Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX Bank of America locked my accounts and proceeded to close them please reference complaint XXXX. They would not provide a valid reason for this action but threatened to have my accounts locked and frozen until my claims were closed. In other words they were wanting me to withdraw my claims to have access to my funds asap. Faced with this problem I proceeded to withdraw my claims to have access to my funds. Numerous times I called the fraud claims department and notified them of police reports pending and asked them how I could submit them, but they just responded to hang on to any evidence until it was requested. This action by Bank of America caused hardship on myself and family, caused me to fall back on my loan payments and has affected my credit worthiness. I am currently seeking legal representation concerning this matter. Thank you for hearing this matter

Consumer Complaint: I have been a Bank of America ( BofA ) customer about 7 years. In that time, I have made my payments on time, including paying off the balances every month. I have had very few, if any, late payments over the last 7 years. On XX/XX/23, BofA withdrew from my XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) account a sum which I had canceled, or so I thought. Once I saw the amount coming out, I immediately contacted BofA to reverse the payment to them, as it would have left me with no money in my XXXX account. The person I spoke to thought it should be reversed without problems, but also thought it was a good idea to talk with XXXX. Unbeknownst to me until today XX/XX/XXXX when I contacted BofA, XXXX had put a stop payment on ALL payments to BofA, not just the individual transaction. I had attempted to make five payments within the last month, all declined because of the stop payment by XXXX. The only notice I received was a message saying it didn't go through. No explanation, nothing. I was alerted today by BofA that they were closing my account, I can only assume for nonpayment. At no point did BofA ever contact me by phone to find out why a loyal customer with a spotless payment record was having problems with the payments. The only notification I received about closing the account came today, after it was already closed and I could do nothing about it. I was never notified by them that this was a possibility, nor was I given an opportunity to remedy the situation caused by XXXX. This will drastically affect my credit, of which I have worked hard to build and maintain over the years. Seven years, spotless payment record, closed within one month without notice.

Consumer Complaint: I got a new XXXX through BOA car Loan on XX/XX/. On XX/XX/XXXX I made my first payment through my personal account in BOA online banking since I am able to see all my personal accounts including my BOA car loan account through Online banking. After that, I create the payments through Bill Pay in my Business account ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) I always pay my cars through my business account not personal account. Since my previous XXXX car was through XXXX XXXX, this payment was already created. I modified that automatic payment and added the BOA car loan account number but inadvertently did not make the change from XXXX to BOA, therefore even though the payments were created and sent with the correct BOA number, they were sent as a check to XXXX instead of BOA ( a completely mess ). On XX/XX/XXXX and received an email that my car account was past due ( I did not receive an email prior to this or by mail ). I contacted BOA right away and they said that my account was paperless and that they do not understand why I did not receive an email or phone call prior to that. I explained the entire situation to them but of course they said they understand it was a mistake and that they already reported me to XXXX and I need to fight this with them. They say they will add the notes of what happened on my profile that way when XXXX contacted them, they were able to explain but they can not call XXXX on my behalf. I have been fighting with BOA since that trying to figure out where the payments are and to obtain the XXXX XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I initiated a dispute for a transaction worth more than {$12000.00} paid using my Bank of America visa debit card. Two items in my order were returned to the sender and were never delivered to me, the tracking page suggest the same. The items that I did receive were eventually returned to the sender using a prepaid shipping label provided to me. I did not receive a refund from the merchant for those items. I have been waiting for almost a month, and so I decided to initiate a bank dispute. It has been 10 business days but I did not even receive the provisional credit for this transaction which is making it tough for me to pay the rent and other things. I would really wish that Bank Of America helps me with this issue.

Consumer Complaint: Best regard The following complaint is to make a complaint to Bank of America and the Visa Unlimited Cash Rewards Credit card, since they have been charging me dishonest and unjustified interest. They granted me credit on a card that currently has its last 4 numbers ending in XXXX since they decided to change the card number during the year of use. The agreement established with XXXX XXXX XXXX was that they gave me the credit card with XXXX interest payments for 18 months. I started using the card on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and the agreement was for 18 months, meaning that the term should have been met on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ; but they decided to start charging me interest on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$140.00} when in reality the agreed period of 18 months was due on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. Given this, I decided to make a claim to the Bank, but they told me that the system did not allow them to return the money, because supposedly, according to them ; The deadline had already ended and that in the course of the days they would decide what to do, so I waited patiently without any result. Then I had to desperately get the money and decided to completely pay the card debt with a balance of {$6100.00} on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and I did this with one month left of the promotion I had to use the card without any interest. But this was not dishonest enough for Bank of America and its Visa card, when I had already paid my debt in full, they again charged me interest of {$100.00} on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX to which I felt attacked and made another claim for their dishonest treatment, to which they responded in the same way as what was previously mentioned. So I felt so humiliated that I decided to close my checking account after 13 years of having an account with them, and they didn't care at all about how loyal a customer I had been. I changed banks, of course still leaving my credit cards open, but as much as possible today I try to use them very little. Then on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I paid the dishonest amount that they had charged me in the amount of {$100.00} so as not to have any other problems with this card. Due to the aforementioned, I have decided to go to the CFPB to help me recover what belongs to me and not let these entities get away with this and continue committing this type of fraud and deception. What exactly I am asking for is that the two charges for unjustified interest charges of : XXXX XX/XX/XXXX {$140.00} and XXXX XX/XX/XXXX {$100.00} be returned In total it would be {$250.00} which I ask to be returned to the card as soon as possible. thanks for your help
