Consumer Complaint: Deposited {$500.00} on XX/XX/XXXX from my XXXX checking account through ACH debit Deposited a {$30000.00} check on XX/XX/XXXX at Capital One ATM branch at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, XXXX branch Current Online checking deposit shows the amount of {$30000.00} balance including interest paid by the bank On or about XX/XX/XXXX, I tried to call the number the bank gave online which is XXXX because the bank says that there is a problem with my deposit. I requested to speak with a bank representative on that number but the automated call only instructed me to leave my number and they are going to call back. The bank never called back and I repeatedly called them with the same result. Alarmed, I went to the bank ATM branch at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to directly speak with their branch representative in person. The bank rep was able to finally get hold of the banks rep and the bank rep told me that they have decided to close out my checking account and that they will send me a check. It's been almost a month now and I have not received the check yet from my closeout account.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX : I called Capital One to request a replacement card. They said they needed a copy of a state or Federal ID. I sent them a scanned copy of my drivers license. XX/XX/XXXX : Hadn't heard anything. I called and they said they needed both the front and back of the license. I sent them the scanned front and scanned back on same page. XX/XX/XXXX : Hadn't heard anything so I called again. They said they couldn't accept a scanned copy of a copy ( front of license ). Were supposed to send me a download link. Didn't.. XX/XX/XXXX : Called them again and got link. Sent scanned copy of passport and VA ID. XXXX XXXX : Again, hadn't heard anything so I called again. This time they said that Passport and VA ID were not acceptable forms of ID even though the download link states that either Federal or State ID is acceptable. I resent drivers license. XX/XX/XXXX : Hadn't heard anything so I called again. This time they said the photo on my Federally isues ID wasn't clear enough and wanted me to resubmit. I tolf them I was filing a complaint. No communication from them since.

Consumer Complaint: Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Please allow this letter to be the explanation for my complaint : I pre-ordered some products with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. There are two orders which the amounts are {$190.00} and {$290.00}. The expected delivery date for both orders was XX/XX/XXXX ( see attached file for proof ). When I received the items, I was not satisfy with them, so I returned them on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX emailed me to confirm receipt of the items back and promised to refund me within 5-7 days ( see attached file for proof ), however, I never see the refund for the {$190.00} order and was only partially refunded the amount of {$190.00} for the {$290.00} order. Therefore, I contacted Capital One on XX/XX/XXXX to open disputes regarding these two transactions, submitted documentations through the link they emailed me. The dispute case number for the {$190.00} order is XXXX and the case number for the {$290.00} order is XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, Capital One responded me with a letter saying they have 60 days since receiving the statement that shows the disputed charge to reverse a charge on my account. According to the Fair Credit Billing Act, I believe my cases are still within the timeframe for dispute to be open within 60-120 days from the order date or delivery date ( whichever comes after ).

Consumer Complaint: I deposited a check for XXXX at a Capitol One atm on XXXX that I received from my apartment building for my security deposit. After I deposited this check I got an email from Capitol One that my check would be delayed until XXXX. I called Capitol One twice on XXXX and was told that the only way to get this check before XXXX and even then is not guaranteed would be to submit an Authorization of Endorsement letter that is notarized and signed by both my apartment building and myself. They first told me that this was because my account is at risk of withdrawal, then they said its because they dont know that the bank that issued the check ( XXXX XXXX ) has the funds, then they said is was because I had never deposited a check from this company, and then on my second call they said it was because this check has another party written on it and so it has to be delayed. The bank couldnt give me a straight answer as to why this check would be delayed for two whole months, something that has never happened to me before.

Consumer Complaint: I am complaining about Walmart and the capital one Walmart rewards card. I made a purchase online through walmart.com with the Walmart rewards card by capital one on XXXX XXXX. They charged it, the item was shipped, then on the XXXX they put a charge against the card again for the same amount. I only ordered one item, one time- but they charged twice. This is not the first time its happened, it happens quite frequently. And then I have to work the phones and waste my time to try to get them to fix it. I call capital one they say its a Walmart problem. I call Walmart. They say its a capital one problem. No one will fix it, so I want to know what I can do about this because its ridiculous that they keep double charging me for things that I order when I patronize them, I think its a type of fraud and theres no telling how many times they do this to people that havent caught it and theyre getting rich off of ripping people off something needs to be done.

Consumer Complaint: This creditor engaged in abusive, deceptive, and unfair practices of the FDCPA which it prohibits. According to 15 USC 1666b it is a billing error I did not receive a statement 21 days before the late payment error. If finance charge included, there should be no late payments pursuant 15 USC 1605 ( a ) due to finance charge bring sum of all charges so I can not be penalized for something that is already paid in full.

Consumer Complaint: I bought a new ( used ) truck in XXXX of XXXX and had an accident that resulted in the vehicle being totaled out by the insurance company. Capital One was the finance company. In XXXX of XXXX I got a bill stating the payoff balance was {$200.00} and the payoff was good through XXXX. I paid the {$200.00} on XX/XX/XXXX before the payoff expiration date, and it cleared my XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX account on XX/XX/XXXX. I received a " PAID IN FULL '' notice from Capital One on XX/XX/XXXX. Then, on XX/XX/XXXX, I got a new bill from Capital One with a new payoff balance and payoff date. Capital One can not keep adding a balance to my account. XXXX paid them off and now they have reported to the credit agencies I never paid my bill which is incorrect and I want this resolved. I disputed this with XXXX, XXXX and XXXX and XXXX far XXXX, despite the supporting factual documents I have submitted, has not changed any of this info on my credit report. I need help fixing this.
