Consumer Complaint: My wife received a phone call saying they have been trying to deliver medicine to me and the package was denied. They left a call back number which was different than the local number they used to contact her. They also left a case #. I called the number and gave them the case number. The lady introduced herself as someone from XXXX XXXX and XXXX and XXXX office. They had the last 4 of my SSN and bday. The lady stated something about an HSBC or XXXX XXXX ( she didn't seem to know which ) credit card from 2007 that was never paid with a sum of over {$3000.00}. I told her I do not have records that far back and can not remember this account and I do not think it was ever on my credit report as negative. She stated that if I did not pay it I would be taken to court and sued and have my wages garnished. She was somehow reading from my current credit report and see I had 2 XXXX XXXX credit cards currently which seemed off to me. I got off the phone and did a quick XXXX search and several other people are reporting the same type of scam from this same company XXXX info is XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, AZ XXXX Number they had me call XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Capital One is reporting inaccurate information on my Consumer Credit Report. By Definition the IRS Clearly says a Cancelled debt or charge off/written off debt is Income. The reporting of this account as a debt is in accurate. INCOME DOES NOT GET REPORTED ON THE CONSUMER REPORT which in fact makes your reporting of this account inaccurate! The reporting of such inaccurate information has caused severe damage to my character, my reputation, my general mode of living and my ability to obtain Credit for personal and house purposes. Consumer Complaint: This is for capital one XXXX card Basically on the website it says for approved clients they would receive XXXX $ after spending XXXX. There is a point made that clients who have had this card in last 48 month will not qualify for this. That's the only thing on the page. When I agreed to sign up for the card I assumed if I get approved then I would qualify for the bonus too. Company said that not everyone will qualify for the bonus regardless if the person qualifies for the card. No where in the page did it say that. Consumer Complaint: I hold a credit card with Capital One, Visa Card since around XX/XX/XXXX, credit card number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, I had paid my credit card ontime, all this years ontime. So, regarding this incident, I paid the balance on this credit card, on the day the payment was due, and they stated that it was late, but was never late, there must has being a computer error on their system. I always have problems with their online system, wether try later, or system is not available, or where I had made payments on the past, and they payment never posted. So I was under the impression that the payment was processed on time, until I got a notification from XXXX XXXX ( I have a service with them, they notify me when there is a change on my credit report ), that XXXX had put a late payment on my credit report. I disputed this mistake with XXXX and they removed it, however ; a few weeks later it did appear again, then I disputed the error again and in 2 days after my second dispute they sent me an email that the late payment remained on my XXXX credit report. I have had perfect credit for so many years, I need my good credit because I'm always looking for real estate deals, but this mark on my report is really hurting me financially. I had maintain an excellent credit record for yeas and I don't think is fair that Capital One refuses to update my credit report, I called and I was transfer to some one in XXXX or some XXXX country, and all they said is for me to dispute the item with the credit bureau, but no other info. was available. I really hope this can be taking care of ASAP. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX. 2023 I noticed as I was looking over my credit I noticed there was an auto loan that I was unaware about. Overtime I've received calls and emails from capital one about this but I never really sat down and paid it any attention until now because it started to affect my credit. I thought that the calls and emails were reminders for my own personal credit card I have through them not an auto finance loan through capital one. Now that I'm looking more into it I believe there has been an identity fraud theft because I've been receiving notices about car tickets in my name under this cars information. I am taking the proper precautions to get this taken care of because this is an unfortunate circumstance and is affecting my credit and causing me debt.

One if those cards being from Capital One but i did not get approved. In XXXX i applied for the XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX and got approved and that is the card i have now and while i was looking at my credit report for this month ( XXXX ) i saw a hard inquiry posted from Capital One, but that was the only time i had ever looked or applied to credit cards for it to impact my credit score this month.
