Capital One Auto Finance XXXX, has violated several of my rights. 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. Clearly states that I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C 1681 section 604 A section 2 : It also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. 15 U.S.C 1666B : A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open-end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose. Remove these late payments and update this account immediately as you are in direct violation of several laws under The Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Consumer Complaint: I had an disputed balance Capital One refused to investigate in XX/XX/2023. I paid the account in full and closed the account because of this after being a loyal customer over XXXX. Days later They re-posted the disputed amount of {$1300.00}. I paid it off and then they added late fee {$25.00}, which was waived due to my payment history. 30 days later, they add another {$4.00} special interest fee, then charged XXXX cent, then another late fee. I was told on each occasion the small amount would get waived, but then they charged another {$5.00} late fee on {$4.00} balance and refused to honor what last CSR said. Now the " closed '' account state I owe {$9.00} and appears they are refusing to settle the account which is threatening my credit rating. The last person I spoke to refused to credit the account and told me, the credit I was promised, was not guaranteed.

Consumer Complaint: Have had my Capitol One card for two years and have tried three times to get a credit increase and was denied due to a lame excuse of too low a payment which set. I feel like this is a lame excuse esecially when if has not been late. Have tried talking to them but no one will listen just said pay it in full or increase payment. If I didn't need an increase I wouldn't have asked for one.

Consumer Complaint: I have a credit card account with Capital One. I made a minimum payment of XXXX and was told my account would remain restricted although this amount according to Capital One made the account current. I was informed by XXXX ID # XXXX that the account will remain restricted for 3 months and I was enrolled in a program to monitor my progress with making payments for the next 3 months. Capital One never made me aware that once you bring your account current that you would still be restricted from using the account. XXXX was very rude, refused to escalate my call and refused to give me information on how to escalate my complaint. My account is in good standing but is still restricted. There is nothing in any correspondence sent from Capital One that informed me of this program. I never agreed to be enrolled in the program after the payment was made. I would like for my account to be unrestricted for use immediately. I have credit available but they are denying me access.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I called to cancel my capital one venture x credit card ending with XXXX to get my annual fee fully refunded. The representative helped me say I will get my annual fee back because I was within their time limit. The representative confirmed my annual fee charged time. The representative also explained how long the refund would take. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called again to follow up on my refund process. The representative also assured me that she would escalate the case and I would get my money back because it was within 40 days. She confirmed my annual fee charge time and card closure time. However, on XX/XX/XXXX, I was told that after review, I would not get my annual fee back because I closed my account 42 days after the annual fee was charged. I was misled by two of the representatives and left without a product to use and paid a whole year of {$390.00} annual fee. I demand to get a refund of my annual fee and ask capital one to not making customer to paid for their lack of coaching on their employee.

On XX/XX/23 XXXX placed a {$48.00} authorization hold on my Walmart Capital One credit card, with final charge at {$44.00} for grocery delivery. Instead of using charge to replace authorization as promised, Walmart double dipped essentially freezing {$92.00} for a {$45.00} purchase!!!!!!!!!!!! Capital One & Walmart robbed me & sent me to each other. Both companies extended purchase date to XX/XX/23 in a fraudulent attempt to make correction go beyond statement closing date of XX/XX/23 to falsely generate over the limit fees.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I scheduled to have a company come out to conduct a specific service. They showed up collected my information and said they needed to leave to get equipment to do the service. Long story short they never came back and I tried resolving this with the company over the phone but they refused to come to the work as outlined on our predestinate. When I saw a charge show up on my card I filed a dispute with my credit card company. When My credit card denied my dispute the first time they told me I need more information on XX/XX/2023. I wrote down everything they said I needed and after investigating the matter further I found the company took my digital signature off my pre-estimate and applied it to a charge receipt. I filed a police report and reached back out to capital one informing them of the new information. Capital One gave me wrong information through out the process on how to handle this dispute then denied my dispute. They protected the company committing the fraud and not their customer. They told me to take it up with the police or other means. I find this to be criminal on their part as well for facilitating this criminal activity by doing nothing.
