Consumer Complaint: Received a letter they were reducing my credit line for non-use. XX/XX/23 Called and got nowhere. XX/XX/23 received second letter they were going to close my account for non-use. If I used the card it would keep the account active for two years. Went out and made a small purchase on XX/XX/23 in order to keep the account open. Of course both these actions by them would adversely affect my credit rating. Problem is that were literally blackmailing me via my credit thought they extended me the credit by their choice. How I used it should be my choice. I then wrote an email to the CEO XXXX XXXX. Letter attached below. No reply .... Again, I say this is nothing more than credit blackmail. Every time someone reduces your credit or threatens to close an account for reasons of abuse I get. Doing this for non-use is nothing more than punishment for good use of my credit.

I did so. My bank Capital One tells me that I need to contact the recipient and have them release the funds. The account holder at XXXX XXXX XXXX already told me the released the funds, so no idea what is causing the delay of me receiving my refund.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/23, I called Capital One to confirm that my Global Entry application fee of {$100.00} will be refunded to me AS PART OF A CARD MEMBER BENEFIT. I was told by the representative a rebate of {$100.00} will be credited after a few business days. As of XX/XX/23, Capital One did not issue the rebate. I called Capital One on XX/XX/23 and spoke with XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX transferred me to her Supervisor XXXX at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX said {$100.00} would be refunded in 24 hours. As of XX/XX/23, Capital One has not refunded {$100.00} to my account. Capital One claims the representative originally gave me the wrong information. Even if that is so, I should not be losing money due to their error. If not for this misrepresentation, I would have used any of my other cards that provide a rebate for the Global Entry Fee. If that was not enough, even their Supervisor XXXX, is engaging in falsehoods by promising a refund but not processing it. All of the above can easily be verified by reviewing a recording of the calls I made to Capital One on the above dates.

In seeking a resolution, I contacted Capital One to assist with the replacement and halt the payment until the issue was resolved. Despite multiple follow-ups with both XXXX and Capital One, including direct communication with XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, the replacement has not been provided by XXXX. Instead, Capital One started to charge me a late payment of the defective computer. I believe that Capital One 's failure to protect my interests in this matter constitutes a serious breach of their responsibility, particularly concerning fraud protection. Rather than standing by their customer, their actions appear to support the fraudulent conduct by failing to intervene appropriately.

Consumer Complaint: I had recently tried to purchase a car and get pre-approved by XXXX XXXX. I discovered that I was unable to get approved due to derogatory and unauthorized charges on my account. I have multiple hard inquiries on my account that I wasnt aware of which has impacted me alot. I Have two closed accounts that were fraudulently opened and unauthorized by me. The first account was a credit card by XXXX XXXX with the amount of {$3000.00} which was opened on XX/XX/XXXX. The second account was by Capital One of the amount of {$950.00} which was opened on XX/XX/XXXX. I have tried to contact these companies but was unsuccessful in trying to resolve this issue. These accounts that were opened have damaged me and will continue to damage me. I shouldnt be penalized for fraudulent accounts that were not authorized by me. Additionally, according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 USC 1681 Law there shouldnt be anything that could damage my report. It is illegal. This is a defamation to my character and will continue to impact me on everything I do in life. I am a young XXXX XXXX that is trying to get a house, car, loans, and many more and with these damages to my account it will impact me drastically.

Consumer Complaint: I have spoken with Kohls department store on several occasions, each time I talk to them they try to get me to set up a large amount that I can not pay due to my illness right now. I did explain to them about my illness, but they still offer me very large payments, Yes I do owe them but I am doing my best to pay what I can pay, my work is very slow right now due to my illness, I am doing my best to try to pay them what I owe them, Slow payments I'm making. I know they want their money and I want to pay them but I can't when I can't work. My main concern is they call me on Sundays while I'm at church, I don't care if they call doing week days but not on Sundays while I'm at church, It is very annoying the phone ringing while at church. I want them to stop calling me on Sundays. They call all doing the week days, Creditors should not have to have to call you on Sundays. I am doing my best to pay them, Some weeks I make no money for the pass weeks, I have not made any money so I can't pay them. I pay them when I can make some money. Due to my illness I can't work every day some weeks no work at all, When I do see a way to pay them I do try to pay. I am not working full time and most weeks no work but I try my best to pay something. I know I owe them but it is annoying on Sundays, we had two funerals and they call while at the funeral. Just need to stop calling on Sundays.
