Consumer Complaint: Upon noticing inaccuracies in the report, the undersigned took it upon themselves to reach out to the creditor to request validation of the debt, but to their disappointment, the creditor failed to provide any supporting documentation. Therefore, the undersigned insists that the credit bureau provides concrete evidence of this account being late. If such evidence is not forthcoming, they demand the immediate removal of the negative payment status associated with this account from their credit report. Consumer Complaint: Called many many times over the past year and capital one fraud would always tell me they are investegating. This was very straight forward repeating pattern. They would give me the money back into my account and I would tell them in about 15 recorded messages that just tell your XXXX guys and they can stop this. I was transferred from Dept to Department but never to a real individual that understood what I was telling them nor it seems that they cared. Happened about six times -- - the exact pattern with different merchant name -- I told them a junior XXXX person could write a simple algorithm to stop this. I probably have 5 to 8 hrs. of recorded messages saying the same thing. Finall came upon a person that cared. she said the {$10000.00} should have been ( Ibelieve ) plus XXXX XXXX since they deposited two amount that equaled XXXX XXXX She said about 4 months ago she would take care of it. Nothing happened. I went to a local Capital one bank about6 times in past two months -- they have put in requests as well as NON -Compliance reports based on their policies. Nothing You call fraud and they tell you over and over they will put in another request.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I made the decision to open a XXXX XXXX credit card with the intention of building my credit and enjoying increased cash back on my spending. The allure of a one-time {$200.00} cash bonus after spending {$500.00} within the first 3 months, as advertised on the official " capitalone.com '' website, added to the appeal. It's important to note that I already hold a high yield savings account with Capital One. However, my optimism was dampened when, a few days later, I contacted the credit card agents to confirm the details of the sign-on bonus. To my dismay, they conveyed that I didn't qualify for the offer because I had signed up during a period that supposedly didn't include the bonus, contrary to the information on the Capital One website. More than the monetary aspect, what truly frustrates and angers me about this situation is the sense of deception, trickery, and dishonesty. Despite these feelings, I still hold a positive view of Capital One and sincerely hope they address and rectify this serious issue.
