Consumer Complaint: Since XX/XX/XXXX I have been going back and forth with capital one and XXXX about a missing account that was affecting my account and hindering my life. There is inaccurate and missing information on my credit report but ONLY with XXXX. I have a capital one credit card with a limit of {$6700.00} since 2017 and it is not being accounted for on my account which is affecting my score and my credit utilization percent drastically. I have notified both of them and both companies have been telling me different things and putting the blame on one another. They told me they are reporting my information to every credit bureau and it is not a fraud account. I was told to write a letter and provide information to proof I was who I was multiple times and even when disputed they have stated that my issue has been resolved but the issue is still not resolved. I was then told today, XX/XX/XXXX by XXXX that there is nothing that they can do that this is a capital one issue even though I have a written letter from capital one stating they are reporting to all three credit bureaus.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: I filed multiple credit card disputes against a merchant who falsely identified himself as a Licensed General Contractor and scammed me for over {$100000.00} for work he never rendered or completed ( Only a portion of this was on Credit Cards I also paid cash and sent XXXX Payments ). I filed disputes with Capital One to try to have the payments returned for the services which were not performed. I filed the disputes but was told incorrect information by Capital One employees the entire time. Every time I call in I receive incorrect or conflicting information. I was told by one person " Not to submit too many documents because the caseworker is busy land will get overloaded '' I was also told that after the merchant responds that as long as I respond with any documents, the dispute will be sent back to the merchant/visa. I responded with a lot of documents, which I was lead to believe were adequate, and Capital One sent me a letter saying they can not assist with the dispute and that they're closing the dispute. I asked what the correct documents to upload were or what was wrong with my documents and I have not been able to receive a direct answer. This was extremely important to me and Capital One told me conflicting information again and again. I also was told that if I respond to the merchants response with more documents that I would receive a new deadline with additional time to upload documents, if Capital One decides they need more documents. I was later told this is incorrect and that I will need to upload additional documents by the original date, even if I upload documents and more documents are requested.

Consumer Complaint: 1. On XX/XX/2024, I pulled my credit report and discovered how Capital One Auto Finance has been furnishing my income and transaction history, to credit reporting agencies. Per the Internal Revenue Service, " charge-offs '' are considered taxable income and my income is non-public personal information that Capital One Auto Finance has furnished without my written or oral consent to the unauthorized agencies/non-affiliates XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. Those entities are 3rd party companies. 2. Due to the said actions of Capital One Auto Finance, I have faced socioeconomic discrimination in regard to credit transactions and I have been injured by their furnishings ( my non-public personal information provided to a financial institution ) of the respondent. Pursuant to 15 USC 1681b Permissible Purposes ( 2 ), the respondent was never granted written consent. If in any way the respondent was granted written consent, it was granted to the respondent by way of extrinsic fraud and I the consumer rescind the respondent 's authority. Consumer Complaint: When I applied for my credit card, I never wanted paperless statements. I am XXXX and not use to paperless bills. I would not have requested it, but for some reason it was set to that. I called in to check on my payment, I have only had the card for 2-3 months and learned it was paperless. Which I asked to change. I also found out I incurred late fees, but I think only one was removed. Also, I asked if I had received a negative credit reporting bc of the late payment and the person said they do not have that information. I am surprised that the representative would not know.
