XXXX also confirmed the TIMELY CANCELLATION with numerous chats and E-mail messages with " We're sorry to see you go '' and other statements of CONFIRMATION ATTACHED. Capital One FRAUDULENTLY claimed to have replaced their broken link to upload all of this documentation with another link and no such replacement link was ever delivered. Capital One phone reps say one thing and Capital One 's back office does another. Capital One FRAUDULENTLY claimed to have mailed a letter asking for the documentation that Capital One failed to take online, yet no letter was ever received.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/27 Capital One Auto Finance used my social security number for an extension of credit, because my social security number was used I received no benefit this is proof of fraudulent activity. Fraudulent activity is unauthorized use of a credit card on behalf of Capital One Auto Finance. I the consumer and natural person, was denied credit by Capital One Auto Finance when I applied for a vehicle. Adverse action against a consumer is AGAINST THE LAW according to the Equal Credit Opportunity Act which is codified in 15 U.S.C 1691c and is pursuant to civil liability under 15 U.S.C 1692k. Capital One Auto Finance are subject to criminally liability for violating 15 U.S.C 1691 as I have proof what I was discriminated against by Capital One Auto Finance due to the response I received. Capital One Auto Finance is in violation of 15 U.S. Code 1642. U.S.C 1681m and 12 cfr 1002 because I, the consumer, made an application in good faith, but credit was not issued.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased XXXX travel vouchers ( {$500.00} each ) with XXXX ( now out of business ) for ecotravel that gives back to the community it serves. The travel vouchers were to be used by myself and my XXXX adult children. I purchased the vouchers on XX/XX/XXXX, as a XXXX gift, with my Capital One credit card. The vouchers were to be originally used towards a trip to XXXX in XXXX, for myself and my daughter, and the remainder vouchers were to be used on a later trip, by my XXXX sons. The trip to XXXX was cancelled by XXXX, due to international covid travel restrictions. The company promised the vouchers would be available for later use, once the pandemic subsided. The following year ( XXXX ), XXXX experienced the worst of the pandemic and that crushed another planned trip with XXXX for us. XXXX reassured us that the vouchers would remain valid for future trips. The XXXX went into liquidation in the fall of XXXX, as they apparently invested the monies received for trips that never materialized in XXXX and lost millions of dollars that belonged to unsuspecting consumers, like myself. There will be no refunds for any of us, from XXXX, as it no longer exists. I sent a letter of appeal to Capital One in late XXXX, disputing the charges and requesting a refund. While the company investigated my appeal, they returned the {$2000.00} plus interest charged. They asked for further documentation, in order to continue the investigation and gave me a month to do so. At this time, I was traveling back and forth to help take of my XXXX father ( out of state ) and did not return the documents, in the time given. My father passed in XXXX and Capital One returned the charges to my account again. They suggested that I attempt to collect the money from XXXX, a company that no longer exists and is still in liquidation process. Capital One has informed me that my case is closed.

Consumer Complaint: capital one XXXX credit card that was restricted # XXXX since XXXX i had a balance of over {$5000.00}. i have been making payments to this card for over 5 years. i dont remember the entire account #. on XXXX XXXX i had a new balance of {$1500.00} and paid in full. online was how i made my payment. and the options were, pay minimum, pay other, or pay in full so that's the option i choose. then on XX/XX/XXXX interest was added on {$22.00}. i called spoke to collections agent and they were not able to remove charges since I paid in full. the agent kept insisting that if i was going to make a final payment i should have called to get my new balance that would have been the balance i paid plus additional interest of XXXX that interest was added on XX/XX/XXXX. but i made payment on the XXXX before my actual due date of XXXX of every month. they claim that the balance on the statement was not the correct balance and would hold me responsible for making an additional payment of interest. they told me that interest is calculated daily. the statement did not have that information if i was making a final payment. they insist and i have called. in XXXX and XXXX i called to explain how they can add on interest after i did pay in full. they say its not pay in full it's pay new balance. this card was restricted their were no other transactions, cash advances or purchases. i hope this can be resolved i would appreciate it. The balance should be in full without any more interest added. thank you XXXX XXXX XX/XX/2023 i also had a XXXX card that i paid in full and was charged interest after the final payment and when i called the agent was able to remove that interest.
