Consumer Complaint: During the holidays, I opened a Comenity Capital Bank Ultimate Rewards Mastercard with the sole purpose of only using when needed around XXXX time. Once the card arrived in the mail, I stowed and put away with my belongings where no one had access to it. The balance was then paid, and did not receive a letter or email from Ultimate Rewards until the following year stating I had an unpaid balance from multiple purchases made during the summer of that year. Immediately I filed a fraud dispute on XX/XX/2023 stating the circumstance, and an Investigation was then opened. On XXXX, XXXX I received a letter from Comenity Capital Bank Utimated Rewards Mastercard stating that I am not responsible for the disputed amount balance. In addition to claims that they will send out the same letter to the three national reporting credit agencies to remove this account from my credit bureau, and to expect updates within 30 to 45 days. It is now XXXX XXXX and I have yet to see any updates, except for a continuous drop in my credit score due to this outstanding balance and late payments being recorded each month.

Consumer Complaint: I called Comenity 's fraud dept on XX/XX/23 at XXXX to report fraud on my store card for Express with Comenity Bank XXXX I asked if I could close the store card OR if I could freeze/hold the card to ensure fraud charges don't happen in the future. The rep said I could freeze/hold the store card and call if I want to use it, so I decided to do that. I was placed on a hold then the rep came back changing the policy stating I had to close the card and reapply, no freeze/hold is available to me. Now my online account no longer exists and I can not track the resolution of the fraud on my card. This will also lower my credit score being forced to close the card. I have never experienced fraud on any of my accounts and Comenity 's practice, forcing me to close the account and blocking me from viewing the account, plus damaging my credit score is so unfair.

Consumer Complaint: Comenity Bank has been calling from different numbers and even going as far as blocking their number asking for someone that no longer works here for the last month. I have asked them repeatedly to stop calling as the person they are looking for no longer works here, yet they continue to call. I have told them that I will report them for harassment, but they are continuing to call. The number of times they call is unnecessary as well as distracting when one is trying to work. I have turned my ringer off of my work phone as I am receiving multiple calls a day from them and sometimes I miss work related calls because of this. The multiple calls distract not only me but my colleagues as well.

I just got a credit bureaus notice where they reported my account delinquent. eyh. I never git a bill to make a payment. plus they just noticed me 6 days ago they fixed all payments and have corrected my account. what did they do they can't find my payments they lowered my credit limit and then reported me delinquent comenity bank is really screwing up my credit and my payments. they need to be investigate for false pretenses

My last purchase on the account was late XXXX or early XX/XX/XXXX for a boy Slippers for a vacation again I payed which would be the last time I used the card.Sometime in XX/XX/XXXX I started receiving payments statements from Children Place for purchases that was made on the card, I call customer service and let them know that I didn't make these purchases and close my account the card also which they assured me they did.After that I started getting calls about making payments, I kept getting purchases statements. I called and spoke to again someone different about what's going and they told me that are doing an investigation after they finish with it they will contact me. Someone contacted me some time in XXXX or XXXX I spoke to a lady, she was saying trying to figure out how I am going start making payments I told that I am not making no payments cause I did not make.going back and forth with she let me know that card was being used in a another state which I never been to. How I live in New York I have felt New York. Now am still getting still statements and they calling threatening from payments that I can't pay. I need help cause my information was stolen and used.and they won't calling me the XXXX XXXX was rude and that I need provided more proofs which I don't have all my proof is in my payments and how I purchases and used the card.

Consumer Complaint: I have an automatic payment option enabled to my account ending in XXXX. I have always have the auto pay in place and they charge me {$38.00} in fees on XX/XX/2023 and claimed my account is passed due, when it wasnt, I scheduled a manual payment for {$38.00} dollars because I was mislead and lied to. Additionally I was charged another {$29.00} in fees for a return payment when in fact I have auto pay in place. While their supervisor lied and claimed my account number is wrong that is why a fee was charged they have initiated an amount of {$160.00} from the same account she claimed it was a wrong account number. Credit card and banks are raping consumers in outrageous and ridiculous fees like a wild fire. I am tired on being charged unreasonable fees or fees that I did not caused to be added to my account. What are you going to do about it, why is credit card companies allowed to charge XXXX XXXX in interest but I am not receiving the same XXXX XXXX in interest on my money sitting at the bank. How much longer you going to allow financial institution to XXXX consumers
