Consumer Complaint: 1 year ago I opened a secured credit card with Bank of America, with {$2000.00} as deposit. About 6 months ago, as I was leaving the country, I closed the credit card. At that time, they said the {$2000.00} will be back to my account in 2 weeks. Then during the past 6 months, the money still not in my account yet. I tried to call them for more than 5 times. Everytime the specialists said my money will be back in 1 week. But till now I received nothing. As I still need the bank account to receive the money, I keep the account open and need to pay monthly fee which is {$12.00} per month.

Consumer Complaint: My identity was stolen and so was {$49000.00} out of my bank of america account. I got {$44000.00} returned. I filed a claim with edd to find out what happened to he {$5000.00} missing. XXXX wants is verification paperwork for the {$5000.00}. The {$44000.00} was returned XX/XX/. There was no hold on the {$44000.00}. I have letters from b of a and IRS verified my claim in my favor I have messages in y XXXX XXXX account that says my account is open and card is active. Bank of America refuses to give me access to my account to withdraw my money. They refuse to speak to XXXX rep on the phone nor honor the letters stating my money was returned to me on XX/XX/XXXX. Someone keeps changing my address or email on the account. I don't know how m it has to be someone working in the bank.

Consumer Complaint: Every time I try to get money out it blocks me saying it's suspicious activity so I have to call them and clear it and I told them before to take that off that I don't want that on there it's frustrating to me. So it happened to me again so I called them up and I'm speaking to the automated system and they said press one if these transactions were yours pressed one then I waited for somebody to come on in case if my transaction wouldn't go through and while I'm speaking to her she blocks me and I can't get it get any money out again and I told her that I was already verified and she said well there must have been a reason why you came to me I told her yes it was because I waited on the phone in case my transaction would not go through again. She then tells me I can't get verified because I didn't have my phone with me and I have to go into a Bank of America and show them two forms of ID and this is on a Sunday morning. Then the supervisor gets on after I waited 40 minutes for him to get on while I'm sitting in front of a Bank of America and all they have to say is sorry for the inconvenience. He was rude and unprofessional. They said for customer security I told them I didn't want it to take it off I don't want to have to go through a hassle every time I need to get my money they did nothing for me just made matters worse and the thing is that they know that I have to go through them because I get my unemployment through them so they think they can act anyway. I have something very important that I need to do today and I need that money and I'm not going to be able to get it.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a XXXX on XX/XX/2023 via the web site XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and paid by XXXX using my bank account in Bank of America {$900.00} XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The details for the payment were provided by a representative from XXXX via live chat on the website. I received a confirmation of the order. It seemed valid. However, on the next day I understood that I was scammed, because I was asked to pay additional {$150.00} for delivery to some strange delivery company XXXX, and I submitted a claim about the scam to my Bank of America. Two weeks later the bank sent me a letter, which I received XX/XX/2023, saying that the claim is not approved. I submitted to the bank request to reconsider and again the claim was refused by XX/XX/2023. The bank cleared the transaction to scammers one day AFTER I reported the scam! I tried to requeest money back using XXXX from my bank from XXXX XXXX XXXX, and, of course, there was no response. I requested from the bank to provide details of this scammer 's XXXX account and name of the owner, but my bank did not respond. The website is created by criminals to still money and does not ship any goods, and my bank did not help me to get money back from the scammer. Consumer Complaint: I have had problems with Bank of America employing shady practices. I know they re-aged my credit card from XXXX which then listed it as *LAST ACTIVITY XX/XX/XXXX *CLOSED DATE XX/XX/XXXX and i know those expiration dates were coming up, so i paid the open balance amount in the beginning of XXXX, and waited for the Collections accounts to be removed in XX/XX/XXXX ( 7 years later from last activity ) then XX/XX/XXXX ( 7 years later from account closure ). Well now its almost XXXX and i have submitted disputed through multiple credit agencies, but they won't remove the account. My last step is to mail forms to BoA directly in hopes I catch someone who will remove the expired accounts, but I have better odds of hitting the lottery. Someone with authority needs to call them out on their shady business practices. I never thought I would have so much trouble getting a paid, expired collection removed from my reports. PLEASE HELP ME!! Side Note- I used to have a lot of respect for Bank of America XXXX saw them a a prestigius banking institution. What a simple fool I was. You live and you learn. Please help me fix what BoA refuses to do, but is the LAW. P.S.- All 3 credit reporting agencies are listing the same month and year for account closure, XX/XX/XXXX.
