Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I applied for a Capital One Platinum card requesting the maximum limit. I was forced to only apply for {$60000.00} as I was not able to apply for more because my application wouldn't process. I explained to the customer service agent XXXX who was present at the time of the in store application that this action was adverse and discriminatory against me. She said it was nothing she can do. As you made be aware, it is against federal law in accordance with the Equal Credit Opportunity Act to proclaim an adverse action against a consumer. Pursuant to 15 U.S Code 1691 ( C ) you assume civil liability pursuant to 15 U.S Code 1691 ( K ). Capital one has violated my federally protected consumer rights. 1. 15 U.S Code 1642 2. 15 U.S Code 1681 M 3. 12 CFR 1002 upon my application being denied I was told by the Capital One employee XXXX that I would received a letter in 7 to 10 business days explaining the reason for the denial. I have not received that letter as of yet although 7 to 10 business days have passed. I also received an electronic notice ( see attachment ) reiterating that I would receive a letter in 7 to 10 days which i did not. This is booth evidence and proof that I have been discriminated against, Capital One Is also criminally liable and should resort to reasonable procedures to rectify this affair and compensate me for this use of my security, otherwise this would be security fraud since I have no BENEFIT. according the capital prospectus : 1. Today is XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. Capital one. I asked XXXX to add {$100.00} to the loan to take care of any other extra charges capital one could have hidden. Capital One account number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$37000.00} was received at Capital One on XXXX XXXX at XXXX. Capital One then changed the check depositing {$34000.00} in the XXXX and {$3000.00} which equals {$37000.00}. Why did Capital One do this only to incur more money from me? Capital One policy is they will not except checks or credit cards to pay off auto loans. I only can use their 3rd payer option which charges me more money. {$38.00} was charged to me by XXXX XXXX On XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on Friday XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. This is highway robbery by this company Captial One They refused to allow a debt card to pay the {$38.00} saying the card was no good. They allowed a visa card to pay this amount off. The foreign call center individual stated that it could take up to 90 days or longer to clear my title from them. Captilal one refuses to allow pay off of an auto loan but does allow debt cards can pay off auto loan over {$3000.00}. This is a corrupt criminal money laundering operation that needs to be investigated and shut down.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I got a notification that there was a purchase of {$610.00} charged on my credit card for XXXX I immediately went into my wallet to check if I had my credit card and it was missing. So I locked my card after knowing my card was lost and knowing someone charged my credit card. And I called capital one costumer service and I had them close the card down and send me out a new card. I then explained to them that this purchase was not made by me and I never even purchased from seatgeek. So then they begin the fraud process and they tell me to send them documents of a written letter explaining what happened with my name signed I did so. And then a few days later they said it wasnt enough information to refund the money back to my credit card. Now they told me that there was already documents sent to them and I have never sent any information or documents to them other than the handwritten letter written by me with my named signed. So I am guessing someone called or emailed or something and sent my bank documents which I am confused about because how does anyone know my information to even call. Anyway, I tried to dispute this transaction since today. I have been going back and forth with them and explaining and trying to send them proof that this transaction was not made by me. They even sent me in my document center in the bank app a screenshot of the ticket confirmation email and the email that purchased it was not my email and I do not recognize that email so I know its not my family members either. I kid you not Ive called about 20 times in the past few months ever since I found out about this transaction and they have not resolved my issue and its ridiculous because they say they will always help but they did not help me at all. Finally this month I called again and their final response was they have never been through this situation where someone else calls and send documents that isnt the owner of the credit card and they told me they cant issue a refund and then they tell me to file a police report but their not sure if that will help. This is frustrating because like k said before I did not authorize this transaction and they almost make it seem like I am lying or something. And its been XXXX and a half months trying to solve this issue but it has not been solved.

Consumer Complaint: I paid an extra XXXX on top of my min monthly and they did not apply it to the highest interest balance which would be cash advance. The Credit CARD Act of XXXX stipulates that any excess payments you make ( amounts higher than your minimum payment ) should be credited towards the balance with the highest APR. If there is any amount leftover, this will be applied to the balance with the second highest rate of interest. See the statements for details.you can see the extra paid and the higher interest balance did not go down XXXX as it should have.
