Accounts XXXX XXXX /XXXX/XXXX - # XXXX Has several late payments. It as well should not have any late payments attached to a charge off account because charge accounts are late by default. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX It states I made a payment in XX/XX/2022 but states in the history you closed the account .. and only after 60 days of being late XXXX XXXX XXXX This charge off again is illegally reporting late payments against an already charged off account that is late by default. In total it has close to 79 late payments attached to it and continues although the account has been charged off.. I want this late payments updated to pays as agrees.

Consumer Complaint: Capital One will not discharge the debt I had with them prior to my bankruptcy. My bankruptcy was finalized back in XXXX of XXXX and every other creditor fell off the report but my Capital One debt from back in XXXX remains all 3 credit bureau reports. I have disputed, called and sent in letters regarding this matter to no avail. The fact of the matter is, the derogatory mark that this is leaving on my credit report is causing having in my chance at rebuilding my credit bc late payments and derogatory marks are still causing my credit score to go down due to this creditor. No other creditor ( and there were one 's I owed much more to ) put up this much fight. I think I have finally was able to get XXXX on my side and they just recently deleted them but who knows. They are hindering my ability to obtain good housing, auto loans and employment opportunities. They had their chance to appear before the judge during the closing arguments of my case and they didn't show up. Please help me get a hold of someone who can follow the rules and remove this inaccurate account from a bankruptcy that was discharged 6 months ago! The amount was for {$690.00} and they were given notice and the right to petition. They did no such thing and I'm in desperate need bc neither the credit bureaus nor a big company like Capital One is helping me in rebuilding my life. A process that took sweat and tears to get to only to still have a debit or holding my financial future by my neck. A petition was mailed to them on XX/XX/XXXX, and my bankruptcy. My estate was closed by the judge on XX/XX/XXXX granting me any liability to any debitors listed on aforementioned petition such as Capital One. 6 months later and numerous phone calls to XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX and Capital One it still remains on my report in a closed manner but causing deragoratoy marks on my credit score such as the late payments with this debitor and the late payments being over 60 days old. As well as, having an account deragoratoy standing for a long period of time. This the rules of the Bankruptcy and the dismal from the judge wasn't granted the way and months later I now have not only a bankruptcy deragoratoy mark on my credit report but the account I sacrificed that scarlet letter for is still ruining my life. I am XXXX XXXX and I am in hopes of one day purchasing a house of my own. This one debitor shouldn't be controlling that for this many years! Please help!!

Consumer Complaint: I get promotional offers from capital one for shopping and getting rewards. However, they are not clear to customers how this is setup and how they are organized internally. It appears they have this outsourced to a third party that offers only email support which is very poor. Despite many phone calls to the company I deal with, they are not willing to look at my grievance and suggest doing the email follow up. No amount of escalation requests has met with care, concern or follow up. They just say we will take your feedback. I have made many shopping trips and bought giftcards simply because of their offers. Without these offers, I would be paying more than the value of the cards. Consumer Complaint: I have been a holder of Capital One 360 XXXX accounts ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) since approximately XXXX I held ( until XXXX ) XXXX high-interest savings accounts with Capital One totaling over totals varying from {$15000.00} up to over {$60000.00}. I opened these accounts with the understanding that they were high-interest savings accounts. They were advertised as high-interest savings accounts at the outset and they continued to be advertised and operated that way. When interest rates went up, the rates went up ; when interest rates went down, the rates decreased. It was my understanding from how the accounts were advertised and operated that I would earn a competitive high-yield rate. For example, today, CapitalOne advertises high-interest accounts : 4.35 % APY- High Yield rate- A competitive Annual Percentage Yield. However, recently, after receiving an offer from a competing bank, I checked the interest rate of my Capital One accounts. All of my XXXX accounts are currently earning a paltry .30 % interest or less. I was surprised and visited the Capital One website to confirm that Capital One is paying such uncompetitive rates. I then spent hours on the phone with XXXX XXXX last night and today, seeking my original terms and condition documents. Capital One kept trying to direct me to todays Terms and Conditions but was unable to provide me with the Terms and Conditions when I open the accounts. Moreover, despite speaking to numerous people, Capital One was unable to provide any explanation as to what its variable rate was tied to., My most recent account statement states my accounts are XXXX XXXX Accounts. It appears that Capital One is treating legacy XXXX High-Yield Savings Accounts ( Legacy High-Yield Accounts ) differently than these XXXX XXXX XXXX The features of the XXXX XXXX Accounts appear to be nearly the same as the XXXX XXXX Accounts, except for the interest rate. It would appear that Capital One engaged in deceptive and abusive practices. Specifically, Capital One led XXXX XXXX Account holders to believe that they were getting competitive interest rates, but did not pay competitive interest rates. Further, Capital One launched a New High-Yield Account product without properly notifying Legacy High-Yield Account holders of the change or automatically rolling them into these accounts. And finally, it would appear that Capital One did this to intentionally deprive consumers with Legacy High-Yield Accounts of the interest they were entitled based on Capital Ones promises and past practices. Not only did Capital One violate XXXX Capital One intentionally harmed consumers who trusted Capital One to protect and preserve their savings. Particularly during high-inflation environments such as this, it is critical that Capital One repair the damage done.

Consumer Complaint: First of all, I see that the cfpb closed my original complaint ( Complaint ID XXXX ) and I don't know why. This is far from being resolved, but since that complaint was filed, this is what has happened, which is really nothing to resolve it : 1. I have received at least 30-calls from Kohl 's . The 1st 5-6 calls were from XXXX XXXXs overseas to whom I made it perfectly clear that I would only speak to and deal with someone from the U.S., an American I can actually understand what they are saying. Those overseas people refused to transfer me to the U.S. 2. After those 5-6 calls, I and out of the approximately 30-calls received, the next 3 said they could not send me what I was asking for, which was a detail of the purchases I made, they claim I owe for, showing my returns/credits, and/or credits for merchandise I never received. 3. The next 4-5 calls, I would answer, and hear laughing and then they would hang-up, and then the next few calls, I would answer, they hung up, I could not hear anything. I know all of these calls were from Kohl 's because the name Kohl 's is displayed on my phone screen. 4. What kind of corrupt yoyo company is this? I have now just stopped answering their calls. I now PREFER an American, I can understand, in the U.S., not overseas, email me so that we can get this resolved. I don't like owing money, and this has gone on for several months. These people hire some REAL NICE customer service reps!

According to the XXXX XXXX, institutions must develop and give notice of their privacy policies to their own customers at least annually and before disclosing any consumer 's personal financial information to an unaffiliated third party, and must give notice and an opportunity for that consumer to " opt out '' from such disclosure. I THE CONSUMER DID NOT RECEIVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO OPT OUT so I am exercising my right to opt out NOW.
