Consumer Complaint: Hello, I was recently contacted by XXXX XXXX XXXX about a past due debt charged off by Comenity Bank. Upon reviewing the alleged debt, I am certain this debt is not mine. I have called Comenity and requested documentation dating back until XX/XX/2020 ( when the credit card was apparently first opened ). They were unhelpful and told me they no longer had these documents. I told them under federal law banks are required to keep records for at least five years. Consumer Complaint: Credit Card through Zales, card issued by Comenity. I had a issue with a promo not being applied correctly and the one applied was not the correct one that was supposed to have been applied. Comenity did not notify me of the incorrect promo and that it was expiring until after the fact. E-bills and Paper bills were not arriving to my email and my mailbox. I had complained about both before and was pretty much told 'not our problem '. When I challenged them about these issues on around XX/XX/XXXX, they responded by locking me out of my account and would only let me make payments over the phone under the condition I was changed a payment processing fee. I refused and they hung up. I attempted to contact them again over the next 6 months when for some reason, back in XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX my account became unlocked and could make payments without the need of a payment processing fee. As of today, XX/XX/XXXXXXXX I called in to have those fees and charges waved for non-payment on the account they would not let me make payments unless I paid a payment processing fee and called in. They waved one late fee and then proceeded to tell me " There is nothing else we can do ''. The account was paid in full today and I am not satisfied with how they handle this account and how they were charging me fees with no way to contest or resolve it unless I paid even more money to process payments.

Consumer Complaint: The end XX/XX/2022 I took line credit on my home XXXXXXXX XXXX sent the payoff to comenity wayfair {$4800.00} we got the address from them to send and got payoff off my stmnt off line. Then received call the end XXXX said they didn't get it.the bank asked for overnight address they gave a lock box address they tried saying didn't get but bank verified was cashed by comenity bank. Have sent several disputes and so did the bank showing they cashed it and even filed with the XXXX of Ohio and they keep saying go to the bank that cashed it. They cashed it I sent proof and so has XXXX XXXX. They have damaged my credit and added fees to the account I need someone to make them fix this and hold them accountable I have my wife handling this as I work as a construction XXXX during the day. Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX mailed in a check for {$16000.00} to payoff my Comenity/BJs Mastercard. Comenity cashed the check on XX/XX/XXXX. The {$16000.00} was never applied to my account. I sent in 2 seperate disputes with no resolve. XX/XX/XXXX, all Comenity/BJs Mastercard accounts were transferred to XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX has no record of any of my disputes and I can not get in contact with anyone at Comenity to help me resolve this issue.

Consumer Complaint: IKEA promoted a deferred interest plan on the Comenity VISA card. I purchased over {$1000.00} of IKEA merchandise in order to make use of their 12 months deferred interest promotion, as advertised on their website and throughout the store. When applying for the card, the promotion was again mentioned. When I received my first statement in XXXX, I was charged interest. I immediately contacted the company and opened a dispute. Over THREE MONTHS later, I received a physical letter stating that they did not believe the promotion is valid. Since they refuse to honor the promotional terms, I demand they remove the interest charged ( {$89.00} ) from my statement. I will pay the remaining balance and close the card. I was instructed to call into their customer service line and ask for a supervisor, who refused to remove the interest. I have also filed a complaint with the XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I made my payment to Comenity on XX/XX/2023 for {$57.00}. They then took another {$57.00} from my debit account on XX/XX/2023. I called them to resolve the issue and they were of no help. They said they would issue me a paper check for the unauthorized amount but refuse to help in any way for the fee I will be incurring with my bank because of their fraudulent charge. I am now under {$57.00} in my debit account and will be charged an extra {$35.00} because of comenity bank. I called my bank and since the charge is still pending they can not put a claim through to stop the payment and comenity bank is not putting a stop to the payment on their end.
