Consumer Complaint: Comenity bank floor and decide credit card - payment is due by XXXX est. I paid at XXXX XXXX my whole balance and they charged me a late fee of {$37.00}. The next month I paid the late fee of {$37.00} and was charged another late fee because it was after the XXXX XXXX cut off. I was in another state and did not think of the time change. I was charged another {$37.00}. I called and asked for the late fee to be waived and was told no I had to pay it. This is predatory fees. Also a person should not have pay a bill by XXXX because the bank goes off et when they are in mt or pt.

I have recently spoken with a representative from the bank, and they have acknowledged the error and agreed to update their records upon receipt of a goodwill letter which was sent last XX/XX/23. The bank indicated that once a GW letter is submitted, they will take the necessary steps to update their records and correct the inaccuracies related to late payments on my account. The representative assured me that they are committed to rectifying this error promptly. Comenity took over billing in XXXX, but never sent me a welcome packet or billing statement. I called Comenity multiple times and asked for an account number but none of their representatives have been able to provide the account number so that I can set up the new account. I can not access my account through XXXX anymore and Comenity will not provide the new payment details, but they are reporting the account delinquent.
