Also note that : 1 ) Bank of America recently rearranged the menu items in the payment center in a more confusing way ; 2 ) Certain buttons do not show up in XXXX at all, while they do show up in XXXX ; XXXX ) Autopay has long had problems, substantiated all over the internet, e.g. XXXX XXXX XXXX 4 ) I know that I've put the cards on Autopay, or at least I've tried, but the Bank of America XXXX said I never did- that is upsetting.

Consumer Complaint: I just found out that Bank of America closed my credit card last Tuesday, XX/XX/2023 and I didn't receive any notice about it. I just got a letter yesterday that Bank of America will be restricted and permanently closed my personal saving account for 30 days from the date of the notice ( XX/XX/XXXX ). I have XXXX reward points with my Bank of America Travel Rewards XXXX Signature card. The Bank of America closed my credit card without my authorization. I have XXXX reward points that's worth XXXX dollars toward travel ticket or cash. The Bank of America didn't give me that money and claimed that the account was closed and that there was nothing that they could do about it. How can the credit card company close my account without sending me my reward check? I purchased with the Bank of America credit card and I never redeemed my reward point. This is thievery! Please help me get back my money. Thank you!

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/, I contacted the branch in regards to my IRS/Employment Retention Credit for covid-19 XXXX XXXX owners, that I had received. To my surprise, I was informed by the bank staff, specifically XXXX ( Acct Risk Closures Department ), that my check needed verification from the IRS before the funds could be made available in my account. However, I had already contacted the IRS, who confirmed the validity and legitimacy of the check, they also confirmed that they do not offer check verification internally so I was given misleading information from your financial institution. IRS prompted that the check be verified through https : //tcvs.fiscal.treasury.gov The reason for this letter is to formally request an immediate resolution to two significant issues : the unjustified hold placed on my funds and the lack of transparency regarding the status of the check verification. According to the terms and conditions of my account agreement, the processing time for check deposits is clearly specified, and the bank is expected to abide by the agreed timeline. Not only has Bank of America exceeded the stipulated time duration for processing my deposit, but the lack of communication and appropriate feedback regarding the status of the check hold is highly distressing. In particular, XXXX displayed an unprofessional and discourteous demeanor during our conversation. He abruptly hung up the phone without offering any explanation for the extended hold duration or providing me with the necessary details about the check verification process. I was left on hold for hours to be treated poorly and unfairly.

Consumer Complaint: Since XX/XX/2023 Bank of America has been charging me monthly maintenance fee of {$5.00} for not maintaining a minimum balance on the account. This cause my account to go in the negative. Once I was able to bring my account above the minimum required amount they continued to charge me an additional monthly maintenance fee. I reached out to Bank of America and they were only able to provide me with a month of credit for the fees.
