Consumer Complaint: I have an inquiry on my XXXX Credit report from CAPITAL ONE BANK. This inquiry was not done by me on XX/XX/2023. I called Capital One Bank Fraud Division on XX/XX/2023, per XXXX customer service and try and resolve. I spoke with a representative and was told they would contact the credit bureau and fix the problem. However, when I called XXXX back to see if they were contacted by CAPITAL ONE, they advised nothing was reported and the inquiry would stay on report for 2 years. This is affecting my credit report and since I can not seem to find a solution from either XXXX or CAPITAL ONE. I need assistance with this situation from your organization.
