The funds have been held up for over 10 days this is a cashiers check theres no reason to hold that money on a cashiers check awesome in the deposit on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$6300.00} is a personal check and the funds cleared I have over {$20000.00} at Bank of America is holding up my money and XXXX is an extended hold and based on government regulations and the global conditions that they have to put holes on everybodys checks Ive never bounced any checks Ive never Made fraudulent activity on the account. My funds need to be made available. It is a small business account and that you always say small businesses, backbone of XXXX well why isnt there any help for small businesses? These banks are taking the money home for 10 days Im not getting the interest off that money theres no benefit for me all the benefits in their hands theyre got it over {$20000.00} off of my account. Multiply that by millions of accounts and they hold on to the money and not release the money so small businesses can operate, working capital something must be done. This is fraudulent almost criminal to steal someones money and then politely return it after 10 days of use without any interest.

This dealer submitted a credit application to many auto loan companies for hard inquiry on XX/XX/2023. I contacted the dealer for the details on XXXX XXXX for XX/XX/XXXX inquiry and discovered that the thief used a counterfeit driver license with my name on XXXX XXXX. I filed the identity theft case with FTC ( XXXX ) for XXXX XXXX ( Dealer ) and XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX, 2023. I filed a police report with XXXX XXXX CA XXXX Police Department on XXXX XXXX and the police report was approved on XXXX, XXXX. Along with XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX more financial companies made hard inquiry on my credit report due to this fraudulent deal on XX/XX/2023. The hard inquiries submitted on XX/XX/2023 are all fraudulent which I do not recognize. I have been or am individually contacting all companies involved to report the identity theft issue and fraudulent inquiry but some of companies are not reachable.

Consumer Complaint: I sent in a document to support my fraudulent claim with the prepaid claims department ( claim # : XXXX ) which I already complained about in my original complaint which is POSTED BELOW and I was told " OH MY XXXX THIS PROOF SHOULD BE ENOUGH HERE, THIS IS ACTUALLY GREAT, YOU SHOULD HERE FROM OUR BACK STAFF SOON '' However I still haven't heard anything an its been weeks, I was also MISINFORMED by more than one employee about complaints filed for the timing going past when they should have, for my claim on their behalf as I found they weren't actually writing them in the notes after telling me they were. ORIGINAL CLAIM : I filed a FRAUDULENT claim with Bank Of America in XXXX Over a year ago. I was scammed out of $ XXXX. What happened was I never received a XXXX prepaid Bank Of America card before when I signed up, so All the transactions made WERE NOT ME an they told me they agree and I would be sent a new card while they investigate. I was sent a new card but there were no funds on it as there should have been either a provisional credit as I was informed or ALL OF MY BENEFITS THAT WERE PAID OUT TO THE ACCOUNT OVER THE COURSE OF TIME SINCE I WAS STILL CERTIFYING FOR MY BENEFITS AS TOLD I've been calling an complaining on this same dispute ( claim # : XXXX ) for over ONE YEAR, as well as sent proof of transactions IN DIFFERENT STATES WITHIN DAYS AN SOMETIMES HOURS OF EACH OTHER an I still haven't been told of a final determination to the investigation NOR have I received any provisional credit or my money returned. Ive been evicted, Lost my cell phone due to non payment, Lost my car, Ect ..... I NEED MY MONEY. Bank Of America is in NO rush to resolve the issue as they took 90 days investigating then reconsidered it which should take 45 days or less as they said. But still nothing an i've been on standby another 70-95 days since ...... XXXX provisional credit nor did they credit me what is owed. ( ALSO : I WAS TOLD COMPLAINTS WERE FILED BY BOA PREPAID CUSTOMER SUPPORT, BUT WHEN I CALLED THE NEXT DAY AN ASKED, THE NEXT EMPLOYEE SAID THEY WERE NOT IN THE NOTES ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. ( IVE ONLY BEEN ISSUED XXXX $ OF CREDIT ADJUSTMENT THUS FAR ) Lastly I seen multiple transactions in different states back to back once i was allowed access to the online account. THOSE transactions dates:XXXX ( Arizona, Texas, Florida, utah ) ALL PLACES I NEVER BEEN. file attached.

Consumer Complaint: My son was targeted in his first yoer of College in a teacher work related scam where the scammer sends him a ( fake ) check but real from another innocent party as a work related task. He was asked to deposit it and send the professor ( via XXXX ) a sum of money and keep the rest as his pay. Obviously, the check was returned as unpaid, the Bank ( BOA ) says they can not trace the XXXX Payment ( even though they had the recipients pay info ) and proceded to charge back to my son 's account. This account could not afford the pay back as the funds did not support that payment. So BOA took the funds out of MY account which was connected only by my wife 's name on my account. My sons account was separate and I do not know how that is legal??? To the tune of approximatley {$1000.00} They would not reverse nor even negotiate this transaction, so I closed my account with them after about 30 years with the institution! I think this policy is ilegal and should not have been my personal account 's responsibility. BOA actually had the scammer 's info but would not persue. I also filed a report with the FBI about the scam.

It begins in XXXX of XXXX unexpectedly I received a phone call from a customer care Agent stating that my account compromised It was informed that a new account been set up. If I need my new account information I need to come to nearest Branch. Account already set up to complete the opening new account My new account. The same activity continued for next 2 years Each time I was told the same thing always no explanation since BOFA would not helping me I choose to look in to it myself. XX/XX/XXXX BofA called as expected with the same story Account compromised new account already opened local branch to complete account set up. This time I made sure to ask direct questions To maybe understand better situation I was told nothing going on or taking out of my compromised account The account been Frozen with XXXX XXXX XXXX Knowing BOFA will call I had been picking up My statement from local Branch. On XX/XX/XXXX I obtained a statement from BOFA To see what's going on with my account After I was told my account was frozen It was 10 Debits & credits & 46 withdrawals With in 12 hrs On the next statements It was 46 deposit Credits and 151 withdrawals And {$910.00} XXXX pending and credit hold XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX The freeze was removed Activity with creditors I Was told I need pay Anyone who was not been Paid to account ending with XXXX And money will be transferred to my new account The Money I paid they we're charged to my frozen Account and money never been transferred to My new account. All transactions I have Included on statements I have attached with This email. BofA gave no explanation.I went to severely Banks trying to find answers. I was lucky Enough to find a lady that wanted to assist me. She did her best to try to figure out what was Going on. She spoke with me for a good 10 Mins trying to see what was Going on she Wasn't able to to assist me because The BOFA Noted to my account phone number I need to call whenever I need a help with to my account the risk department phone number is XXXX XXXX XXXX. And she gave me account number The BOFA Closed with funds in it # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I'm attaching the card she gave me with This email also. She was quickly called by the manager she can No longer assist me. For several weeks been Contacted BOFA I was told that BOFA decides Not to do business with me anymore they're will Mail me a cashier 's check for my funds was Remain in My Accounts with no explanation at All I reviewed lettera from BOFA that my Accounts Will be closed on XX/XX/XXXX and BOFA will mail me a cashier 's check. Consumer Complaint: I was defrauded by an auto mechanic in XXXX and I immediately reached out to Bank of America and Visa, the card issuer, to assist with consumer protection. I brought my car in for a FULL SYNTHETIC OIL CHANGE AND COMPLETE TUNE UP, but the mechanic performed a conventional oil change and only an incomplete tune up. When I collected my vehicle, I noticed on the receipt that this was not what had been discussed in person and by phone with the shop manager. The clerk informed me that management was away and I would have to call. I did, immediately, and spoke with tech, who apologetically conceded that they did not perform the agreed to repairs. He provided contact information and informed me that I could also expect to receive a call from his manager. When reached by phone, she similarly apologized and offered a partial refund and a re-do of some of the work. I agreed, but when I brought the vehicle back to the shop, the aging owner aggressively approached me. He overruled her on the refund and re-work and berated me in front of the customers. He invaded my personal space and I left the store with a warning that, had I stayed, I would need to involve the police because he was becoming belligerent. About 5-10 minutes, later I received a frantic call from the manager again asking me to return to the store for a partial refund. I informed her that I did not feel safe returning to the store and she admitted that he was out of control. I told her I would handle it with my card company and bank. The Bank of America representative assured me that I neednt worry and that my Visa/BOA card was fraud-protected. The man did not perform the work that was agreed to and I should be due for a full refund. I contacted the Better Business Bureau, but the shop did not cooperate. I similarly reached out to an association of auto mechanics. I eventually received a temporary credit for the charge. I thought this was over until Thursday, when, without warning, I saw that the amount of {$460.00} was withdrawn from my account. I had not even been consulted. Had they asked, I could have included further testimony and documentation. This man, whos shop is currently 1-star rated, did not perform the work he was paid to complete and then physically threatened me when I attempted to resolve the problem. He did perform some work, but it was not what was paid for. I was completely defrauded and the card company inexplicably sided with a merchant with a history of intimidation and shoddy workmanship. I am flabbergasted and have since reached out to local news media about both the mechanic shop and Visas response.

A strange thing I noticed when I pulled XXXX records that they operate under XXXX companies XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Owner Title of these companies is XXXX, No name of the Owners listed in XXXX division of Corporations. I am sure when they recieve these wire transfers into their Bank of America account they withdraw all funds right away in XXXX. Bank of America is ignoring all security protocols of a Business why these fraudsters are pulling all this XXXX. When I register my business in Florida division of Corporations XXXX, I have to provide my name Title & address. These fraudsters should be behind bars Before they hurt/victimize more people Bank of America should be more vigilant & follow Account opening protocols, Bank of America should flag these 2 companies accounts Audit them ASAP instead of ignoring & protecting their fraudsters business account holders. Once these fraudsters receive wire funds in their account they never ship product stop answering phone calls text messages. They keep changing phone numbers. Here are their phone numbers. I recognized the call coming in as I call BOA @ that # whenever I need to. All I remember is a man with a XXXX accent was calling me from BOA and said that someone from XXXX was trying to hack me. I trusted the call and reacted to his sense of urgency and was immediatley in a shock & scared mode to act quickly. He said there were two amounts that someone was trying to take from me. He said don't worry XXXX XXXX we will fix this on the computer, we have to do this on the BOA site through the XXXX XXXX. He first said, lets do this together on your phone, I said, No, I want to do this on my laptop, it will be clearer and thats what we did. He guided me to go to the XXXX portion of my account and was instructing me to reverse the transaction by putting my name in on one line and on another line an email address. What he was telling me to do was not working and I was frustrated cause I thought I was dealing with an untrained BOA customer service person. He then transferred me to another XXXX speaking man who instructed me to do the same using my name for the money to be transferred back to. This man used similar but slightly different instructions and he said do u see the transaction went through. I said, I don't know, I'm confused. Then the call got dropped, and my phoe rang from a number # XXXX XXXX ... It was the same man I was just on phone with & thats when I got scared because I asked him what number he was calling me from as it was not the BOA # and he said it was his private line, don't worry, and wanted to help me with the other amount that someone was trying to hack in XXXX, thats when I hung up. Thats when I ONLY thought that maybe something was wrong. I immedietly called BOA at their XXXX XXXX XXXX # was on hold for a while as usual and when the CSR picked up she said that there was XXXX processing out of my checking account. I said, stop it. She said I can't. Then I was asked for all the details. BOA CSR said, we would never call you for something like this to me. I said thats not true, years ago BOA called me to ask if I was shopping in a certain store & I sadi no and they said, ok, all good, someone is trying to hack you but we have it under control. I am not someone who can easily be hacked, I never even knew what spoofing was until this incident. I immediately changed my checking account passwords, even though BOA never suggested to. I filed a police report in XXXX NJ the next day. I called BOA fraud line every day to every other day. Each representative says something different re : my money recovery. BOA said that they were well aware of these XXXX spoofing scams. I then asked.. '' Why don't you send urgent eamils to your customers with the Subject Matter portion of email saying... Beware XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX BOA has been useless, the reps lie, and say this because what one rep tells me on one day, the next day the other rep say is untrue. I have contacted them via fax as a CSR on XX/XX/XXXX said that all my money was coming back to me and BOA was covering me because of this type of scam. Next day a diff rep said that he did not know what he was talking about, hence I requested the call to be pulled up and reviewed since they are recorded. BOA has lost my trust, and I will soon no longer be a customer, I just need help in any way to recover mu money and report BOA 's horrible support.
