Consumer Complaint: Capital One is using unfair predatory practices. I have enrolled in their program to bring my card status current in the amount of {$150.00} with a balance of XXXX. I have paid my portions and stuck to their payment plan, ON TIME, Capital One continues to report late. I have asked Supervisor, XXXX # ID XXXX, at the end of the 3 month payment plan, my late charges be removed and updated with the credit bureaus and her response was no, and that Capital One will continue to report late until XXXX mo have been completed, and the Lates will not be removed from reports, even after the plan has been completed successfully, which has continually dropped my scores by XXXX points. I am upholding my end of the payment plan, working on my credit improvement and XXXX. is not. I explained to Supervisor that maybe Capital One should have a recording in full-understandable English. It was very hard to understand the agent 's thick heavy accent.

Consumer Reporting Agencies have assumed a vital role and have a responsibility to report Consumer information to the best of their ability with Maximum Accuracy. I have never been late on payments for the account : ( XXXX XXXX ) : ( XXXX ) Please investigate and provide Proof with statements showing that these payments were late. Consumer Complaint: the other XXXX XXXX XXXX called about a fraud attempt to obtain financing tob uy or lease or mortgage car at XXXX or else where, and on my creditr report I see ther was also an inquiry to capital one auto finance on XX/XX/23 also and I have no capital one auto inquiries and this is a fraud. Capital one I called twice and they seeemed unable to help me and kept me on hold for 15 minutes and did nothing. SO I am forced to file this complaint to make sure they recognize the fraud and identify theft and shut it down. shame on them.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Capital one has been refusing to give me access to my funds. I got a direct deposit from XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX payer group ) in the amount of {$32000.00} on the XXXX of XX/XX/2023. The deposit was as a result to what IRS owed me and refunded. I went to the bank the next day and I was told theres a block on my account and I cant access my funds for now. I was so disappointed then I proceeded to ask the lady whats the actual cause of the restriction on my account, then she said its because of a previous check I deposited in the amount of {$5000.00}. I told her, I didnt take a dime out of that money and I was the one who requested for a stop payment on the check. So, I told her I want a check for the good funds in my account which is my tax refund from IRS but she said I cant access my account. I went there another time with my tax documents, hoping to show them the documents in order to access my money but she refused. Meanwhile, before I went to the bank the third time, I talked to the account activity department on ( XXXX ) XXXX and the lady who talked to me, told me to go into the branch and I will be given access to the good funds from IRS but unfortunately upon getting to the bank. The branch ambassador which is XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX and her contact numbers are ; XXXX, XXXX refuse to give me a check for the good funds despite the fact that the other supervisor said I should go in there to get it. Well, Im suspecting a foul play and I think capital one is just trying to steal from me or maybe its the branch ambassador but then, please and please I need MY MONEY. Im starving and broke, help me please! I want access to good funds that came from the XXXX payer group please. Im begging!!!

Consumer Complaint: Dear Sir, I paid for a new camera from the XXXX website from a company called XXXX. The camera was supposed to be delivered in XX/XX/. I contacted XXXX via the XXXX website and asked where my camera was several times. My messages did not get answered so next I complained to XXXX - please see attachments called XXXX XXXX didn't help. So I filed a chargeback with CapitalOne.com on the XXXX of XXXX XXXX CapitalOne replied to my chargeback saying they were working on it. The communication from CapitalOne and XXXX has been extremely poor. When I applied for a chargeback with XXXX, the process was SECURE and simple. I logged in at XXXX and sent a secure message using XXXX XXXXXXXX then sent back secure messages via XXXX and resolved the charge in about 3 weeks time. I received no communications from CapitalOne and the credit of {$140.00} was debited from my CapitalOne account. When I complained I was told that since I did not reply to the email they sent my chargeback was cancelled. This is where the problem lies at CapitalOne. 1 ) They use UNSECURE emails to send and receive messages. I'm not a bank but just on the SECURITY this is UNSECURE. I never received this email so couldn't reply. Why didn't CapitalOne send a second email or better still use SECURE messaging via their website like chase.com do? On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX I was credited with a second chargeback after I lodged a complaint. This was then debited on XXXX XX/XX/2023. I have emailed XXXX multiple times to provide details to help their investigations in MOST cases with NO REPLIES. I have then phoned CapitalOne and spoke to their staff in the XXXX to try to resolve the problem. CapitalOne 's communications are extremely lacking or non-existent. I opened another chargeback after my second charge was cancelled by the staff at CapitalOne. They claimed I didn't reply, but I have proof of multiple emails and phone calls that I made in an attempt to resolve the case. Please see the attached documents. On the XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I was asked to provide more information. I provide cut-and-paste emails clearly showing that XXXX stated that they would pay me back on the XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX using XXXX. Today is the XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and I haven't received any payments from XXXX to my XXXX account. The promise to pay back via XXXX from XXXX was lies. I sent two emails back to XXXX on the XXXX XX/XX/. I phoned CapitalOne and spoke with their employees in the XXXX who confirmed they had received my two emails. This employee said she couldn't understand why the case had not been resolved in my favor. On the XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I phoned Capitalone again on the XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and was told me case had been closed. I said this is strange since I received an email on the XXXX XX/XX/XXXX asking for more information? I asked to speak to a supervisor who screamed at me and won't listen. Previously, I complained to any supervisor at CapitalOne about their very poor customer services and filed a complaint number XXXX. I believe this complaint is being looked into. I can't believe that after more than 4 months and two weeks, the staff at XXXX failed to resolve the case in my favor.I have not or never received the camera that was ordered on the XXXX of XX/XX/. XXXX said they would refund via XXXX but never refunded me via XXXX. Even a XXXX can see that XXXX are a SCAM company that charged me via my CapitalOne DEBT CARD. Unfortunately due to extremely poor communication from XXXX and CapitalOne I'm out of pocket {$140.00}, plus have wasted lots of time both sending emails and phoning capitalone multiple times. Steps to improve charge back. 1 ) Copy XXXX and both customer and bank communicate via secure messages at capitalone.com rather than use unsecure emails from both the customer and XXXX XXXX ) Use American staff based in the XXXX to help customers rather than cheap unhelpful staff that speak poor XXXX in the XXXX. Consumer Complaint: on XX/XX/XXXX my vehicle a XXXX XXXX XXXX was totaled. On XX/XX/XXXX approx. My insurance company XXXX paid off the vehicle based on its value. After XXXX paid off the vehicle, there was an additional negative equity balance of {$3100.00} The dealer I purchased the vehicle from sent a vehicle warranty cancellation check to Capital one on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I confirmed with a representative at Capital one that they had received the check. Even after receiving the check in the amount of {$4100.00} they still have not applied the funds to my account and have not sent me the overage funds via mail. I have called several times and they say the funds will be applied within a couple days. We are now going on almost a month and a half. Originally I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX class from XXXX XXXX XXXX and there was an auto loan account opened for that vehicle. The vehicle began having issues day 3 of me having it and so based on the dealerships 5 day return policy I took the vehicle back and purchased instead the XXXX XXXX XXXX. The customer service rep claimed that this may have been the reason the funds were not applied to my account and asked for a front and back copy of the processed check. I provided this from the dealership. I still have heard nothing back from Capital one and my account will go into delinquent payments even though they have been paid.

Consumer Complaint: Regarding : Application ID XXXX I am requesting that Capital One remove the hard inquiry from my credit file with all three credit bureaus. I applied for a Capital One Business Credit Card and I was approved for a {$1000.00} business credit limit. However, after faxing copies of both of my drivers licenses ( one with my maiden name and one with my married name ) and a copy of my social security card 5 times and mailing my documents once. Capital One never opened my account. First issue Capital One sent an email that included a button that is supposed to be a link that should open a web page so that I can upload my documents. The button has never worked since the first day Capital One sent the email. I called to inform them and was directed to fax my documents. Second issue As I faxed my documents, Capital One has XXXX communication with rather they've received my documents or not. I was only updated by initiating a call and waiting in the customer service que to confirm that my documents were received. Third issue I also mailed the documents in after 5 fax attempts. All were successfully delivered from my end. I made every attempt with Capital One verification department to provide the a copy of my drivers license and social security card. Now I have a damaging hard inquiry on my credit file with no open credit card account, although I was approved.

Consumer Complaint: I am filing this complaint to CAPITAL ONE there are errors and inaccurate information in my reports such as the date of last activity, date opened, date reported, payment status, charges or amounts and etc. However, when I checked my report, I did not see any changes made at all. Inaccurate and erroneous information is still reporting. My rights have been violated numerous times. 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A.
