Consumer Complaint: Brief : I was issued a check in my name from a project I completed in the amount of {$25000.00} even. I contacted Bank of America located on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Ca XXXX # XXXX I informed this bank that I lease office space in the building next door, Ive been there for years. I requested that funds be made available for me to cash the check. I spoke with a manager and they stated would be able to accommodate. When I arrived the next day with the check all forms of ID required XXXX XXXX. Lease documents proving my address etc. The XXXX manager brought check into back and then came out front and told me that they would not be able to cash the check and that I would have to contact the ppl that wrote the check to discuss. When I asked why she would not give me any answers as to why they could not cash the check. I contacted the check issuer and they verified check was good. I went to an another Bank of America ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and they cashed the check without problems without any weird discrepancies or difficulties other than the normal verification process. The bank in XXXX XXXX is discriminatory towards many because Ive had problems there before which Ill take to a district court on behalf of the people if it continues. XXXX time about a year or XXXX ago I put a check in my account at the XXXX XXXX and it was flagged for absolutely no reason other than Im from a different block and these preppy people discriminate against it. I wonder how many people they have done this to in the pastsht stops right now XXXX or Ill elevate it up the ranks dont ever judge a book by its cover. Im closing On the check in discussion, my Middle initial is typed XXXX. my IDs ( all forms of verification ) are spelled out. Even though it wasnt explained to me ( reason for not cashing ) I suspect it was the minor stipulation as to why it wasnt cashed.. which is wrong, discrimination because a human trained in the banking profession should be able to connect the dots and ( no pun intended ) but the XXXX punctuation after XXXX stands for a abbreviation.so not cashing it because of that is wrong XXXX XXXX educate yourself. Again I was able to cash this check at another bank quickly without any problems. And Im going to continue to use this bank in XXXX XXXX and everytime they make a wrong move Imma bust them on it and then Ill build a case and class action you all for real no joke If you lie and say some weird stuff in response Imma get you on it Have a good day!

Consumer Complaint: I formally requested copies of any documents provided bearing my signature, showing that I have a legally binding contractual obligation to pay them the exact amount claimed. I let them know The listed account is entirely inaccurate and incomplete ( SEE ATTACHED HIGHLIGHTED REPORT ), and represents a very serious error in their reporting. I am maintaining a careful record of my communications with them for the purpose of filing a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Attorney Generals office for noncompliance. I further reminded the m that they were not in compliance as in Wenger v. Trans Union Corp., No. 95-6445 ( C.D.Cal. Nov. 14, 1995 ), you may be liable for willful non-compliance. Failure to respond satisfactorily within 30 days of receipt of certified letters may result in a small claims action against your company, seeking {$1000.00} per violation for : 1. ) Defamation 2. ) Negligent Enablement of Identity Fraud 3. ) Violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section 611 ( 15 U.S.C. 1681a ), I am practicing my right to challenge questionable information that I have found on my personal credit report. I do not recognize the information listed below and request that you investigate the source of these accounts and ascertain that the creditor had a permissible purpose, and is able to verify my complete file information including full name, address, date of birth and SSN #.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I was informed through on-line banking that a check I had deposited a few days prior was cleared and the money was now in my account. I acted in good faith on this information, reimbursing the person who wrote the check, because I could no longer get the item to them that they had paid me for. I reimbursed them using XXXX. On XX/XX/2023, I was told that the check was returned and not funded. The person who wrote the check and received the XXXX payment is not responding. I would never have sent them money if I didnt trust my banks information that the check was cleared.

Consumer Complaint: My EDD unemployment debit card, issued by Bank of America Prepaid was frauded over a month ago. I submitted a fraud claim and they keep denying it. It initially took almost a week just to submit the claim because the bank computers were down! I have tried to escalate but it is very difficult to get in touch with any managers. Please call me back as soon as possible with a resolution. The amount frauded was almost {$800.00} and it was over a month ago that I filed the claim! It's a lot of money for someone that is on unemployemnt. I also want you to know that I did my own investigation and found 3 charges on the same day to XXXX for {$140.00} and I called their fraud department. They told me that it was done with a digital card at a gas pump in XXXX, CA. They have the pictures from the camera and the video. Bank of America said that they keep on denying me because of the use of a chipped card. That is not true because I called XXXX and they said it was a digital card. In addition, they also overdrew the prepaid card, which is impossible to do, unless this is an inside job at Bank of Americal So not only am I loosing on the fraud but they also took future benefit payments on this STUPID card. Please help!!!

Consumer Complaint: I use a Bank of America VISA card. I went on vacation in XXXX XXXX. On the last day, I went to the airport. I made two charges there. One at XXXX XXXX and the other at a bar. Both were recorded on my bill. However, between those 2 charges was a charge for {$280.00} at a restaurant I never ate at. I put in a fraud claim THREE times and each time was denied. I asked how it could be that I was in the XXXX XXXX AND the restaurant at the same time ( Since the charge fell between 2 legitimate charges in the airport ). I have only one card issued to me. In spite of explaining that three times, they said the chip was read therefore it's a legitimate charge. There was no discussion on my point on timing. This is my first ( and last ) card with B of A.

I quickly called the bank to ask hows that money came out of my account they werent able to tell me if it was a check or depit card withdrawal. They decided to file a check claim fraud. On XX/XX/XXXX the funded my account with a {$2000.00} temporary credit. And on XX/XX/XXXX they decided to get {$2000.00} back from my account stating that I approved the {$2000.00} check fraud to be withdrawn from my bank account. Thats not true, they cant even provide me any details about the claim process. Please help me!

Consumer Complaint: Relative to complaint # XXXX SUBMITTED ON XX/XX/2023 Relating to Bank of America sending my monies to an erroneous address on my Checking account. I have receive my XXXX monies in XXXX but Babk of America has not addressed the lack of security nor the late fees I was charged for rent subsequent to the administrative error on behalf of Bank of America. The bank error cost me financial damages which I addresssed in my initial complaint. But due to the BoA error. I was charged an additional {$270.00} per month in late fees because of the retention and mishandling of my wages. My expectation is that I be compensated for the late fees incurred from Bank of Americas negligence. For the months of XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX, I would like those monies reimbursed for the bank error in addition to my withheld funds. If my monies were sent to me at the proper mailing address, I would not have incurred the late fees.

I Made many international transfers to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX with no success, please be informed that all these accounts are in the same bank in XXXX named XXXX XXXX, the bank refunds the money again after I making call with claim department on XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XX/XX/2023 and my claim as I mentioned No XXXX, money refunded to my account and because I need to save money before another fraud I decided to transfer it in the same day XXXX XXXX but I made also another transaction XXXX $ from my Master to my checking account to transfer it one time immediately, unfortunately the bank locked my online banking and now I can not open it, in the same day XXXX XXXX I called the bank and they can not verify me however I gave them all the required information and their reply was that they will send me registered mail to my address in XXXX ( which happen before and I did not receive ) my request is to do urgent investigation to open my online bank again and control my account.
