Told apartment manager I was making the payment originally XX/XX/2023 and apartment manager kept telling me I have to make the payment date on XX/XX/2023 to avoid eviction even though the paper she given me said XX/XX/2023 XXXX XXXX. The payment that was pre authorized to come out on that date processed in their system on XX/XX/2023 and posted on XX/XX/2023. Spoke with corporate and they said they have no way of going in to change the payment authorization dates. This has happened twice and only times when management or leasing office has called me about certain dates to make the payment. No other issues with other months other than XXXX and a few months ago. No solution was given. XXXX from corporate kept saying that their processing system can process authorization days prior before even though it does not do that any other time.

Consumer Complaint: I was struck with financial insecurity in late XXXX due to the coronavirus pandemic, I had a Capital one Quicksilver credit card active that was {$3600.00} ( {$600.00} over my credit limit ), so I reached out to Capital one who SEEMED happy to enroll me in a plan on XX/XX/XXXX to make XXXX {$220.00} payments which would bring my {$3600.00} account balance down to {$3000.00}, and also would cover my minimum payments for those two months. The important part is, I was told these terms MULTIPLE times by the rep over the phone. Fast forward to now, I held up my end of the offer, and after I completed the {$450.00} of payments, my account still rests at nearly the same {$3600.00} balance and according to the Account manager they dont offer plans with these terms and that I must have been lied to when I was enrolled. She also informed me There is absolutely NOTHING she can offer to fix it and my account will stay over the limit unless I pay it down ANOTHER {$500.00}. I asked if they can please pull the call logs from XX/XX/XXXX to review and figure out why I was enrolled in a plan making payments under false terms. The request was ignored.

On XX/XX/XXXX, the company provided a letter stating they reversed the transaction because of lack of " proof of cancellation ''. I submitted a response on XX/XX/XXXX stating the merchant " terminated '' the service with bogus reason hence no cancellation from my side was needed. On XX/XX/XXXX, I submitted the response again stating 1 ), the merchant breached the contract first thus no cancellation obligation is needed from me 2 ), the specific details why the merchant breached the contract. Capital One denied my claim immediately on the ground of " lack of requested documents ''. I called in to confirm the requested documents again, after 4 representatives, they confirmed with me 1 ), purchase agreement or invoice ; 2 ), proof of cancellation ; 3 ), terms and conditions ; 4 ), refund voucher or not ; 5 ), description on what happened. I explained to the rep that 1 ), I was never provided a purchase agreement or sales receipt, that's the fact from the initial filling ; 2 ), the merchant refused to provide service and breached the contract hence no cancellation needed from me ; 3 ), I have already provided a copy of the terms and conditions ; 4 ), I have already provided a description on what happened and details. 5 ), the merchant refused to provide a refund. Capital one refused to dispute this transaction on the ground of lack of sales invoice or purchase agreement. According to the FRCA The term " investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumer 's character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he is acquainted or who may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. They stated my account was verified but how is that possible if they did not do a proper investigation according to the law. Also every piece of information on these accounts are still not reporting 100 % Accurate. And according to the FRCA 15 USC 1681 everything has to be 100 % Accurate. I have the credit report showing the inaccuracies. ListAccounts DISPUTE RESPONSE 15 U.S. Code 1681c-2 a consumer reporting agency shall block the reporting of any information in the file of a consumer that the consumer identifies as information that resulted from an alleged identity theft Shall be removed from the consumers report not later than 4 business days after the date of receipt. It has been 30 days and you are in VIOLATION of this law because I am a victim of identit theft!! Please delete these items as soon as possible! These accounts should not be furnished on my consumer report as they are in VIOLATION! Under, 15 U.S Code 1681b - Permissible purposes of consumer reports ( a ) IN GENERAL Subject to subsection ( c ) any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer under the following circumstances and no other : ( 2 ) In accordance with the WRITTEN INSTRUCTION of the consumer to whom it relates. I NEVER gave any consumer reporting agency WRITTEN CONSENT to report anything on my consumer report which violates my rights as a federal protected consumer. NO CONSENT IS IDENTITY THEFT. As a federally protected consumer I am demanding the deletion of the accounts listed IMMEDIATELY. PS! Consumer Complaint: On or about XX/XX/2023, my wife and I opened up a new savings account and a CD with our existing bank ( Capital One ). For reasons that are unclear to us, Capital One froze our existing accounts but we were not made aware of that immediately. The information we did receive indicated that the accounts were frozen because of suspicious activity, but that activity was simply the opening up of our accounts through their process on their own website. Because the accounts were frozen without our approval or knowledge, some of our bills that were set up through autopay out of our checking account were denied. After about 3 days, we discovered the issue and resolved the bank 's mistake on XX/XX/2023. However, in the intervening time there were two bills on which we received late fees ( {$45.00} from our water utility ; {$10.00} from a child care provider - documentation available ). I raised the issue of the late fees with Capital One. Their customer service said the only thing they could do is provide a letters saying that they suspended the account in error that I could use to try to get the late fees waived. A letter dated XX/XX/2023 from Capital One says that they placed a restriction on a savings account, but a ) does not mention the checking account from which the auto pay was affected ; and b ) does not acknowledge that I was not responsible for the error. In any case, this was solely the bank 's error which resulted in additional costs to me. I believe the appropriate remedy is not that I should have to seek out a waiver of the late fees, which I already had to pay, but that the bank should reimburse me for its mistake.

Consumer Complaint: Date of incident XX/XX/2023 Kohl 's recently partnered with Capital One to handle credit card payments for them. Until today I would have had an option to use my Kohl 's card or the Kohl 's VISA card with Capital One when I logged in. Today the only option I had was the Kohl 's VISA card. When I tried to use the Kohls VISA while shopping online, it said I had to connect the card. In order to connect my card I had to enter the account expiration date and security code. I didn't have this information because I never received a physical card ( plastic card ) from Capital One. I called Kohl 's and was told I had to contact Capital One I went to the Capital One website and saw a red box that said Kohl 's VISA in big letters with a drop down box to " get your virtual card ''. I clicked on this box and wrote down the account number ( ending in XXXX ), expiration date and security code. I tried to use this to process my purchase on the Kohl 's website. I kept getting error messages that I did not enter the correct expiration date or security code. I called Capital One and explained the above to them. The representative told me that the virtual card was my Capital One card ending in XXXX. My Kohl 's VISA card had an account number that ended in XXXX. I repeatedly told her I want to know the full account number, expiration date and security code for my Kohl 's card. I could not connect the Kohl 's card without this information. She refused and kept telling me I could just use my new Capital One card ending in XXXX. I adamantly refused to use their card and demanded to speak to a supervisor. She told me my Kohl 's account ended in XXXX and the expiration date was XX/XX/2023. I demanded to speak to a supervisor. When I spoke to the supervisor, she would not give me the full account number, would not give me the security code, would not provide a plastic card and would not provide a virtual card. When I threated to report the credit card company she connect the Kohl 's VISA to my Kohl 's account so I could use it to make a purchase. This process took more than one hour. I don't know if I'll be able to use my card on future purchases. Most purchases I make online with a saved credit card still ask for the security code. If that's the case, I won't be able to make a purchase using my Kohl 's VISA without going through drama on the phone with Capital One. If I hadn't threatened to report them form credit card fraud, my Kohl 's VISA would not have been connected.
