Consumer Complaint: After recently pulling a copy of my credit report, I was shocked by what I discovered. I noticed there were late payments that are reporting on my credit report that 100 % SHOULD NOT be being reported on my credit report. ( EXPRESS is aware of this error and removed the late payment on their system, but refused to fix their unlawful, false late payment hit on my credit ) As you see from my supporting docs, they refunded me from there mistake. but some how im paying for THEIR mistake my credit report CB/EXPRESS XXXX XXXX along with XXXX XXXX I say this because, the law states that at no point should there be a late payment reporting my consumer report & should not include any transactions or experiences between me the consumer and any person making a report. Further more, I never gave any consent for these alleged transactions. These are clear violations of my consumer rights under 15 U.S. Code 1681a, 15 U.S. Code 1681a1 and also 15 U.S. Code 1666b Please reverse these late payments from my consumer report and update this account as soon as possible.

Consumer Complaint: I filled a complaint about Comenity Capital Bank with the XXXX and the bank responded " We are Comenity Bank and Comenity Capital Bank. We received the correspondence you sent to the XXXX XXXX XXXX and appreciate you taking the time to let us know you have concerns. Once our investigation is complete we will mail a response letter directly to you that contains our findings. '' They sent me a paper bill and they responded to not giving me a credit increase because my credit bureau accounts are locked and they didn't tell that I needed to unlock them. They never addressed the fact that they reported my late payment that I didn't even know that I had and they ended up taking it off because I wasn't getting any bills. But the report is still on my credit which has dropped my score and still showing and will continue to show for the next 7 years if they don't correct the problem.

My mother died in XXXX and I contacted Comenity Bank numerous times and advised them of her death and inability to pay her credit card. At the time of her death, she had no money left. She had no estate. I sent documents of the above information with the death certificate. Comenity Bank calls me constantly daily, this is harassment. Consumer Complaint: New York and Company Comenity credit card reported a late payment to all three credit bureaus for an item that was returned in XXXX XXXX. New York and Company partially refunded the credit card three months after the return was processed. Partial credit was done in XX/XX/2022. I called numerous times to request for a full refund. The merchant informed me that while they investigate and work on crediting the full refund back into the credit card, they will not report a late payment. However, they reported a late payment for the months of XXXX and XX/XX/2022. Final refund was processed in XX/XX/2022. I've called XXXX as well as New York and Company multiple times to have the late payment removed. Both companies have not resolved my complaint and the error still have not been corrected. Late payment still shows on my XXXX credit report for XX/XX/2022.

Consumer Complaint: Complaint : Comenity Bank has been incorrectly charging {$2.00} interest payments on months my card was paid in full and not used at all. They failed to notify me of my outstanding balance, charged me several late fees on that {$2.00}, and have unfairly damaged my credit score. History : XX/XX/XXXX -- I made a purchase for {$92.00} on my Express store card with Comenity Bank. XX/XX/XXXX -- I received the statement for my purchase, but misplaced and failed to pay this bill. XX/XX/XXXX -- I forgot to make a payment by the due date, and got a legitimate late fee. New statement balance of XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX -- I made a payment for my full statement balance of {$120.00} XX/XX/XXXX -- Despite paying off the account in full, I was INCORRECTLY CHARGED an additional {$2.00} of minimum interest. XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX -- Having not used the card at any point in this period, I was unaware of the incorrect {$2.00} fee. I was then charged {$8.00}, {$16.00}, and {$32.00} late fees, for a total bill of {$62.00}. I WAS NOT NOTIFIED by Comenity at any point of my outstanding balance or the late fees being applied, either by phone or email. XX/XX/XXXX -- I discovered a derogatory mark on my credit score, and traced it back to my Express store card and the surprise charges. I scheduled the payment for the full {$62.00} balance. XX/XX/XXXX -- On my next statement, Comenity applied another INCORRECT {$2.00} " minimum interest fee ''. XX/XX/XXXX -- I called to speak with a representative on the phone. The automated phone system tried to close my account before speaking with any actual human, with the {$2.00} still unpaid ( which, judging by other CFPB complaints would have led to even more late fees! ) Upon speaking with a representative, she failed to understand any of my complaints, ignored my concerns about my credit score, and claimed to reverse the {$2.00} charge. On my account on the card website, it now shows me owing another {$2.00} charge instead.

Consumer Complaint: Comenity Bank XXXX Lane Bryant account ) I have talked to several very rude collectors. I finally got them to quit calling me during work hours. I'm a XXXX and they would call 3-5 times a day in my XXXX. One very rude person told me if I didn't want the calls get a second job and pay my bills. Now they call mainly on weekends 6-10 times a day. Here are some of the numbers they call from : XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, plus several that show up " restricted ''. Since they don't always leave a voicemail, I am just counting the above numbers that I can proof came from them. Between XXXX XXXX today, XX/XX/XXXX, they have called 25 times And that is mostly all on weekends only. Today alone they have called 7 times.

Consumer Complaint: As of XX/XX/2022, I checked my credit profile and noticed a credit card account for Lane Bryant Commenity Bank. I immediately contacted XXXX XXXX and XXXX and the credit card company to notify them that this account was a fraudulent account that did not belong to me because I have never had any past business dealings or account with this company before. At this time the credit card company and XXXX XXXX, and XXXX are refusing to remove this fraudulent account from my credit file. They have also refused to provide me with any type of documentation proving that this account belongs to me. This situation has caused me a lot of stress because I should not be penalized or punished due to the fact that I am a victim of identity theft.
