I was unable to check in this Hotel due to XXXX XXXX XXXX. Once I was informed of the cancellation. I tried calling the Hotel and was not successful in cancelling my reservation due to it being booked by a Third Party which is XXXX. I contacted XXXX and was informed that they contacted the hotel regarding my request, however, they did not obtain approval to provide a refund. Request numberXXXX. I contacted Capital One and provided them the call logs, copy of sale receipt, Merchants Documentation and XXXX XXXX notice. They also declined to remove the charges from my credit card. The XXXX Representative checked that I decline a free Insurance Protection. Fraudulent Activity in itself. The amount was {$710.00}.

I been with capital one for years and now I'm getting treated horrible! I still some points to be used but they still don't want me to use them? this situation is being unfair. and I want the world and others to be aware of how capital one is treating their customers.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I paid an early withdrawal penalty to access a {$36000.00} CD. It was transferred to my Capital One Savings Account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I attempted to transfer the funds out of my Capital One account. By trial and error, my withdrawal was limited to XXXX. I attempted again on XX/XX/XXXX to transfer as much as possible out of the bank. This time, I was limited to {$10000.00}. I continued to attempt to move my funds with no online guidance of limits. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was limited to {$5000.00}. I finally called a customer service rep and was told I was limited to {$25000.00} in transfers per calendar month. I attempted to move money out on XX/XX/XXXX and could not do so. Thus, I paid an early withdrawal penalty on my CD and can not access the money I paid a penalty to access.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2022, I sent Capital One several endorsed bills to accounts XXXX and XXXX. I sent XXXX more endorsed bills in XXXX and XXXX. Per the card agreement, Capital One does accept restrictive endorsements. Capital One took adverse action against me by closing every account down, and they never updated the account information even though they have received several endorsed bills paying the amount in full. The Bill Of Exchange Act gives me the right to endorse all bills. Capital One is violating 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ).

Consumer Complaint: I was denied a price match for reservations through Capital One 's travel portal. Despite meeting all criteria on the website ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ), the supervisor mentioned an unlisted policy excluding discounts on third-party sites and denied me the request. I feel unfairly treated, especially considering there is no mention of a discount policy even after conducting a XXXX search. While the supervisor acknowledged the absence of this information in the terms and conditions page, no action was taken to rectify the situation. When seeking assistance to escalate the matter, I was informed there is no higher authority available to speak with me. Despite the supervisor 's promise to take a note, no resolution or timeline was assured. This experience has not only resulted in a lack of clarity and financial loss but has also eroded my trust in my relationship with Capital One

Consumer Complaint: CAPITAL ONE is refusing to stop reporting on my two closed accounts after being charged-off. They closed my accounts because I submitted payment in full using negotiable instruments, which they kept and did not return to me. They also claimed there was unauthorized activity on my account, but would not tell me what the 'unauthorized activity '' was. WHEN AN ACCOUNT IS CHARGED-OFF IT BECOMES INCOME. I HAVE ALREADY PAID TAXES ON THOSE ACCOUNTS AND CAPITAL ONE KEEPS REPORTING THEM AS LATE ON MY CREDIT REPORT. THIS IS CAUSING ME A LOT OF HARM AND INABILITY TO OBTAIN CREDIT AT ALL. CAPITAL ONE IS VIOLATING THE PRIVACY ACT OF 1974, 5 USC 552 ( a ) BY REPORTING MY INCOME ON MY CREDIT REPORT. I HAVE NOT GIVEN THEM MY WRITTEN CONSENT TO DISCLOSE SUCH INFORMATION.
