Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX a charge was made for XXXX to XXXX from my checking account I approved said amount and canceled it. I have record from XXXX and XXXX stating that loan was canceled and did not receive the merch. XX/XX/XXXX Bank of America denied my claim even after I provided documentation that it had been canceled. Ive submitted XXXX disputes and theyve all been denied. I have physical proof and its still being denied. I dont know what else to do. XXXX tells me its up to Bank of America because theyre holding the transfer and Bank of America is telling me that XXXX claimed my loan went through. So Im not getting anywhere.

Consumer Complaint: I deposited a paper check I received from my company drawn on XXXX XXXX into my Bank of America Checking account on XXXX. When I made that deposit I was given notification from the bank that a hold Would be placed until XXXX. I saw this as standard and accepted it as such. Yesterday XXXX I was issued another notification from Bank of America that the hold would be extended until XXXX. I called the bank today to get more information about why the hold was arbitrarily extended. I could not get a straight answer only that it was categorized as a Risk Hold. I personally feel this action was punitive on the part of Bank of America due to my previous complaints and stating my intent to close this account at the end of the year after being fed up with their non-sense approach to handling customer accounts.

Consumer Complaint: I have been a customer of Bank of America and its predecessor banks for over XXXX years. I opened a business account over the weekend. I made my initial deposit of {$1000.00} over the weekend. They informed me that my funds will not be available until XXXX XX/XX/23. This is a violation of Reg CC. I have attached a copy of the check. As you can see it is a pre-printed check drawn on XXXX XXXX out of New York. There is no reason I should have an extended hold time in violation of Reg CC as I am an existing customer ( They verified my personal information at the time of account opening so they know this ). According to Reg CC, the first {$100.00} of this deposit should be available to me XXXX morning. The remainder of the funds should be made available Wednesday morning. I base this on your Board of Governor 's web site [ XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Section XXXX " Availability schedule States that proceeds of local and nonlocal checks must generally be made available for withdrawal by the XXXX XXXX XXXX business day following deposit, respectively. '' Therefore, a New York check is considered local to XXXX Massachusetts and should be available XXXX. Further, Section 229.13 Exceptions, lists the only reasons a bank could make an exception to this policy. Non of those exceptions applies to me- especially as I am a customer of 33 years. Further, Section 229.10 ( c ) ( 1 ) ( vii ) clearly makes the first {$100.00} available the next business day so I want {$100.00} of this deposit available XXXX XXXX ( XX/XX/23 ). " the depositary bank must provide next-day avail ability for withdrawal of the lesser of {$100.00} or the aggregate amount deposited to all accounts, including individual and joint accounts, held by the same customer on any one banking day. '' I want you to force them to make my {$100.00} of my funds available XXXX XXXX ( XX/XX/23 ) and the remaining funds funds fully available on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/23 ) and fine them for not doing so.

Consumer Complaint: This is a complaint concerning an unauthorized transaction of my Bank of America, SAVINGS ACCOUNT. On XXXX XXXX, 2023, I filed a fraud dispute complaint # XXXX, in reference to a, {$1900.00}, cash years check, issued to, XXXX XXXX ( as a unauthorized Power of Attorney ). I explained, the fact, XXXX XXXX, was no longer an authorized POA, based on the facts, she was only given " Limited '' Power of Attorney, with a " limited time frame '' of 15 days, ( on : XX/XX/2023 ), and a " limited amount '', of XXXX, access from my account. Withdrawal of this amount was done on : XX/XX/2023, confirmation # : XXXX. Both of which had expired/and was completed, at the time she was wrongfully given unauthorized access of this cash years check. On : XX/XX/2023 ). see attached : " LIMITED '' POWER OF ATTORNEY AGREEMENT/ DOCUMENT. Bank associates failed/failure, to secure this documented agreement, of the, " Limited '' Power of Attorney, on the files, of my account records... ( to properly process such ), in accordance with my requested instructions. Directly appears, to have given place to this unauthorized transaction. On XXXX XXXX 2023 ... Bank of America check fraud, investigation department, wrongfully, denied my claims Wrongfully, asserting the transaction was authorized... XXXX, 2023, ( Which is when originally ) this complaint was made known to the banking authorities, after I discovered all the facts about the transaction. I explained clearly the facts that : XXXX XXXX, was given " limited '' power of attorney, for 15 days on. XX/XX/2023. To obtain, ( only ) {$3000.00}, from my Bank of America, savings account. The authorization, was give on XX/XX/2023. ( 15 days ), Expiring approx. XXXX XXXX, 2023. The {$3000.00} limited amount was withdrawn, by XXXX XXXX, on XX/XX/2023, transaction/confirmation # XXXX. ( see attached account records ) By both reasons, and factors, all authorization given to XXXX XXXX, should have been expired, on the date of, XX/XX/2023 Making the cash years check issued to her on, XX/XX/2023, " UNAUTHORIZED '' ( by me )... In research of this incident, it was discovered, that the actual, document of the " Limited '' Power of Attorney was never properly put on the record file of my account... I not only explained the errors of the matter, but I also, retrieved the actual document from an attorney, ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ), which kept such on file in the records of a related matter. It was also discovered, " erroneously '', another Limited Power of Attorney, agreement with, XXXX XXXX, was being used, as review, in this matter, concerning the XXXX, between myself and XXXX XXXX. ( Which delt with different time frames and people. ). Which was on file... Causing the DOCUMENT of Limited Power of Attorney, between Myself, and XXXX XXXX, of great intrest and a need to review in this dispute. ( Inwhich I went out my rightful way, to provide, for the banks records, review and investigation ). But this ( attached document ), seems to still be ignored as a reviewing factor. After the denial of my dispute. Multiple times, I requested specific fact steps and or evidence used to deny my claim. But been passively denied by unexplained delay, ( to date ). XXXX XX/XX/2023, I requested to speak with the supervisor in charge, because twice I've made a request to know the specific evidence used in the denial of my claim, and was lied to, by being told a supervisor, would give me a call back. Yet know one has called. Clearly in a review of the attached, " Limited '' Power of Attorney, agreement, between myself, and XXXX XXXX, ( attached ), it can be seen, her Limited, ( 15day ) Power of Attorney, expired approx. XX/XX/2023. Also a proper review of the attached account records will reveal, her limit amount access was, exhausted in the first transaction she made on, XX/XX/2023, of {$3000.00}. Which should have terminated her authorization to the existing funds of my account. In addition I discovered on XXXX XXXX, 2023, she had some how erroneously, been added as a permanent member, of my account... which I never gave authorization too... I had to go threw multiple conflicts with bank officials, ( " as if I was the suspect and not the victim '' ) to have her removed... Even to the point of having to get the bank fraud department supervisor, to order the banking center to act in accordance with my wishes for them to correct there error and remove her from my account... ( see audio recordings on XXXX ). By all right I should not be made responsible for actions taken with my account by banking official, I did not authorize... Especially in the case of losing access to my funds todate... The investigation of this matter was very unfair and disrespectful to my place as a client, and victim of theft of funds held by this banking institution.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX needs to stop all monitoring and reporting done on me, they have single handily destroyed my ability to access financial institutions and bank in comfort. Ever since my identity was stolen due to XXXX having a major breach I am just now realizing the true damage its done and the tens of thousands of dollars its cost me and I cant even open a checking account, or get a credit card increase with a bank Ive been a customer of for 8 years. The following banks have reported that I had accounts opened, and somehow they all are in someway shape or form, not current or in a delinquent status. XXXX is a bank that I have never banked with but they have an account in my name with the delinquency of almost {$800.00} that account was opened in XXXX Arizona. I have never lived in XXXX. Secondly, Bank of America has blatantly disregarded my attempts to get any information on the accounts that they claim I held, and this account was opened up in Texas, another bank that has told me they have had me as a customer is XXXX and the only way Im finding this out is because Im going to apply for these vents for the first time because I am now a business owner and I need national banks that provide 100 % autonomy and accessibility But everywhere I go. There is an account in my name that I know nothing about and its somehow strange that all of the accounts were opened up in states nowhere near where I live I have repeatedly asked these financial institutions for my physical presence inside of a branch or even my own personal signature in ink not something digitized, but my actual signature, no one has even been able to show me a picture of my ID but accounts were allowed to be opened up in my name credit cards all types of false and fraudulent loans and here I am in 2023 paying off {$300.00} collections for credit cards that I didnt even know Existed like XXXX. What the XXXX is that like the XXXX XXXX XXXX I have never heard of that thing in my life, but I victim of a massive breach from a consumer reporting agency is being portrayed only because the banks are reporting me as someone who is not responsible, and may be a huge risk to a financial institution, which intern Only handicaps me and doesnt allow me the fair opportunity to bank with anyone producing a unreal foreshadowing of what you should expect I have paid over {$20000.00} to clear up my debt and remove the collections from my credit report and somehow a man that has done nothing wrong in myself Still can not find any type of positive response, at XXXX XXXX XXXX theres no reason why I should have to put my faith in XXXX XXXX, which is a digital bank and not of great history and reputation. I have only had two bank accounts, my entire life that was XXXX XXXX XXXX which Ive been a member for for 26 years and more recently XXXX XXXX XXXX, I need the banks that I listed to go back do some research and realize and think to themselves why would a kid go all the way to the state of Texas to open up a Bank of America account or why would that same person go all the way to XXXX Arizona to open up a XXXX account dont even get me started on XXXX XXXX because I have never even received a piece of mail from them. All of these accounts were billing addresses that have nothing to do with me places Ive never lived the credit bureau had my Social Security number wrong and my name spelled incorrectly for almost 6 years, and only when I wanted to start a business, because I never needed credit never relied on it. Ive been fortunate enough to live a life comfortably and not need to take out a {$300.00} credit card simply due to the fact Ive had over {$20000.00} in liquid assets since I XXXX XXXX XXXX, I paid off all of my unknown collections. Im still working with a bank because I refuse to pay one of these loans that were fraudulently opened up in my name because Ive had enough and early warning systems is not doing anything to help. They literally are the same company that almost prevented me from being able to rent my new apartment, why was that because the property staff immediately realized that all of the information that XXXX XXXX XXXX was reporting was absolutely false and incorrect for XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX Social Security number was wrong with XXXX. XXXX has phone numbers and addresses attached to my name that Ive never even thought about, XXXX is the same bureau that couldnt even get my name spelled correctly on their credit profile, which has caused me to be declined from many opportunities to obtain lines of credit that were true and not fraudulent. XXXX very upset, and I cant continue to act as if this is XXXX Ive tried. Ive begged. Ive asked, but no one is doing anything to help me, no one is reaching out to ask questions. No one is even giving me a second to explain what has happened theres no reason why I shouldnt be able to get a credit card increase with the same XXXX bank. Ive been banking with for eight years XXXX XXXX is where I will end the only reason I still have a card with them is because Ive held on faith and have tried to think about the possibility of bettering my credit which only will happen if I keep elongating my credit profiles history, which is now at XXXX years XXXX XXXX yes, ever since I was able Ive been with XXXX XXXXXXXX I just want to be fairly treated and honestly I want to be repaid because every collection agency Ive went to cant give me any physical or definitive proof that I open that account. What XXXX did they just not have a breach in their system. XXXX is breach calls me to lose access to my email I lost all of my XXXX money and more than {$20000.00} in debt that I had to pay off. Heres how you can tell if I have done anything with the bank after I graduated I spent days practicing my permanent signature and ever since then I only signed my name in full, including the first middle, and last there has not been one account that has been thrown in my face that can be definitively proven as mine whenever I sign my name XXXX XXXX XXXX the full name any other signature is false. if you do not see a definitive XXXX in the middle that is not me I sign my name in a particular way. Please help me, im so glad I started a business early and did not find out what was going on years later and all in with this do you all not know how exhausting it is to have to pay for every credit bureau, subscription service and more just so I could have peace at night but every time I get an update or notification my XXXX drops because I think somXXXX XXXX loan that opened up in XXXX XXXXXXXX is going to flash across my screen and XXXX going to have to pay it again. Ive XXXX near went broke paying back collections that were not mine, XXXX Bank of America, XXXX XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX. I have never bank with you in the lightbulb click today after I applied for XXXX XXXX and they overfed me immediately that I need to visit the Branch, please understand I am not angry I am not furious. I am tired. I just need some actual help and I need my fraudulent slate to be wiped clean because I am just a victim of XXXX breach.

Consumer Complaint: I had been employed through a company known as XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. They were supposed to put funds into my bank account via direct deposit on XXXX but I was told by the bank I was part of the 1 % impacted by that " error. '' The funds hit my account a number of days later. About a week later, on the XXXX, the company put a redacted amount for the total payment made. They were able to take the money I had earned out of my bank account. I called the BOA about this and they told me I had to speak with the company about this money being taken out of my account. They could not give an explanation as to why they were able to take this money out of my account. When I asked if this can happen often they said this is a " one off '', however I have yet to recieve that payment for the company which is due to me for services rendered and BOA has been no help or resolution in the matter.

Consumer Complaint: I made a deposit on XX/XX/2023 I received a letter that the decision to close my account.And to make sure I understood. I was confused. So I called XX/XX/XXXX. And was asked if I deposited my XXXX check I said no. I usually deposit in my other account premium bank. I always sign my check when I do it on line than out void. I was told by the first letter my funds will be returned it was in my XXXX they took money out of that check for maintenance I was told they closed my account made deposit on the 6 letter on the 8 so my only source of income separating from my husband I have no money no food. I couldn't even go on line. I went in talked face to face with banker week before XXXX Tuesday but he said they sent out my check and expect by latest the XXXX XXXX Be we came for another letter they aren't returning it. They aren't supposed to keep my money XXXX. And was to! d twice by letter and person. Account XXXX. XXXX is XXXX. It was XXXX you take money that you freeze. But I can't even get food gas pay my bills this is extremely rude uncalled for two letters they sent that they were sending I don't have it they blocked my card froze my account but closed it first the other stuff bank of America did came after Thank you Sincerely XXXX XXXX. I hope this can resolve and I can buy food my animals are hungry.

Consumer Complaint: My compliant is about the account fee unjustifiably charged by Bank of America over the past two years. I had previously requested an account type change from Money Market Savings account to the basic Advantage Savings account. I received the written confirmation dated on XX/XX/XXXX from Bank of America ( see letter attached ). However, despite this confirmation, I have observed a total of over {$200.00} in service fees collected on the basis of the Money Market Savings account from XX/XX/XXXX. Bank of America 's failure to honor the confirmed account change and the ongoing imposition of service fees is distressing. I reached to Bank of America on XX/XX/XXXX about those fees but the company declined to return those erroneously charged fees.
