior to the due date on their statement. I have two of their agents ( unknown ) argue with me about what I owed.

Consumer Complaint: I went to a XXXX XXXX in the XXXX called XXXX XXXX. Upon my arival the pool was green and missing chunks of marcite. I than said lets go to the beach the beach was closed because XXXX XXXX was in port and they had exclusive rights to the beach. we then proceeded back to the holtel for dinner and found out that half the resturants were closed becaused due to lack of customers. this was a completely wasted trip I was totally disatified and let the manager know. I never signed the bill due to my disatifaction. The XXXX charged my card that I held the reservation with. i contacted and wrote my dispute to capital one sent them pictures of the green pool they said matercard does not except pictures in disputes lol this is totaly unexceptable!! people need to be responisble for there lack of effort to keep the property clean and running as per the advertisement. i am not paying for a vacation that i could not enjoy!!!!

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I called XXXX XXXX to accept a settlement that was offered to me in XXXX of 2023. I was told they could no longer settle the account because they started an active wage garnishment. I have two issues with this. I was never provided a summons by this company so I was unaware of any judgements against me. The company claims a summons was handed directly to me, this is not correct. I would like proof of delivery. I spoke with this company many times and was trying to negotiate a settlement. I offered {$1000.00} and was told the client Capitol One refused to accept this offer. I was never once advised during my conversations with the company that my account was going to be submitted for garnishment if action wasn't taken. I had advised the company I had {$1000.00}, If I was properly advised the status of my account I would have figured out a way to come up with the extra money quicker. Since I was never properly informed of the intended action taken on this account, I was forced, or bullied, into paying the full balance plus an additional {$30.00} to wire transfer payment. This was the only way to prevent garnishments. It seems very deceptive that a settlement was available 2 weeks ago, but now there is no way for them to accept a settlement.

Consumer Complaint: To whom this may concern, I sent a letter to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX concerning the inaccurate information reported on my credit report by your company. I have sent a letter to each of the bureaus and the account came back verified by YOUR COMPANY. I want to know : how did you verify this inaccuracy? I have attached a letter to express of discontent. Your company is in violation of Section 611 ( a ) ( 5 ) ( A ) ( i ). By publishing these inaccurate and unverified items on my credit report and distributing them to 3rd parties you are damaging my reputation and credit worthiness. Under the FCRA 15 U.S.C. 1681i, all unverified accounts must be promptly deleted. Therefore, if you are unable to provide me with a copy of the verifiable proof with my wet signature that you have on file for each of the accounts listed below within 30 days of receipt of this letter then you must remove these accounts from my credit report. Also, under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. 1681g I have the right to demand that you disclose to me all of the documents that you have recorded and retained in your file at the time of this request concerning the accounts that you are reporting in my credit report. Please dont respond to my request by saying that these accounts have been verified. Send me copies of the documents that you have in your files that were used to verify them. Ive done research on the XXXX and pacer system and unfortunately thats not efficient enough. It doesnt have my wet signature. Attached : A complaint letter, copy of my Social Security Card, a copy of my FTC report and Drivers License is attached for proof of identity
