Consumer Complaint: Capital one advertises price drop protection as a benefit for my venture x card but when a flight I booked through their travel portal price dropped within their 10 day period, they failed to honor the price drop protection. They said that feature was not available on my reservation. No where during the booking process or on their website advertising their benefits do they say it is not always available. They are lying about this feature and do not always offer it.

Consumer Complaint: Hello! I contacted CapitalOne on Monday, XX/XX/XXXX to request an increase to my credit limit. I've held the card for several years, keep a low balance, have not had any late payments for several years, there are zero derogatory marks on my credit report and I maintain XXXX ( XXXX ) and XXXX XXXX XXXX ) FICO scores. CapitolOne responded to this request with a letter that stated : " A credit limit increase is currently not available upon request because Capital One is evaluating account activity at assigned credit limits. '' The letter went on to state there was a further explanation for the decline supplied on a supplemental page however no further context for this specific reason was listed on the supplemental page. When I called CapitalOne to inquire for the reason of the decline the agent said they could not help me and directed to refer back to the letter for guidance. This has created a circle with no accountability or recourse for someone who has been a good customer for several years. I am making a simple request and I don't understand why there is no information or transparency.

I had reported to the credit card company that my identity was stolen and I even told them that I wasnt financial stable to pay to receive a police report and I also explained this to a representative the representative told me to find a job so I could pay to get a police report at the time I was going through a XXXX XXXX. The company showed no remorse and continued to call about the debt I wasnt aware about.until the frequency phone calls early in the mornings

Consumer Complaint: From approximately XXXX to XXXX I was issued a Visa card from Capital One Bank. After making multiple payments I was notified of a Credit Limit increase. Approximately a month after the increase, the card was cancelled by bank. The reason cited was useage not meeting family standards ( paraphrased ). At the same time my Kohls Credit Card was also cancelled by bank with the same reason. I only made purchases on both cards of normal merchandise, gasoline, lodging, etc, I contacted both Capital One and Kohls. I got no explanation from either. I even reached the Capital One Executive Office. About a year later, Capital One issued a new Visa Card. That card was cancelled almost immediately with the same reason given. My Walmart card was also cancelled with same reason. All cards were in good standing and being used appropriately by only me. Credit Limits were about {$800.00} for Visa, {$300.00} for Kohls, and {$100.00} for Walmart. Due to the ambiguity of the reason, its repeated use in cancellation letters, and the lack of transparency by Capital One I did not feel fairly treated.

Consumer Complaint: I recently checked my credit report and notice a balance of {$600.00} reported by your company. It was the balance of the car loan minus what GAP insurance should have paid. I called your company and told them I didn't owe the balance. They said they didn't pay it because they thought I had a dui. The case was thrown out, I was never convicted of this dui. I sent a fax of my court documents to prove this. This account still appears on my credit report. I need this balance payed at once, and it removed from my credit report, or you are civilly liable according to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act for willful noncompliance.

Consumer Complaint: Capital One continues to try and XXXX me in commerce by denying to settle the account. I have provided payment yet they refue to apply payment to the account. WHY?! Capital One knows they report negative responses to credit bureaus and therefore it destroys my ability to obtain credit. The problem with this is that a credit report does exist, there is no negative responses on my credit report, I am the creditor the United States is borrowing from yet XXXX XXXX continues their financial slavery, XXXX me commercially, murdering me financially to the point I can not obtain my constitutional rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. What is Capital one 's reason for continuing to disriminate against me and damaging my credit. How can I live if I can not find a place because I am denied credit? How can I live if I have no utilities because I am denied credit? WHy does the government continue to allow these criminals to get away with these deceptive practices and damage the american public. YOU WORK FOR US! WE EMPLOY YOU! YOU NEED TO START DOING THE JOB WE PAY YOU TO DO AND PROTECT CONSUMER RIGHTS!

I requested not to renew my CD due to mature on XX/XX/XXXX. thus to ebable me to withdraw my money without any problems. The bank ignord my order, and renewed the XXXX for another 24 months with 0 % interest. As I needed the money, I had no alternative but to fly from XXXX especially for that purpose with a lot of my health problems and walking with a stick. On XX/XX/XXXX I arrived to the bank, and was served very nicely by the representative ( XXXX. ). She agreed to give me my money immediately, but only after deducting XXXX $ as " penalty '' and paying me XXXX ( zero ) interest from XX/XX/XXXX. The XXXX was due to mature just XXXX months later. that is on XXXX penalty consist 2.88 % of the total saving balance! Despite my agony and frustration, the representative could not help me, as her XXXX or back office, ahe spoked to on the phone, refused to wave the penalty.
