Consumer Complaint: I deposited a mobile check into my account of {$600.00}, account said it would process by the end of the day, when I had checked up on my account the deposit said it wouldnt be ready till XX/XX/XXXX. I have called capital one, the bank I am using to see about an early release. They said to call today, XX/XX/16 and do an early release. When I called today they told me my account and the check werent under the same name. When I checked, the account and check both had the same name. Due to the companys mistake of not putting my first last name my card only has one of my last names. They told me they could not release the funds on the original date and that they could not cancel the check.

Consumer Complaint: I have been locked out of my banking application profile for about 3 week to a month now. They display an erroneous information on their website, saying that it will be resolved after 24 hours, however this does not happen. I have called the customer care line repeatedly with no luck ; they end up transferring me to many departments and units with no resolution in sight. As I write this I am on a call with them for over, and the duration is 1hour 9 minutes. Unending calls where I keep getting transferred to different departments and they keep asking the same questions. As a result of this lockout, I can not transfer funds, nor manage my credit card account.

Consumer Complaint: I had bought a TV from Walmart and the 3rd party company XXXX with my Capital One Bank Card. The thing is that I want to return the merchandise do to being the wrong TV. I contacted Walmart and Capital One to open dispute and return the item. Capital One told me to wait for XXXX XXXXs to contact me within 48 hours and that they was a case XXXX XXXX. That they were going to fix the issue. I have been emailing the 3rd because they never called or send me the label for the return. Now Capital One tells me that the case is close and all I am asking is for a refund and return TV. XXXX XXXX told me that the case was close as well, they never called or emailed me back. Need to know if something can be done.

Consumer Complaint: This complaint is about Capital One and XXXX XXXX not protecting their customers. I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX online for {XXXX. My friends received the gift card but could not use it because XXXX XXXX XXXX closing its local stores and started not accepting XXXX XXXX online either. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX and no one answered the phone. 1 ) I then called my XXXX XXXX Capital One, and explained the situation that the card I received can not be used anywhere and it is worthless so I asked for my money back and filed a dispute for them to reverse the charges. They credited my acc and said will get back to me. 2 ) Then, Capital One recharged my acc and sent me a letter saying that the merchant said I received the gift card. I called them back frustrated and told them that I didn't say I didn't receive the card, the card was received but it can not be used so they sold me a gift card for XXXX which is worthless and they don't pick up their phones. Capital One XXXX XXXXXXXX looked at the original complaint and said he saw that I was complaining about the card not being usable not that it was not received but he still told me that they have a " process '' that they follow as well as XXXX XXXX. The Capital One card I have is from XXXX XXXX. I argued that the process does not make sense because the gift card received does not work. He then made me send Capital One a signed letter with a bunch of information, and proof of purchase as if they don't see it on my credit card. So I explained the original story briefly on that signed letter and sent it to them with a copy of an email received from XXXX XXXX XXXX as proof of purchase showing the details of the transaction. Capital One credited my account again and said they will get back to me. 3 ) Capital One got back to me again with a third letter saying they may charge the XXXX back to my account again if I don't send another letter responding to their ridiculous demands like sending a sales invoice or purchase agreement which I just sent them the proof of purchase. More ridiculous demand was for me to get a " Second opinion on company letterhead from another merchant in the same field stating specifically what the original merchant did incorrectly etc. " so they are telling me to go find another company like XXXX XXXX XXXX and ask them to give me their opinion on this problem on their company letterhead what XXXX XXXX XXXX made wrong etc. Who in the world with the right mind would ask that! XXXX XXXX XXXX simply sold me a gift card that can not be used and worthless for XXXX and I just asked for my money back! A child can understand this but Capital One and XXXX XXXX seem they can not or the people working for them! My conclusion from filing this dispute with Capital One is that : a ) Capital One and XXXX XXXX made their dispute process ridiculously terrible to discourage their customers from filing disputes. b ) Capital One and XXXX XXXX are not protecting their customers who use their credit cards but they protect the merchants. c ) I understand and value more how XXXX protects its customers because I had XXXX dispute with them and it was nothing like the experience with Capital One and XXXX XXXX. d ) I will not refer anyone to Capital One or any XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I reached out to capital one regard a dispute for a charge to a merchant where services were not performed as described. I jumped through their hoops and provided all the details need and requested. Specifically they asked for an invoice I advised them that the service is not typical you would get an invoice for example for you a barber hair stylist or nail salon. Youre not given they said based on that information. I was given the task of also locating a stylist in the same area of work and getting a second opinion on company letterhead. I tracked down a stylist willing to create a letterhead for the whole purpose of assisting me with this issue. I have explained to them over and over for the service and experience its not a typical transaction and that I things arent as black and white and I cant produce an invoice. Ive been advised to contact the merchant and request an invoice. However Ive explained that the merchant has blocked me from communicating with them and has hung up on attempted calls etc. Im being advised to produce all this documentation and prove all these things when Im working with limited abilities as the charge is from an unprofessional merchant who doesnt cooperate and has blocked my ability to communicate. Capitalone has made this experience extremely difficult to deal with and has hid behind guidelines and rules when it seems that Ive done everything to prove to them the charge should in fact be disputed. I found out later on the stylist is not licensed and doesnt have business licenses or permits to even be operating the business.
