I called numerous times, talked to supervisors and filed a dispute but nothing was resolved. In XXXX I tried deducting XXXX more points for merchandise and again the company took my points but did not give me my reward. I filed complaints, talked to supervisors but again nothing was resolved.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX, I got a loan through Comenity - XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Since obtaining the loan, I have been paying with Comenity 's XXXX XXXX online system. The system requires scanning a QR code every month in order to make a one-time payment. Supposedly you can make an online portal account and do paperless billing online every month through that account. I have tried every month since getting the loan, but the system always tells me that they can not find my account number, and the way the page is worded led me to believe this is because the account is not a credit card. My bank does not offer paper checks, so paying by scanning a QR code in order to enter the portal every month is the only way I can pay. It is worth noting that this QR code was only on my paper statements early on, meaning that I can not pay using newer statements ( that don't have the QR code ) and that I can only pay if I PHYSICALLY HAVE THE QR CODE WITH ME. This has caused multiple issues in the past, and I corresponded with Comenity about the fact that I missed a payment in XXXX because I could only pay with a QR code that wasn't in my possession at the time, as I was out of state assisting with a death in the family and expecting that I could handle my account online. Comenity did not think that the XXXX code setup was problem and left the derogatory mark on my credit for XXXX. In XXXX of this year ( XXXX ) the QR code for the XXXX XXXX page stopped working. It no longer brings me to the correct page when I scan it. It brings me to a page where I need to input my account number, which is a problem because the online services STILL do not recognize my account number as being associated with a real account. I have tried working with customer service and they confirmed that my account number, ZIP, and SSN ( required to get an online portal account or do ANYTHING online with your account ) are correct. The website will not allow me to use any online services, effectively cutting off any options I have to pay my bill. At this point, I have derogatory remarks from this company purely because of the difficulty I have had with my account since it was created. It was already UNREASONABLY difficult to pay my statement every month. Now it is impossible. I spoke to three customer service reps on XX/XX/XXXX in an attempt to fix my account and get my payments current. One customer service rep told me that I couldn't log in because my account wasn't actually associated with Comenity, and did not elaborate on who, in that case, actually owns my account. After that exchange, she offered to take my bank info over the phone in order to pay. I hope you will understand why I was extremely reluctant to use that option. At this point, I have no idea who actually owns this loan, why my account number shows up as incorrect when I try to log in, or how on earth I am supposed to settle my statement securely with ... WHOEVER it is that is sending me bills every month. ( The bills say Comenity, and it is Comenity who issued the derogatory remarks on my credit history. ) I have no idea if the company is just inept, or if this is an extremely confusing scam attempt.

Consumer Complaint: The Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), as outlined in 15 USC 1681 section 602, establishes the importance of consumer reporting agencies like XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX conducting their substantial responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and respect for consumer privacy. Under 15 USC 6801, it is mandated that financial institutions maintain an ongoing duty to honor customer privacy and secure sensitive personal information. As such, COMENTIY BANK/JARED, categorized as a financial institution, is bound by these provisions. Specifically, 15 USC 1681 section 604 allows consumer reports to be furnished solely with the consumer 's written permission. However, I have not provided COMENTIY BANK/JARED or the mentioned consumer reporting agencies with my consent, in any form, to share my information. Furthermore, under 15 USC 6802, a financial institution is prohibited from disclosing personal information to unrelated third parties without informing the consumer of their right to prevent such disclosure. I was not made aware of this right by COMENTIY BANK/JARED. Moreover, 15 USC 1681C ( a ) ( 5 ) restricts consumer reporting agencies from including certain negative information older than seven years in their reports. Any reporting of such outdated adverse information by these agencies without my consent is a violation of the FCRA. Additionally, 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( A ) ( 1 ) prohibits the dissemination of information by any entity if there is knowledge or reasonable belief that the information is incorrect. Consumer reporting agencies are required by 15 U.S. Code 1681e to establish adequate procedures to prevent violations of section 1681c and ensure that consumer reports are only used for authorized purposes. Failure to maintain these procedures by XXXX, XXXX and XXXX would be non-compliant with the FCRA. Lastly, as per 12 CFR 1016.7, I am entitled to opt out of such reporting services at any time, which I am hereby exercising.

These consumers are all in violation of my rights. The credit card accounts are not open end plans which they should be. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is saying that I received two credits in the amount of XXXX $ XXXX $ on XXXX card ending in XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX The XXXX $ refund was correct and I disclosed that to XXXX XXXX XXXX card. However the XXXX $ was not credited back to me. I will upload my XXXX statement from card ending in XXXX showing the reversal as XXXX card had a system failure and had to correct a lot of things. Consumer Complaint: I placed an order on XXXX XXXX XXXX website, because I had a {$10.00} reward certificate to use for my birthday. I spoke with representatives on chat but they wouldn't use the reward certificate, and said it would only be credited once the order was received. I received the order and STILL can't get them to use the {$10.00} credit and apply it correctly. This is an ONGOING problem with XXXX XXXX XXXX. After learning that they wouldn't apply the {$10.00} to the order I immediately asked to cancel the order and they wouldn't do that either literally within less than XXXX minutes of placing the order. They are scamming consumers and are fraudulent. Please do something with this company or shut them DOWN!
