Consumer Complaint: I found out on my business checking account the charge of {$14.00} on date XX/XX/2023, another on XX/XX/2023 and another on XX/XX/2023, Bank of America requested to fill up an unauthorized ACH Return form, that I did on XX/XX/2023. After that Bank of America refund XXXX of XXXX charges and send me a letter saying that the third one could take up to XXXX days to outcome. How Bank of America let another company withdrawal any amount from a checking account without a writing authorization for that?.

Consumer Complaint: I recently was denied my claim of Unemployment Insurance fraud concerning the use and spending of the amount of {$2900.00}. This amount was to be paid to me during the XXXX outbreak where citizens were ordered to stay home and and no non essential travels in the state of Nevada. My Unemployment check was hacked by an unknown user and my funds were never received. Their claim is that I activated the card, so therefore I'm responsible for the charges to this card, of which was never used! The Fraud department hung up on me when trying to dispute their findings!

Issue: Advertising and marketing, including promotional offers
Subissue: Confusing or misleading advertising about the credit card
Consumer Complaint: Deceptive and Misleading promotion. Please see the attachment that highlights a 0 % APR until 2024. Due to the " transaction fee '' the absolute lowest APR you receive is 3 %, not 0 %. In addition, if you use your credit card in a normal manner, it is likely you will pay much higher than 3 % due to the confusing manner in which continued use of the card will incure regular interest rates and payments will be applied first to the balance that has 0 % interest. For example : Let 's assume I normally charge {$1000.00} on my card each month and pay it in full at the end of each month to avoid interest. Let 's assume I take this promotional offer and a " cash advance '' for {$12000.00} that I believe I will pay a 0 % XXXX until XX/XX/2024 as highlighted. If I continue to use my card as normal do ( i.e. charge and pay {$1000.00} each month for the next 12 months ), then I pay off the entire card balance in XX/XX/2024. The " 0 % APR '' that I expected ends up costing me 15.28 %. Each month that I make a {$1000.00} charge and a {$1000.00} payment, I, in effect unwittingly convert {$1000.00} of the {$12000.00} cash advance to a 21.24 % variable XXXX. Add to that the 3 % " transaction fee '' and by the end of the year I have paid 15.28 % for the " 0 % APR cash advance. ''

Consumer Complaint: I requested the Bill Pay service through Bank of America, to pay my landlord ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) in XXXX XXXX, FL for my business rent in the amount {$9900.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. They sent check number # XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, GA XXXX. This person is NOT in my contacts nor do I KNOW HIM, he cashed the check through XXXX XXXX. Bank of America closed my case number as they stated that the paperwork was filed incorrectly. It is unclear if the one that I have is still currently active, BOA case # XXXX I have called numerous times to Bank of America, Bill Pay and also filed an affidavit on XX/XX/XXXX to retrieve my ill directed funds. None of these institutions seem to accept responsibility for this matter, all seem to point the fingers at each other and Im left with zero communication. I have been without these funds now for over a year. This is totally unacceptable. My understanding is that since the check crossed state lines it is considered a federal crime, hence the hesitation. I would like this matter to be resolved immediately since this has really been dragged on for way too long!

Consumer Complaint: Last Friday, when I checked my Bank of America, checking account, which I opened here in XXXX, North Carolina, I noticed that the bank had cashed five checks from a gentleman named XXXX XXXX, totaling {$4100.00} ( check # XXXX for {$600.00} ; check # XXXX for {$930.00} ; check # XXXX for {$1300.00} ; check # XXXX for {$86000.00} ; check # XXXX for {$35000.00} ) At that moment, I called the bank to report it, and the Fraud Department is currently investigating the case. On Saturday morning, there were two more checks from the same person for {$1900.00} ( check # XXXX for {$530.00} ; check # XXXX for {$1300.00} ) which surprised me greatly since I had reported and requested an account cancellation the day before. Bank of America is investigating these fraudulent transactions, but I wanted to report to you because it is very likely that not only my financial information has been compromised but also my personal information. I will be taking the necessary steps with the Police of XXXX, the Fraud Section of the United States Department of Justice as well. I don't understand why Bank of America doesn't have a good financial security system and allows funds from my bank account to be used with checks that don't have my name or signature. I haven't even requested checks from Bank of America. Actually, what gives me the impression is a precarious system with few safeguards, which concerns me greatly because they have all my information, such as a copy of my green card, social security, and driver 's license. They request this information to open their customers ' bank accounts. I urge your assistance since I have not received any information in writing from the bank and I need my funds back. They mentioned that the process can take up to 90 days to have my money back. I hope you can help me to expedite my claim. Enclosed you can find print screen of checks and print screen of online statement. Thanks in advance,
