Consumer Complaint: Due to COVID I became delinquent on this account and was no longer able to pay on it. I went with a debt settlement company called XXXX XXXX who entered into a settlement with Capital One to pay an agreed upon amount starting XX/XX/2023. I have been paying on this account and still getting marked with late payments as if the account is opened, yet it is marked as close on their own website.

Consumer Complaint: I'd like to complain about Capital One Quicksilver Credit Card. Capital One Credit Card offers no consumer protection whatsoever. They failed to do any investigation when there's a dispute. I purchased 3 airplane tickets on XXXX on XXXX XXXX, 2023 for traveling in XXXX, 2023 for the amount of {$10000.00}. E-tickets I received were fake and can not be used when I tried to confirm with the airlines directly. I informed the merchant and was told that problems would be fixed. Two weeks later, nothing happened so I asked for full refund. I was promised full refund ( in writing ) which never came. I have all the communications with the merchant in writing. I opened dispute with Capital One on XX/XX/, 2023 and they sent me a letter in XXXX saying that since merchant did not respond, case is considered closed unless they receive correspondence from the merchant within 90 days. If that's the case, then I would need to provide further documents proving my case, which I fully agree. In the meantime, I received an email from the merchant telling me that their company was under audit by the airlines so all the tickets were being on hold so can't be used. They asked me to cancel the dispute and they will issue me vouchers for future use. All that seemed like scam to me so I refused to be fooled twice. I called and informed Capital One on XX/XX/XXXX about the emails merchant sent me and I offered to forward to Capital One but they told me that they did not need any documents from me. So I assume they will do proper investigation and I wouldn't be financially liable for scams. Just today, XX/XX/XXXX, I am very surprised to discover that Capital One charged me {$10000.00} again, for no apparent reason. They did not ask me to provide any documents. No email or mail notification. Nothing! The charge just showed up again. I am not sure if there's any connection but I did the survey Capital One emailed me and I said I would not recommend Capital One to anyone. In summary, Capital One Credit Card offers no consumer protection whatsoever. They failed to do any investigation when there's a dispute.

Consumer Complaint: I signed up for an XXXX account ( online fitness service ) with a XXXX email address. That account was canceled in XX/XX/XXXX. I subsequently created a new account from my work email, which was canceled on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. The XXXX refunded me the amount, which is reflected on my capital one card. I then received an email that the service that I had signed up for ( on demand access ) was being discontinued on XXXX XXXX, and would no longer be offered effective XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX charged my credit card for the service that was discontinued ( their on demand access ). I immediately emailed them to request for the charge to be reversed as I no longer had an active account with them, and they were no longer offering the services anyways. When they refused, I filed a dispute with CapitalOne, which they promptly rejected. I then resubmitted the information XXXX and spent multiple hours on the phone with them, only to be advised that this actually fell under their fraud department 's scope. I filed a case with their fraud department, which they rejected within hours. I've sought the advice of an attorney who recommended that I reach out to you, as this evidence I shared with him unequivocally demonstrated that the charge was fraudulent. Attached you will find my cancellation for the original account. My cancellation for the second account, as well as the discontinuation notice for the service. I've also included the fraudulent charge, as well as my request for it to be reversed. I've also included the credit card statement that shows the refund in XXXX. Finally, attached are all the dispute responses from CapitalOne.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, Capital One offered me a Settle For Less than the amount on my charged off account of {$390.00}. I fulfilled that amount on XX/XX/XXXX. However, I received a notification via XXXX that the company has reported my account as delinquent instead of settled for less than the amount. This is false information reporting and will present a strong adverse effect on my credit rating. This needs to be addressed and corrected immediately. I have also sent an email to the CEO regarding this matter.
